Last, fifth day of a bike tour along EuroVelo 15 route, on the border between Germany and France.

May-June 2025

Welcome to Middle Age Miles
on our Eurovelo 15 journey. Day five marks the last leg of our adventure
on Eurovelo 15. With the weather forecast showing no signs of improvement, we
decide it’s time to reach Strasbourg, cross the border, and catch a train back home. Once again, we find ourselves cycling along a peaceful canal. The path is straight
and flat, making for an easy ride. Along the way, we met a cute swans
family with super fluffy baby swans. The trees would give us a perfect
shade if the weather was sunny. But even under cloudy skies,
this scenery is beautiful. Most of the surface is in a good condition.
But as we get closer to Strasburg, tree roots start to make the road a bit bumpy. Before we know it, we’re rolling into Strasburg,
taking in the city as we ride through its streets. After covering 40 kilometers for the day, we
finally arrived at the train station in Kehl, ready to head home. In total, we’ve cycled
about 340 km over 5 days. We’re tired, happy, and already looking forward to our next trip.
I hope you will join us. Thanks for watching.
