[Music] Okay, so we’re here. Bishop Briggs, north of Glasgow. Me and Jessa come up for a look around. Let’s go for a ride. [Music] Okay, another day, another bike ride. I am still in my arm brace, so I’m going to have to keep it chilled. But we’ve actually come up to a place called Bishop Briggs, which is north of Glasgow. So, it’s pretty fresh and we like the look of these. So, we’ve come up today, have a bit of a pump around, have a blast. I’m going to see what I can do. Obviously, I’ve got to keep it chilled. Got to keep it smooth at the moment, but these don’t look too bad. And we are 200 plus miles from home, so I might have to try it while I’m here. Don’t know how that’ll go, but let’s go for a ride. [Music] Okay, so while we’re having a wander around, just having a quick look, noticing a few little bits. Not the end of the world, just a few little bits and puddles and damp spots, but that’s why we have a trail brush in the van at all times. So, let’s get these brushed up. So, here we are. Bishop Bridge, north of Glasgow. Just having a roll around. This is the first lap. Oh, I say got to keep it very gentle with my arm. Wow, that’s a nice steep turn. [Music] Woo. That was a little bit of a heavy landing, but that’s okay. Track’s got some flow. All right, since I’m here, I’ve got to have a little look at this jump line, even if it hurts the arm. Let’s just see what it’s like. Okay. Okay. That wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. So, that’s good news. I’ll try to get a rolling start for these jumps. Okay, that felt okay. He even likes to get a little table over that hip. So, I have to say I feel a bit sorry for Jess today. Somehow her helmet got left, not back in Manchester, but back where we are. And she’s had to borrow one of my helmets today. And if anyone knows, riding in someone else’s helmet feels weird. Also, Jess normally likes a full face on pump tracks and she’s having to wear an open uh open face. So, he’s a little bit annoying to come all the way up to North Glasgow and everything. But, it’s just today, just two sessions. Got a few more days while we’re up here that she’ll have her own helmet and be able to session properly. But, better safe than sorry. She’s keeping it chilled while we’re here. Always better than going mad when you’re not feeling it. So, I’m trying to get some clips on this hip. It’s quite weird. It’s quite steep and you got to work for it. And I’m struggling to work for it at the moment, but I’m determined to get a good table on it. So, I’m setting up my phone. Let’s see if I can get a good clip. And if I do, hopefully it’ll be in now. [Music] See, this is one of the problems with pump tracks. As soon as it gets later than 9, got to try and pick our laps. Chasing Jess around as it’s getting busier and busier. have to time your laps now and it’s very difficult to So, we’re here at spot two for the day. Look forward to it. Yeah, I’m excited. Seems like there’s more here. Should be fun. Let’s go find it. Well, we’re here and I have to say, I mean, Fellow Solutions do a good track, but fair play to Strath Clyde Country Park for having this place done. There’s a jump line down the back there. There’s a big pump track here that Jess is riding there. And this sort of area, there’s like a volcano and like a bowl area and everything. And over behind Jess, there’s a whole mountain bike zone and like a couple of drops, only small ones and stuff. But this is massive of a footprint. It’s much much bigger than anything we have down in Manchester other than like big indoor BMX tracks or full-on BMX tracks. But this is really cool. So obviously still taking it easy, but let’s go for a lap round and just see how it rolls. [Music] [Music] Oh, fellow tracks do have really nice steep BMS. I almost overcooked cuz my arm folded rather than put pressure down. Oh yeah, that does actually flow really nice. Yeah, that’s a really nice flowing track. So shed a layer. It’s getting hot. It’s going to do a nice flow pumpy one behind Jess. Jess is on the outside line. It’s the best for the burn, but when you get caught out like that. Woo! [Music] So, I’m wearing the GoPro now. I’m following Josh. Hopefully, I’ll stay on the track this time. I really like this one. It’s really long for a pump track. And because it’s a bellow one, it’s got really good flow. There’s no jumps for me. There are some, but they’re too big. But the flow is really fun. I made it. So, at this BMX track, there’s also like kind of this little mountain bikey skills area. And we’re on little bikes, which obviously Jess is not used to doing this type of drop to flat on a little bike, but it’s good practice, like you know, street stuff. Drops to flat. That is little bike territory. You going to try the big one? No. It’s pretty big on this bike. It’s like a three set or a four set to flat equivalent size. I would, you know, but I’m kind of broken. So, you’re going to have to carry the channel a little bit, I’m afraid. Sweet. [Laughter] Well, we’ll find out, won’t we? I believe in you. I want to get absolutely perfect. No issues at all as I thought. But like you say, when Jess is used to having the jaw protection of a full face helmet and then to be wearing my open top is a bit unnerving. I’m glad she got it ticked off just for her own sake. How did that one feel in comparison to the other one then? Yeah, that one felt better. Yeah. Well, that’s the rules of little bikes when you center flat. Stu will vouch this. Stu loves the center flat. So, thumbs up to Stu for for center to flat there. He’d like this little spot. So, at this bike place, there’s really cool pump track and like a skate park area. And then there’s this little mountain bike mini trail that just goes around the outside. It’s only super short. So, it’s the one with the drop. Tiny little jump. And then this one just burns. that one jump. But it’s just good that there’s a a mixture of stuff and then just over these little rocks and then you just come back up. It’s really cool place to place this and you can park just right next to it or it’s good. Like and subscribe.

That Strathclyde track was massive, fair play to the council for having that built, bet the locals love it! Great video as always man 🙌🤘
Not really fan on pump tracks. But this one looks half decent. Hope you are at farmer John's next weekend. If so. Might need some advice. The canyon gap. Have fun😅
