I think I’ve settled on the Endurace 8 AL as my next bike and I’m waiting for it to be restocked in the Stealth colorway in the coming weeks. I saw some [older posts](https://www.reddit.com/r/CanyonBikes/comments/11kissk/just_got_an_endurace_al_8_are_the_website_photos/) here that pointed out the welds on the US-market AL 8’s were way more visible than the smooth seams shown on the website and the EU version (AL 7), and was curious if that might have been updated with more recent restocks. Has anyone bought and received a US-market AL 8 since the website started advertising “new stock”?
It seems that the US-market Endurace **AL 6** *was* actually updated more recently with the smoothed out welds (example from [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/CanyonBikes/comments/11ynikx/nbd_endurace_al6/)) compared to a year ago ([this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/CanyonBikes/comments/wu6q63/endurace_6_100_miles/) and [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/CanyonBikes/comments/u2yigg/loving_my_endurace_al_60_very_much/)). I chatted w/ a CS rep to ask about this and his response was basically that bikes with higher numbers are better models so the 8 should include the carbon-like aesthetic finish as shown on the website. But then I found this post from just 3 months ago that says the visible welds are still there, so I’m wondering if he knew what he was talking about. I would assume the 6 and 8 both use the same frame, so was hoping to see if anyone has more recent experiences to report!
