I’m currently 3,300 m above sea level here in Alooz and it’s almost time to take on the mega avalanche 2025. Just take a look at this view behind me. It’s absolutely stunning up here. It’s been an early start. We had to get the lifts at 6 a.m. to get all the riders up here ready for the ebike mega avalanche. We start in the next 2 hours. It’s going to be insane. I’m so excited for this experience. If you watch yesterday’s video, you would have seen that qualifying didn’t go to plan for me. But I don’t think that matters. In fact, the way I’m viewing it is that starting slightly further back is hopefully only going to make this video better because I’m going to have more chance to overtake riders, which at the end of the day should make it more exciting for you watching this at home. We’ve got a bit of time waiting around up here for the race to start, but the next clips that you will see are going to be sitting there waiting to start the mega avalanche. 30 seconds left. I Your son. [Applause] It’s okay. Sorry. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] No [Music] heat. Ah, my chain’s come off. [ __ ] it. [Applause] Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. On your right. And you’re right. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Applause] break. Thank you. [Applause] Turn through. Tro on your left. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Applause] Nice. on your left. Thank you, mate. on your left. Come on. Go on your right. [Applause] My chain come off in the snow. on your right eye. Heat. Heat. Ready? Heat. Heat. on your left. That’s heat. Come back here. Come through. Left, left, left. Sorry, mate. Come through. Come through. He’s [Applause] Well done. Coming through. on your right. Heat. Heat. Time for Nice. Thank you. Heat. Heat. [Music] Woohoo! There we have it then. I completed the Mega Avalanche 2025. It’s such a great achievement to even finish the race. I think I came 82nd out of about 150 riders. So, in terms of the result, obviously you want to be as close to the top as possible, but for fun and for the video, the race went absolutely perfect. The snow was a disaster. It was absolute carnage. people going over the bars, people running, falling over. It was so slippery up there because the snow’s been really bad this year. It’s very, very warm here. They peace bashed it, which means they just compacted it and it had basically just gone to ice. So once a few riders have gone gone down, there was ruts and it was just impossible to keep a line and impossible to stop on as well. You just gain speed. The guys out front were able to make the rut so they could actually ride on it. But if he was a few rows back like I was, absolutely impossible. Then in my sliding down antics, I managed to get the chain stuck behind the front chain ring and jam down the back of the chain guard. So I had to take some time and try and fix that, which was a little bit annoying and I did lose quite a lot of positions, but I instantly felt so happy once I got it back on because I saw so many riders go past. I knew the race was long, so I knew it wasn’t lost at that point. And as far as having fun goes and for your entertainment, it was just a race from basically start to finish of just making overtakes. It was absolutely incredible. I enjoyed every single moment of it. I rode a good race. Yesterday, I wasn’t happy because I knew I could have done better. I didn’t really care about the result. I just didn’t do the race that I knew I could do. Whereas today, I did everything apart from the start being a bit all over the place. I did everything perfect. And it was just such a fantastic feeling to link a race together over a course that long. I conserved the bike apart from the chain. We didn’t get any punches. I conserved my energy and just stuck to the plan. And I’ve learned so much this week. It’s such an experience completing or attempting this race. And when I look back now, I’ve had such a good time and I will definitely be signing up for more. This is a shortened video. This is a highlight video. I’m going to put the full clip out very soon, which is like over an hour long. So, keep your eye out for that one. If you enjoyed this one, please give us a thumbs up. Leave your comments down below and I will see you guys in the next one. I ain’t even playing. Got a really bad habit. If it moves, got to grab it. Fuse like a magnet. Lose won’t have it till I’m doomed in a casket. I ain’t playing. Got a weird mind. If you work 8 hours, I’mma work nine. If the shoot tastes sour, you should taste mine. I’mma stay in power for a long time. Get up now.

  1. Nice one Tom, not many overtaking opportunities on the narrower sections and you could see how easy it was to get jammed up on wrong line choices. Great video to watch. The snow was the ultimate slip and slide ride.

  2. A hell of a start. Credit to your character, going down to avoid running over the others. Really put yourself out. Passing respectfully. Good on ya ❤

  3. Great race. Was Kara more worried about you or her bike as you was sliding down the hill 😂.
Could you here Deaks shouting at you from the sidelines?😂

  4. Nice video thank you seems like megafun. Then again using fckg e-bikes for a downhill race ? 😂😂😂😂 It's laughable to the point it reached gay level 🤷🤦🥴🤓

  6. My son did the race just after this and confirmed it was faster to slide down on your arse .
Its been to warm this year .Also theres usually more snow at top so less riders churning up narrow strip of snow .
The snow gets very soft early .
