Outstanding hospitality awaits in St. Johann/Alpendorf
After the Tour Opening in Steyr, the teams will have another chance to position their sprinters. After today, the fast-men will likely only be active spectators during the final three stages. Our WSA KTM GRAZ team will bring both riders with a turn of speed and climbers to the Tour of Austria. In addition, we hope to showcase our jersey colours to a global audience on the second stage. In any case, we are already looking forward to the outstanding hospitality in St. Johann/Alpendorf.

Where you stand? Heat. Heat. A wonderful, not good morning today, but a wonderful midday to the second stage of the tour of Austria and we are right now from Bishop’s Hovven to San Juan Alpenorf. It is a glorious day not weatherwise but cycling wise and we’re looking forward to see and again intense racing and I’m more than happy to have you again by my side and yeah I’m excited on that things coming up in the next 3 hours of pure cycling sport. Yes, thank you very much. I think we can get we can buckle our seat belts cuz yesterday the final was very interesting and we had a had a nice breakaway and hopefully we can see some good racing action today again. Uh with a short overview about onto the start list we have behind the ski jumping hill. It is famous for the four hills tournament in the winter time here in Austria. Uh but now it is the hot spot for pure cycling sport and racing sport. Unfortunately, it is a bit rainy. It is a bit cold. There are some tricky road conditions. Could be slippery or not. But also, we do have some spicy pumps waiting for us, especially the last one after 142.1K. That’s the complete uh track length here with 1,677 m in elevation gain. Not that much that yesterday, but we have the first real mountain finish coming up. Yeah, for sure. We have a very tough final, a bit similar to yesterday’s final. Um, but today we end the race at the top of the climb and there’s no descent or flat part after it. So, it’s definitely going to be an interesting final where maybe not the pure climbers, but the the punchier riders will will fight it out for the win today. Just to give you guys a little bit of a stats about the last climb, it is 2.7K long, 170 m in elevation gain, and it is maxing out to 14.8% right towards the finish line. Yeah, I think that’s what’s going to make it quite tough is that the the the hill really ramps up at the end. Um, so yeah, here we can see the stage classification yesterday. Kartner, Felix obviously took the win. Felix Kardner took home the win here on the first stage. It is the first victory after Lucas Burlberger I guess 2017 it was with uh yeah Lucas Bleberger now him in the leading GC jersey with yeah tons of help of Rafael Michael. So UAE did a great performance buff. Also we had someone from EF Education Easy Post. Ryan Archie who took home the yeah come up to the Porsche called also the executioner. So also he is someone to look at today with uh yeah second best Austrian Marco Schle. And then we go on with Esteban Chavez also from EF Education. Then we have Bob Yungles from In Grenaders with 46 second already here. But it is the second stage and it is going to be an interesting one. Here we have an overview about the start area. And now you can see it was rainy earlier today. Everything was wet and yeah KTM cycling team here. One of the strong continental teams here in the lineup with Tim Bafla current Austrian champion. And here we have the UAE Felix Shartner back on the flags. Yeah, I think we saw some some good performances yesterday from the continental teams, the Austrian concert teams. They were in the break with team for KT and Troll. And I I hope we can see another breakaway today for the the concert teams try to try to get a good gap and and maybe make it to the final climb before the World Tour riders chase him down. Also, X DS Aana with Nikolai Vinurov. He really set himself also into the spotlight during those coms. We had yesterday three coms in total yesterday. Today again three comes uh mountain classification all category three which means six four and two points for the best three coming up to the com. And then we have also free sprint classifications coming up with the aerial footage of the neutralized start today. So everything was quite chilly here having a little bit of talk. Nice to see them laughing the weather at one. And another scenic ride from Bishop’s Han. And here we have the first try of a breakaway. He said it already. Coupleol is there trying to push it really hard. And that was Storm Inga Brixen followed by not Nikolai but instead it was Darren Fan Beckham. Those are the two trying to get a bit ahead. And with the team for bike jersey also man of the day yesterday. Yeah. Emmanuel Tangal. Yeah, he did a really a really solid ride yesterday. Also getting some K points. So he will be looking to get into the breakaway again today and try to secure some of those KM points on the first climb of the day. St. Martin and Teneburg. We had eight of them. trying to get away here. They started S2. Then we had eight men strong leading group on the first com here. Then we get a nice little spice descent. And as you can see, it cleared up a little bit. Stopped raining. Yeah, that that’s good to see. Also, the the roads are obviously still wet, so the the descents will be quite technical and slippy, but looks like we still got the breakaway out front. And they’ve completed the first category 3 climb and the first sprint of the day. So it is now we are with the leading group and now we are live here in the second stage of the tour of Austria passing the first spring classification in Anabburgg hometown of world famous ski racer Masel Hersa but now it is the place to be for all cycling enthusiasts and Here we have good from St. Povano. Also interesting to see Alpine up there. A world tour team getting into the breakaway. Yeah, with the cont teams, team for Alber still here in that leading group. But just to talk a little bit about the yesterday’s stage. It was also from the early on a bit of testing throughout the pelaton. Also the war two teams were kept a bit behind here. Let the cont teams work and then we had a breakaway with 11 or 12 man strong group for about approximately 100k. Yeah. right to the last two spicy essence and then everything changed. Yeah. Complete new race situation. Definitely. Yeah. I mean it it was great to see as I said before um that the Conte teams got up the road and tried their luck and and gave us a good show, but the World Tour teams kept them on a very short leash and they never really got over 2 minutes 30 gap. Um so they they unfortunately got reeled back in uh with around 20k to go I think it was and then we had some new attacks out of the pelaton with EF Education Alpacasin very hungry to get away to try and uh do a solo break. Um but then it all came down to the Porsche back. Also a little trek with Hector Alvarez was there in the little breakaway try, but then it was Ryan Archie securing himself the yeah, let us say the king of the Porsche bike in this year’s edition of the Tour of Austria. But then it was Rafael Michael and Felix Gardner. They catched him pretty soon. Yeah. Yeah. Ryan actually he he went up that Porsche bag really quickly and he did a he actually got a quite a good gap. Um but Rafin Mer and Gardner they managed to work really well together and they caught him quite quickly and then tactically in my opinion UAE did that perfectly and um Felix Gartner just attacked over the top and managed to come into the into the finish line first or over the finish line first and Rafford Miker also came in second place. So a one-two for UAE showing their strengths at this race. Yeah. And with a 26 seconds lead comfortable, not comfortable, but it is a lead. Uh Felix Gardner is in that leading jersey. And for example, Isaac Toro was in the second chase group coming into the finish area with also that 26 seconds. So, there was a a bunch of people in there in that second chase group. And now we see that there are also two up front here. And but still 100k to go. And the next 40 40 to 50k is going to be a bit of flatter one. The wind could be uh uh a huge point in that uh that part of the stage before we start another calm and another sprint classification here at Ruple with a sprint up to Vak chases. 1 minute and 27 28 seconds. Similar to yesterday’s situation we had before. Very similar. Just the differences today. We’ve got the two riders up front and a bigger chasing group try to try to get get to the front of the the front of the race. Yesterday we had a big break out front and then we had two riders try to try to make it up to the front. Um, and the next category climb is a category 3, which comes with 52k to go. So, we’ve got quite a bit of um a flat, maybe a tiny little bit hilly course to to ride now. So, but it’s it’s nice to see the roads are dry here. Nicer for the riders, that’s for sure. And to all the fans in the live stream, you can use the chat here to ask questions and Amaly is more than happy to answer a few of it and to let her expertise out in terms of cycling sport in terms of racing and maybe also in terms of equipment and equipment could also uh played a big role. road today. Um, yeah, tire wise, let’s say. Yeah, tire wise, um, there aren’t such things as rain tires in cycling as there are in motor in motorbike racing, for example. Uh, but they might have, uh, or might have gone for a different tire choice this morning when it was raining, but the weather forecast is looking like it’s going to dry up and hopefully stay dry for the rest of the day. Uh, more important is definitely the choice of clothing that the riders chose. Um, you can see they’re taking their rain jackets off now and just handing it back to the team cars. Um, I think yeah, nearly all the riders have got arm warmers on so the temperatures will still be a bit cool out there around 15° I think. And also the tire pressure that changes a bit. um when it’s wet then they’ll be riding lower pressure. Also depending on which tires they use, they’ll be around four to five bar where normally they might be around six bars. And yeah, but that’s all for the team to decide what pressure they’ll be riding. That’s part of the team tactics. And here we have the chasers Stansby and one of Benot and Coupe Repsel. Yeah. And it it dried up. Yeah. Pretty quickly actually. So now we do have also glorious conditions weatherwise so far. But as we all know in the Alps, in the mountains, the weather can change really quickly. 96k, just to remember, 142.1K to go. And yeah, some elevation meters are waiting for the athletes to come to San Johan Alpendov. It is the 16th stage. Yeah, stage uh finish for the tour of Austria and everything is well prepared. Update we heard so far. So we had to talk about equipment. We had the talk about clothing, but we’ve seen yesterday also some pretty uh high tempos down the downhills with uh I guess 97 marks coming into a hairpin curve. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, the speeds are very high in in road biking and especially when the roads are wet, the the riders just have to have to take calculated risk going down the climbs and have to decide if it’s worth pushing 110% down this climb or if they just need to get to the bottom safely and then and then chase back uh the bottom of it because but you can see now all the riders are taking taking their jackets off and checking them to the um to the team cars. So, and the roads are dry. So, that’s that’s nice to see. See Draco Elula little track. We have uh Federico estani in the feeding zone. Wow. Yeah. Also important to keep the fuel up when it’s when it’s cold. You know, sometimes when the when it when it’s hot outside, you you want to drink and you’ll be drinking all the carbs. Um, but when it’s cold, then some riders forget to drink. But it’s just as crucial on colder days, they won’t be drinking as much, but they they need to keep the fuel up and keep the liquids up. So again, team Foralberg pretty strong in that leading group with Alexander Connichef we’ve seen and Danny Gais Maya with the pip number 95 here at the end of that chase group. And here we are again. 85 87 nearly 90k per hour down. Yeah. But you can see the the roads are nice and wide and there’s not too or there there isn’t any road furniture at the moment. So it’s always cool as a bike rider to be able to um not break all the descents and just go for it. on the way to up now right now. Yeah. So, we’ve just uh completed a little hill and now now we’re coming onto a descent, a gradual descent, but the the riders will notice it when you got a gradient of minus two roughly minus 2%. So, quite a quick section now of the racecourse. So we have those three Conti teams here and one pro team Alpetin deco in that leading group. We just talk a little bit about tactics here from team Falbeag or from Alpetine. They try to probably control now the payload. Yeah, I think um because UAE is now in the leaders jersey, they’ll be they’ll be handed over the task to to chase a breakaway back or just to keep it all under control and Alperson have now put a rider in front. So that means Alpasin can say no, we’re not going to chase because we got a rider up up ahead. And for team for Alber, it’s just great to to try and give yourself the chance to be up there and maybe to go for the K points or the sprint points. We’ve seen already or we had already the first come up to Sank Martin um Tenan Gibber it’s called and there was again Emmanuel Tangal from team for most active rider yesterday again taking home the those crucial points in front of Nikolai Vinurovs Estana and a second one from Astana Ed Shelling. So those are the three. Yeah, it was great to see Emanuel Tangler get those get their max points on the first K. It was a 5.6 km climb with 190 vertical meters. Uh only an average of 3.4% and it maxed out at 7.7. So relatively flat climb, but they’ll be going they would have gone up that with quite high speeds. And today we’ve only got 1,670 m of elevation gain. But I think they’ll be they’ll be riding all the climbs full gas. Just have seen little trek is in leading responsibility here in the payload. And yeah, maybe we got already some questions questions here in the live stream. No, but we’ve got a couple of people from Mexico watching. So, so that is amazing. Yesterday also tons of people from Mexico are watching the tour of Austria. And to all of them, hello. And we’re more than happy to have you tuning in and watching that phenomenal cycling party. Maybe we’ll be able to see a showdown of Isak Del Toro today. Yeah, that’s my guess actually. Is that your guess? That’s my guess. Isaac and Tel Toro taking home the stage win here in San Juan Alpendorf. What’s your guess? Yeah, I I think Misak Del Toro as well, but I also I’ve also got high hopes maybe for Maros. He came 12th yesterday in the second group, the Austrian rider from KTM Trail cycling. Maybe he’ll be able to also put up a fight today. or also the likes of Felix Anglart from J Cra Lula. Um, as it isn’t a it’s not a a huge climb. It’s 2.7K long and 170 m. So, it’s one for the punches. U Johansson again here in front of ah yes the payload. Yesterday we had the same framing but with Jacob Elula on his back wheel. Now it is Little Trek. Yep. Little Trek. They had um Leonard Kendler yesterday came over the line in sixth place and um Hector Alvarez. So they’ve got two riders well up there in the GC. And there were also a lot of questions popping up for Alles Esparos, former Moto GP athlete. He had a little crash yesterday, but everything is good. He was 13 minutes back um at a 13 minutes delay, but he’s he was happy and he’s looking forward to today’s stage for sure. And I guess I saw him already up front in the Pelaton with his fellow teammates from Little Track here. Yensen Plide in the talk with his team. Yeah. So, now we’ve got this breakaway of five. They seem to be working quite well together. We’ve got um two from team for Alber and now here in the Pelaton EF education’s actually come to the front and uh they’re lending or they’re helping UAE team emirates with the pulling. I haven’t actually have you we haven’t got a time gap as such right now, but I’m sure we’ll get that in a second. Um but they definitely the pelatin strung out so they’re not letting this gap get too big. So they they’re not letting them off the leash easily. And they also swallowed two of the breakaway riders so far. One from Beni and one from Coupe Repsol. So they are back in the Pelaton again. And also EF education post is also um setting the tone a bit probably for uh Ryan Archie to bring him in a good position. The athlete representing Ireland here after yesterday’s amazing amazing uh performance up to the Porsche. Yeah, Ryan Ali really gave us a great performance yesterday. Uh we just have a question here in the live stream when the approximate um when they are going to roughly be in the finish line. We reckon between half 3 and 10 to 4 roughly they should be arriving in Sanan. So also the question uh who is your favorite to win today? We all get already uh answered that one but we will see. Cycling is unpredictable. Racing is unpredictable. And since yesterday’s experience with all the strong Conti teams here, we are open for everything. Yeah. But there are some people having something against that for sure. and especially one probably or one team UAE team Emirates they’re trying to yeah settle in their their lead in the the GC here. Yeah definitely they UAE team will Emirates will will definitely try and go for for a lot of the stages. Maybe they will let um a nonGC contender from the team try and go for the stage today. Maybe a bit of an underdog. But we we’ll see cuz I don’t think the GC will be decided today. Same as yesterday as tomorrow’s final. It’s got a very a very big climb at the end of it. And also on Saturday when we’ve got the QIA day the there them two those two days are going to be the big GC battles and it’s also going to be uh a stage for Isak Del Toro. We knew him. We’ve seen him performing well at the Jirro Dalia or not performing well per outstanding performance with a second in the GC and at the last stage they took the pink jersey from him. So we will see what happens here in the next three days. Yeah. And and this Isak Delo’s first race after the Jurro and he’s obviously still a young athlete. So, it be interesting to see how he’s recovered after the Jurro and if he’ll be able to step back into the racing on the same performance level. Um, but yeah, I think it’s going to be a great racing with a very interesting final today. And again, here we have him. actually a time trail specialist right now in the front of the pelaton. But as we said already before, it is a 14 up to 50k long mildly steep or not or flat part. We’ve got some gradual gradients, but um it’s pretty much flat until 52k to go. Obviously with a couple of um hills as you can see now where the riders are where the pace has just maybe dropped just about just under 30 kilometers an hour. But the if the brake works well together they’ve got a gap of 240 now they should be able to make it to the core pur the next catch three climb. Also one to have on the list is probably Patrick Conrad also representing Austria here. Yeah, we saw him have having some troubles on the last two climbs yesterday I think. Maybe maybe cramping up or or having a mechanical or mechanical quite sure. Y but uh yeah he is former stage winner 2021 tour the def France and also every time capable of pushing real hard when it comes to the coms and we’re back here with the leading group 2 minutes and 40 seconds already so far ahead of the pelaton it is 85k to go and again two athletes from team foralberg with Daniel guys Maya here in it. I think also maybe an athlete to look out for is Felix Angle as we mentioned before. Uh the Austrian uh the Ger sorry the German rider from Juula. I think he’s got a good punch on him. So that will be it’s definitely going to be an interesting rider uh race today. Yeah. And it’s also uh one of Lucas Bberger’s favorites for that stage. But there’s still 85k to go. There’s still a lot of time to turn around the complete race. And here with Alpitine again in the frame, Jensen blow. And they’re working pretty well together here on that little uphill. Yeah. Yeah. The the group’s the perfect size for a breakaway. Five men. They’ll they’ll be rotating nicely, maybe doing 30 seconds to a minute on the front and then peeling off and going to the back of the group, recovering and then doing doing it over again. Cuz when the group’s too big and then a couple of riders might might not want to work or take an extra turn to recover, then the whole dynamic of the the brake stops working. 2 minutes and 30 and the pelon stretched. So as you said before they are working pretty hard to closen that gap or to maintain the gap between those two. Yeah. Maintain it. Maintain it. And UAE again strong in front. But right now the first time we really see some leading work from Little Techch here on the tour of Austria. 74th edition actually since 1949. We do have racing tradition here in Austria. And it is probably the most competitive lineup so far here with seven pro teams in total, one uh seven world tour teams in total, one cont one pro team and 12 continental teams. And yeah, that little uphill forced the pelaton to close a bit. Yeah, it’s also it’s um good to see the other world teams helping out UAE. So, we saw Little Trek, EF Education, and obviously UAE doing the work on the front, just controlling the gap and keeping around this 2 minutes 45. And we’ve got Guinhouser. Yeah, he he had an amazing JRO last year, won a stage and yesterday he came in I think as the last rider of the race. So maybe he’ll be he’s doing his domestique work for his teammates for Archie. Yeah, he was uh this year’s uh 14th in the youth classification of the Jirro Italia and yeah, eight place uh had an 116k long breakaway. Yeah, here on the stage eight of the chiro. Yeah, outstanding results. Paris Nit 18 in the mountain classification and third on stage seven. So third on stage seven. He’s definitely a rider for the breakaways and to then try and win the stages from the break. Team on the front in a nice arrow position. Looking good. They’re definitely pushing it here. They’re They’re not free free rolling in the freewheeling at the back here either. Guys, my just sitting on the back having a having a sip of water or electrolytes keeping the car intake up. We are nearly 70k in the race and nutrition is a huge part of of racing. So in the breakaway they do have to support the cars right now cuz they are under over the 30 second mark. Yeah. Of letting them in. But would it be now in that part of the race in that 40k the perfect timing to get everything fueled up to get everything filled up for sure? Yeah. Or are they fully committed in the game trying to maintain those two minutes and 40 45 uh gap? Um, I mean the breakaway is definitely pushing right now, but now’s the time where they need to they need to be eating here. So on this flatter section until 52k to go, so another 30 odd K. Um, they need to be eating bars or rice cakes or having a gel, keeping the keeping the fueling up. Uh in the pelaton it’s definitely easier when you’re just sitting in the group to be to be fueling because when we then get to the core pair climb, the cat 3 climb, it’s they’ll be setting a very high tempo up that climb and then we’ve also got the intermediate sprint uh 5k after the cat 3 climb. Then we’ve got a a longer descent of around 15 to 20k. It’s like a false flat type thing, but in the so a slight gradient uh downward gradient of minus1 – 2% they can refuel there again and then we’ve got another intermediate sprint and then we’re already in the final. So So now’s definitely the the time to eat a bar maybe and save the gels for later. Patrick Sto from Foster ATS team here at the end of the payload. Also, Little Trek doing work. Ryan Gibson, you can see it in the jersey packed with goods for his teammates. Oh, we can see Emanuel Tangler actually putting his ring grapper back on. So maybe it’s a bit an easy pace at the back of the pen here because obviously the draft advantage of being just sitting in the pelaton. We’ve got another rider having a comfort break on the left here. Now’s the time to be doing that that type of stuff because when we get to the the hills then it will be fullon racing. Yeah. So again, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask us in the live stream. We we’ve got it open, so we’ll try and answer any of the questions you guys asked us. The weather’s a bit similar to yesterday. Yeah, it’s cloudy, but again, the roads aren’t wet, so the riders will be happy. But I think the the roads are wet in the morning, so all of the suits will be wet and a bit cold maybe, especially the shoes. It’s not It’s not nice when the shoes are wet. But we can see the Alperson rider smiling at the camera. smiling towards the camera. But let’s uh just uh look onto the weather a little bit. Let’s uh use Yeah, that’s Polaright Henzen obviously enjoying his time in the break. 14° and there are the chances are high for some slight rain in the afternoon. here. Yensen Plide from Alpatine also with some pretty good results there. You racing the Jurro Datalia this year having a 14th place at stage four. Alberelloo to Leche. then with a win there. So, one of the questions are how old is the youngest rider and how old are the oldest riders? I’ll get back to you on that one. We will have that. Sure. The youngest. So, the youngest rider is an 18year-old. We have got three 18year-olds in this race. One rider who is best classified at the moment is the leader track rider, Alves Hector. He is 18 years old, born in December 2006. And the oldest is we will get back to you on this probably Raphael M with no it’s Ricardo soil and the oldest one Ruy Costa with 38 years old from EF Education Easy Post and also Paul Stefan from Albu Canton Sport and Fel MC uh 38. So we got between 18 and 38. So 20 years between the riders 20 years in between. So, which brings us to an average of 20 something here in at the tour of Austria. Yeah. And team Farber will obviously be aiming for the com jersey. Um I think Emanuel Tangle got the Ken points on the first climb. He is now obviously in the pelaton so he didn’t get into that second break. Um, so he will be hoping that the peniton comes or that the whole race comes back together before the gorier climb. At the moment it’s not looking like it will because the gap is at 2 minutes 39. That would be quite a big gap to close in in what is it 20 27k. So yeah, he might be he might be going for the the final climb. So he is uh current uh yeah the leader. Yeah the virtual leader of the uh sprint. We forgot about the sprint classification in Anabburgg. That one was for Yensen Plide. Then we have Mikail Silasov Soski from Foster ATS and Alexander Cornichef also from team for Alber. So as you said, team FE is not just aiming probably for the mountain classification also is trying to uh put someone of them into the top three of the sprint classifications. Alexander Kichev yesterday had also a little bit of a mechanic mechanical while he was in the breakaway group. fall out there to to support a car. Yeah. Yeah. Because uh the gap yesterday was around 1 minute 10 1 minute 20 for quite a long time and it was a bit unsure if the the support cars were allowed to stay behind the brake because in general um when the gap goes to 30 seconds the neutral service car is allowed to come to the front of the race behind the breakaway. And when the gap is over a minute, the team cars of the riders are also allowed to come to the front and support them, which is obviously a big help because if you’ve got a a mechanical at the front of the race and your team car is behind the pelin, then you’re out of the breakaway and you’re you’re back in the pelin. back wheel to the front wheel here and rotating pretty well here. Helping having helping hands is always useful in when you are in the pelotton. Yeah, it’s sometimes a bit of a struggle to get those the wind or the rain jackets off, especially when you’re wet and cold or to put them on again, especially that’s another nightmare if you’ve got really cold hands and you want to put long gloves on then. Yeah, that’s a very tricky task to do. But luckily, it looks like we’re around 15°, I think you said. 14. Yeah, 14. Yeah. So, they shouldn’t be needing any long gloves. just arm warmers and a wind vest when you’re sitting in the palaton and and then when you get to the front it gets quite quite warm quite quickly. So, we see a couple of riders coming back maybe. I don’t know if they got dropped or if they’re just going back to the team cars. You can see the Aana rider doing right now. Just handing his jacket to his team. Um there we have Rinkov at Varics with Yaka Primosic and Estana is again working his way up to the front. Daniel Marukin also got few questions how Alles is doing so far in the tour of Austria in the first real road cycling race or tour for him. Yesterday he was uh 30 minutes 13 minutes behind uh Felix Grochartner had uh a little crash there but he’s feeling good. He is feeling uh well prepared. He is excited. The tension is high. He said earlier earlier the day and yeah somehow it is similar to yeah to Moto GP and to Moto Racing. Yeah, he got asked this morning in the interview um how how he likes riding in the wet and he said, “Yeah, the road bikes don’t have any rain tires and we do a Moto GP.” So, I think he might have been a little bit nervous for the wet roads because obviously in the Pelaton the brakes are then extremely loud and it gets quite nervous and hectic sometimes, but we’ve avoided some or we haven’t had too many big crashes which has been good to see. um only a couple of small incidences. Yeah, there was were some quite uh tricky points there at the uh yesterday’s stage with some spicy 180 degree turns, especially at the start of the Porsche bike. Yep. Yeah, there was a big uh fight for positioning. Yeah, the riders said it was quite a hard day. First of all, at the beginning of the stage, it took quite a long time for the break to form and when people are attacking out of the main peneton, then the pace is obviously very high. When when people miss the break and or teams miss the break who want to be in the brake, uh then there’s a big a big fight to to get up the road. And we also a little crash yesterday from a KTM Trader. Just slipped out in the corner. Yeah, maybe just took the wrong line. Tiny bit slippy. It happens quite quickly. So, it’s just important to stay concentrated throughout the whole day. 73 kilometers to go and the gap is still the same with 2 minutes and 22 seconds, 1 hour and 30 minutes in the race. And now up in front is here Ecto Alvarez we’ve seen currently uh I guess in second position of the youth classification. Yeah, and yesterday’s stage um we had two DNS so it did not start a rider from Grenaders Castra Jan Yonatan sorry and a rider from Unibima rockets they them two didn’t start and we had one DNF shining Fabian from VSR Katium I think he had two crashes yesterday and we also had one rider who didn’t quite make the Time cut had a OTL so out of time limit. Bans Johanna is from Elbow Canton Fel. The time limit today is 15% of the leaders time. So yeah, he came in yesterday 29 minutes behind. So we had two people that that didn’t make it to the finish line yesterday. So we’ve got the break still ahead at 2 minutes 13. So staying quite constant around 2:15 245 EF and leader Trek and UAE working together again. UAE here with Isak Toro right now. It’s the first time seeing him actually in on the screen. Jacob Elula and again another UAE is uh closing up to his teammates. So the World Tour teams are up in front right now. Yeah, the Continental teams. Let them do the work and let them uh sit in their draft here. Yeah, we’ve got 70k of racing left. So I would give them a maximum of two hours left of racing. Yeah. If they average a speed of 44, they should be in the finish at 1529. Average of 42 km an hour at 1538 or an average of 40 will be 1549. At the moment, we’ve got quite a high average speed of 44.7. So, but we still got a couple of climbs to come and the hills. So, I’m sure that that will get knocked down a tiny bit, but at the moment, the pace is pretty high. pretty high base and pretty beautiful pictures from that castle over the tenangal. And here are seeing them going towards hooper going towards Vakrin. Yeah, I’ve got a question here. um why the cont teams are in a race with world tour team riders. Uh this is a UCI 2.1 race. So in 2.1 races, you can have world tour teams and continental teams racing. Um 2.1 stands for the for the stage races, the tour. And if it would be a one-day race, it would be a 1.1 just to explain that a little bit. And if it’s a 2.2 two race you would normally find uh continental teams and club teams that get invited to race. So this is a 2.1 the tour of Austria and that’s why we’ve got lots of contams racing alongside the world tour teams and I think Isak to just hanging around the top. Yeah, the top third of third of the pelon just staying out of trouble but position not going not riding in the wind. That’s EF right now. Do the work. Okay, pass the castle. 69k to go. And again we have the same situation that we had earlier today. The pelaton is stretching a bit here which indicates that the speed is Yeah, they put down the throttle. Yeah, they’re definitely riding at the back. The gap has come down over the last 10k reduced been reduced by around 30 seconds. Yeah, more right now. Yeah, more. Yep. So maybe maybe the teams are interested in the K points, but a team like team for Halberg, they’ve got their riders in the breakaway, so they they won’t be be riding on the front of the pelaton. A team that has missed this is um Terroll KTM cycling. Yeah, they they were in the break yesterday with three men. So yeah, they they might be a little bit bummed that they didn’t quite make the cut. Jacob Elula again here also at the very top of the pelaton to find. And you can see here on the topography it’s always a bit flat then a bit hilly then a bit flat. So, it’s pretty Yeah, pretty nice riding going on on that second stage. Yeah, as you can just see the rider fueling at the back there from ATS. Yeah, Tanskovski just getting a gel and also from St. Padovani 164, Federrico Gutso on the back wheel of Alexander Connich here doing the leading work. 2 minutes and 4 seconds. Yeah, I think the the proper racing will will kick off after the the last intermediate sprint at K 129. But it’ll also be interesting to see how the teams will ride this next category 3 climb as we have got a category 3 climb and then a short descent and then we got a gradual climb still afterwards. Even though it isn’t a categorized climb, there are still around 200 meters after the cat 3 climb. And then it flattens out along the top and then we’ve got a proper descent where we then get onto the flat section into the lead into the final of Sanan Alendorf. Now, let’s check. Uh maybe we do have some coms here on Straa. We’ve seen Shan Quinn yesterday, the two the day before. Yeah, two days ago. He was he set a new com up to uh I guess it was Pster on a on a nice recon ride before before the stage races start. That’s always a nice maybe a mental motivation if you if you can put the power out the day before. Every day we have Vine I can’t hear. 80 kilometers so far done and the gap is closing. Not fast, but it’s closing. Always a few seconds. Right now we are under the 2inut mark here with 1 minute and 54 seconds and they are already back here in Bishop’s Hovven where they had to start earlier today with rain in the morning or in the midday at around 12:15. But right now it is everything pretty much dried up. Perfect conditions for the race today. 14° a bit more slight wind, slight crosswind we’ve seen earlier and uh in some parts a little bit of a of a tailwind. And they are for sure not freewheing around here in that breakaway group. No. And the gap has come down to a minute 50. You can yesterday only UAE were riding on the front but today we have got UAE EF Education and Little Trek riding on the front. So here you can see as I said for famous for the four hills tournament ski jumping in the winter and also here a hot spot for skiing. 760ks of pists and more than 250 lifts for yeah winter fun here. But right now it is cycling fun. in the city of Bishop’s Hovind. We can see all the new safety uh features along the track here for the two of Austria. Light signals and now we are towards the starting area which uh let the athletes come through. And yeah, a lot of people here. Quite a good atmosphere. Yeah, great to see spectators out on the road. Even when the weather, especially in the morning when it was raining, there are still people outside cheering on, cheering the athletes on. And I think each of these villages have got little festivals going on, which is lovely to see the community come together and enjoy some bike racing. and also here in Bishop’s open all day long entertainment while uh watching the tour of Austria also on the big video wall LED wall they can watch the race yeah directly they probably also were able to feel the tension here yeah it’s always lovely for the athletes when they’ve got lot when there are lots of supporters out on the you know, then motivates him a little bit, especially when the weather’s when when it’s raining like this morning. But yeah, the breakaway group just left Bishop Sven. The Pelaton is entering Bishop Sven right now. Coming the last 3 400 meter towards the finish or start area. It’s not the finish area. It is the start area. So the gap between those two it’s definitely closing. Yeah, it’s closing. Yeah, it’s closing. But I think the the pelatin will want to leave the breakaway out there for a little bit longer. So because as soon as the the breakaway’s caught, then it opens up new opportunities or new chances for the teams to attack and then the the pace increases again and it it knackers the riders a little bit. So but they are closing it quite quickly I have to say. minute and 18 seconds. Right now, we had uh 2 minutes 2 minutes at 69K and now we are at 63K with 1 minute and 19 seconds. So, it’s closing really, really fast. Yep. But these riders are still working quite well together. I’d say they’d obviously be be talking asking maybe how they’re feeling, but they would have they would have arranged how how long they’ll be riding on the front for that. Everybody rides the same amount of time, but you can see number 23 here. Yes. And blowide looking good. Pretty uh almost nose breathing here. Yeah, easy going there. Daniel Gism, team Forelberg. Alexander Cornichef team for also there still looking fresh. Um, but they’re putting on quite a quite a high tempo on the breakaway. Kept it a little bit longer. The the gap between 1 minute 19. Yeah. And you can just see here the riders putting their hands up. Maybe the team cars will be will be pulled out of the gap soon. So now it’s a chance to to get the last gels and bid on from the car before they in case they get pulled out of this this gap. We’re here uh 20k to go until we start the next mountain classification category 3. There is a 3.5 or 3 4 kilometers waiting with 180 m in elevation gain maxing out to 9.5%. It’s called group hle. Yeah, I think the climb also it it ramps up a little bit at the end, but right at the top it it flattens out. So, it’ll be interesting the the punchier climbers or riders will be able to maybe get the K points. But I think we can we can look forward to this final uphan. It looks like at the moment it looks like a big group’s going to come to the final. Maybe there will be some attacks out of the pelaton on the on the next category three climb and and join the front of the breakaway and then there’ll be more riders to stay away. So, it’ll be it’s going to be interesting to see how they’re going to how the riders are going to race. Yeah. And then it’s going up to Vakrin with another sprint classification. Vagrine not just famous about the skiing and also the biking. They do have quite a big bike park up there. It is also the resting place for a famous priest and lyrics Ysef Moore who wrote Silent Silent Night. So the probably most famous Christmas carol also coming from Austria to all of you guys around the world. And yeah, it is also an important sprint classification for the athletes here. 1 minute 14 EF education easy post right now in front and still Yul Yuansen from UAE. Julius Johansen from UAE is always somewhere to find in front having also a little brakes here. We can see it on Yeah, another couple of comfort brakes going on there again. Now, now’s the last couple of chances to do it at with around 50k to go. After that, I think the racing will will properly be on and there won’t be much time for for those kind of breaks. But yeah, they’re they’re riding quite hard at the front here. So, they have reduced the gap down to a minute 10. So, and the front of the pelin is strung out and single file. Not that windy as you can see next to the road on the trees. The leaf leaves are not tingling in the air. So they are fine air wind. Yesterday it was a bit harder. We had back wind, tailwind, crosswind. Yeah, we had we had all the wind directions yesterday. All wind directions. 59 K to go. Yeah, we’re an hour 48 into the racing. We started at quart 12 with a neutralized start and we have got around yeah 15k is it to go to the bottom of the climb and hopefully there’ll be some maybe there’ll be some attacks on this climb. still quite far out from the finish as I said 50 52k to go and also coming back for a second time to Bishop’s hovven with in there in the second and last time we have the sprint classification and after that it’s all the way up to San Johan Alpendul for the com finish actually So at around yeah if they can maintain that speed they’re putting on we will see another sprint classification in about an hour or more. Yeah, the intermediate sprint comes with 12.9K to go and there are 4,2 and one points up for grabs there. And then the final climb up to Alpenorf uh starts at around 3k to go. Yeah, it’s a 2.7k long climb. Jac Lula with Patrick Gampa. Yeah, I think that’s Gio Steinhauser on the front still. Is it? Yeah. So the teams have obviously had made a plan in the morning and spoken in the team bus as we can see Troll KTM also getting organized on the left there. Yeah, maybe this will be a chance for one of the Conti teams to to attack up the the next climb and try and make it to the front because the gap is now only one minute. I just dr Marcos, current best Austrian athlete with the orange jersey and he is happy about his performance yesterday coming ending up in the 12th position and now today they don’t have any real plans. still trying to keep the pace, keep uh keep it up in the front and in the very last uh part of the race he is trying to push hard and uh for sure stay in the orange jersey but for that Felix Koshart now have to stay in the overall GC jersey. Marco Shettle from Troll KTM cycling team. We have now passing through Sanio in Ponga and over there on the left on the right side you can see Alpindul already but not going up there now. Yeah, we got a sorry we got a question here. when the last victory of a cont team rider was at the tour of Austria and that was Lucas Pelberger in 2015. So it’s been a bit of been some time 10 years. Lucas Bberger was uh yeah former team rider from Redpool Bora Hans Ka and also by JCO the roll cycling team. we’ve seen him and now he is at Rose Racing Circle switching to switch to uh Gravel right now. Yeah, in 2015 he was riding for the Toro cycling team and yeah, so maybe maybe we’ll be able to get a Conti rider winner stage at this year’s tour of Austria. So you can see the stats of group category 3 3.4K 51% and yeah maxing out to 70 7.7% A little bit of road furniture here, which is always always makes the riding in the palaton a little bit hectic, especially as they are obviously trying to close this gap down because we we’re at a minute 20 now. So, it hasn’t come down much in the last 6k. No, KTM cycling. You can see it as you said, they’re trying to Yeah. format themselves on the pretty left part of the pelaton right now. Beni told to and this is San Johan in Bonga the city center right now. So always a bit hilly up there or in there and then turning towards Vakrine 1 hour and 54. Yeah. So very shortly we’ll be coming up to this cat 3 climb. Yeah, there’s still some some case to go. We are at Yeah, some meters to go here for them. Yeah, you can see nicely how all the teams are organized at the front now as they’re hitting the bottom slopes of the Kahur climb. You got VS at the front on the right from our perspective and UAE lined up on the left hand side and also team Coupe Rapsel is also there. Yeah, but right now in the breakaway group, there is no one in there who is uh in the tops of the com of the mountain classifications. We’ve seen Emanuel Tangal taking home with the points on the first mountain classification. Then Nikolai Vinurov and Ed Shelning. Yeah, it’s going to be interesting if there are going to be any attacks out of the pelon or they all going to stick together and yeah and um let the breakaway fight it out for the K points. XTS Astana you can see here in the at the top and also right now WSA KTM Gratz on the red and white jersey. Yeah, they’ve come up to the front and setting a tempo now cuz if somebody wants to attack out of the Pelaton to try and try and breach the gap to the breakaway then they’ll have to do it now. Yeah, because the climb is is only 3.4K 4K long and the gap’s a minute 25. So you got to come out from the back and attack over the top. See the view down to Sanan in Bonga. It’s not Alpenov yet, but this is the climb out up to group. So, we haven’t seen much of Felix Gardner yet today, have we? I haven’t actually seen a shot of the leader jersey yet. He’ll be hiding in the pelaton saving in his energy. Uh, same with Isak Dela as well because I don’t think today will be a stage where we’ll see massive GC gaps. I think that will be saved for tomorrow’s stage and Saturday’s stage. Just maintaining the lead here in the GC classification. And here we have thousand meters to the comm. And now it is a bit uh yeah fasten up there. Alpitine with Yansen Pluride up front. Uh followed by Foster ATS SC Padani and the two athletes from team Fak. Oh, spectators. Spectator up on the wall being creative. Yeah, we get some nice camera shots from up there. Yeah, the the pace is increasing at the front, so they’re definitely interested in these K points. And some plide won the first spring classification of today’s stage. Yep. The two team Fleberg riders on the back. Obviously, Emanuel Tangal not at the front at the moment. He got the first KM of today’s stage and he’s in the virtual mountain classification at the moment. This sign gives you some more what was written there. We have fans from Norway and Norwegian fans from coupe repsol. So the gap’s actually gone out to a minute nearly a minute 30 now. So and there’s still some meters to go to the com here. We can see it. And this is from Oh yeah, it’s a blowite and banani. Uh Federico, you managed to outsprint fluite. Wow. Well, the team forber weren’t really interested in that one. So, maybe they’re going to be focusing on the on the intermediate sprint points. So, Amaly is doing her job translating everything we can. So, we see in the live chat. So, if you have any questions, just put them into the live chat. I’m I’m using a translator here, so you can write it in your native language if you like. Yeah. Yeah. We un we’ve got these great pictures here. We’ve got UAE at the front and we can’t we haven’t got any images obviously of Isla or Felix Shroudner because they they’ll be hiding in the pelaton saving their energy for the final and hopefully we’ll be able to we’ll be able to see them today in the final or I’m sure we will. Yeah, I’m sure we will. Isaac Toro is probably located in the third position behind the UAE train there. And we just crossed the to our mark 51k to go which leads us to a little bit of but that let us gives us the time to talk a little bit of uh the history we’ve had in San Juan Alpendor. Winner yes last year uh stage three was Diego Ulissi from I’ll keep it different UAE team Emirates. Then second Magnus Sheffield representing the United States from IO and Felix Grochartner was in third place. Then we had Adrian May from TDT Uniat and Rafael Ma also on the fifth place. So we’ve got a race prediction winner in the comments here. One commented Paul double from J Krula and 29y old from Great Britain came 11th in yesterday’s stage. So he was up there 12th mountain 12th position mountain classification of the chiro dital italia this year and he’s won a stage this year in the setima international copy 2.1 uci 2.1 stage the ruby so that will also be an interesting rider headlight I don’t need Wow. Good trophy. Fore trophies. So that was Andreas, former ski jumping icon representing Austria and he’s up there at Sanan Alberto already in the Finnish area watching for sure the actions of the athletes here in the tour of Austria. And it is a bit cold. He said it is a bit wet. He He said he is happy to just be a spectator today, but normally he’s also found on the bicycle, especially on the mountain bike because uh on Saturday there’s another huge uh race coming up, the Salz Kamagoot trophy. And there he is a part again. and he hopes or his fingers are for sure crossed for Felix Gartner here to take home another stage win and that will be the second stage win out of two stages so far. So we still have our five breakaway riders up front and they’re coming to the intermediate sprint now. Also, it also will be interesting if they’re going to sprint this one out or are they just going to ride over it and not really be interested in the points. The sprint is at 46.1K to go. And again, today we don’t really reach the high altitudes yet of the Austrian Alps. We’re seeing a replay here of the KOM sprint. Yeah, the fight between Alpitin Deco Coin and SC Padovani Jensen for Yensen Plide. It was a It looked like a normal sprint then. Yeah, another come. It’s a spring classification for him. Team Forber just sitting in the back. Let them do their thing and concentrate on the next case coming up. 48k to go. He said it already and like always the questions popping up where Alles Esper Espergo is. I think he’s in the Pelaton at the moment and if there are any Unibet rides at the front. No, they they are also in the Pelaton and no um UniTets TMA rockets up here at the front of the race. So the gap is around a minute now and we can see here UAE setting a high tempo at the front Jula team. Yeah and J Lulula as we see them already 2017 there was a win for an Australian Ben Okconor took home the win here on San Jan Alpendov and now we know where that leds him towards the tour with France having uh yeah stage five ITT can 21 position. So also some of the greatest pro cycling athletes took place here or took part here in the state tour of Austria. Simon Yates we already mentioned. Then we have Patrick Conrad, Patrick Gampo with stage wins at the tour def France or especially right now that one with the biggest uh success vita is probably or coming with the biggest success we Isaac del Toro with Jirro Ditalia. Yeah, definitely. And we’ve also got a lot of Isaac Del Toro fans here in the chat all asking where he is. Um I’m sure we’ll see a great showdown later on the final climb up to Santian opened off. Uh now there is the intermediate sprint coming up in Vakrin but uh the gap 1 minute we’ve seen it on the moto 1 minute 25 right now we are 1 minute and 4 seconds and they are forming themselves towards the sprint classification there you can see in the back the slopes of Vagrine there’s also the bike park located up there and in the Coming up for the sprint here. There we have the sprint classification. And this is again the fight between Alpitin and right now it was a Foster ATS Mikail Silasovski against Yansen Flowite. I think Yensen got this one there this time. Yeah, I think I a few deciding centimeters, but I I I think so too. That was uh one again for Alpetin de Coic. Yeah. So, there’ll be four two and one points there um handed out and also some bonus seconds, but I don’t think they’ll be very interesting for those riders as they’re not really in the GC contention. Um but maybe things change after that stage for them. That’s true. You never know. You never know. You never know. So, UAE again up front, EF Education, Easy Post, and again, Yulio Yonen. So, we have them here already at the spring classification, which uh yeah, the the gap is under under a minute right now. 55 seconds and 46k to go. And Tro KTM Cycling is cheering on the fans here. Yeah, I’m sure they’re loving it. Especially the the country team riders. They’re not they’re not necessarily used to having lots of fans on the side of the road cheering them on at the National League races. So, yeah, it’s lovely for them to be riding through the villages here in VR at the moment. Yeah, I guess I mentioned it already. Ysef Moore, the author of the world famous Christmas carol. Also, a priest is uh lying there on the cemetery. So, we’ve got a little climb to go before we hit the descent. And then we’ve got a gradual descent for quite a few kilometers actually for around yeah 20 25k. Yeah. Where we’ve just got a gradual descent of minus 2.5 – 1% gradient and then we’re going to hit the the final stretch of today’s race. And here you can see it right now on the area there in front and the lower section of the frame. You can see the four or the athletes in the breakaway and in the upper section of the frame there is the pelaton. There are the hunters. They’re trying to pull in the leash and yeah, swallow them. So, it’s not Yeah, that gap’s come down quite a bit quite quickly. Yeah. Um it’s not looking great for this breakaway. And looks like the Pelaton is going to close that gap within the next couple of K. And there you can see the speed of the Pelaton and the speed of the breakaway. I guess that’s not in the ne hundreds meters. I will predict right now. Yeah, that lovely seeing the young fans up riding next to their idols are really trying to keep up with the leading group or the two of them. So for young cycling sport uh is they are well prepared to maybe also be on the big stage in a few years. So we are heading into the final now and it’s going to get it quite exciting I reckon when if this breakaway gets caught then what the teams will do maybe the the cont teams like KTM to roll will try and attack or Rinkov Rinkov. Yeah. and they get caught straight a counterattack straight away maybe or they just uh like swallow them, take a little bit of time and then use that next little uphill to write an attack there. But when it comes to tactics here, Emily, you are the expert for it. Yeah, I reckon this this rakeway is going to get caught in the next 10k, I reckon. And and then there are two outcomes. One, there could be some counterattacks out of the pelon, but I’ve got a feeling that the the world teams won’t let any group go now because director of this This is we had just Andreas Proa snowboard pro here in Austria also uh always be part here of the race here and it is his home training track actually up to Sanjan Albendov and he just confirmed it that the finish stretch is one of a kind with 14.9% maxing out there so he is looking forward to see all those riders back here in or again here in San Juan Alpondo of right now 46 seconds EF education easy post and stiller on the front chasing this gap. Yeah. And there’s been a question um there is a K point at the final. It’s a cat 3 climb again. So we’ve got a intermediate sprint still to come and also a cat 3. So the intermediate sprint is with 12.9K and the cat 3 is at the finish line. and cap 3 means four uh six four and two points up for grabs. And the expected time at the moment of arrival is between 3:30 and 350. I’m leaning more towards the 3:30 time because speed up. We’ve got a high average at the moment and the gradient sinks now for a bit. So, a little downhill stretch to come. Coming towards Flow here and still 47 seconds ahead. You can see it in the very upper section. Yeah, that’s 45 seconds. 45 seconds right now. So they are holding it for the last that 45k we had 45 seconds. So they’ve held the gap. Um just using each inch of slipstream they can get from the motorbike there. But this breakaway um have been riding very well together and maybe maybe they can maybe they can stay out. You think we are 100k done right now? And yeah, right now it seems to be that they’re just uh trying to keep the gap like it is and not uh trying to close it. Here we have all those. Yeah, I think if they roll into the bottom of the final climb up to I opened off with a 50-second gap, I think the big favorites will be able to close that gap quite quickly on the climb itself. So we might have the situation that the pelatin just keeps this gap at 45 50 seconds and then they do a proper leadout train at the bottom of the final climb which is which is 2.7k long and the gradients at the bottom are around 7% and they ramp up to 14.8 in the final. So definitely steep enough spicy one. Definitely a spicy one and uh yeah well suited for punchy punchy riders 43. Now we have that that’s Patrick Conrad 46 on the side Paul Vermiaak from Little Trek and 93 also 97 Emanuel Tangale who was crowned most active rider yesterday is always somehow at the end of the pelaton for the last couple of cases but those two from team for are making a great effort to keep that gap open. Ah, some horses along the track. Yeah, lovely um Austrian villages we’re riding through today. Yeah, beautiful roads, perfect surface, and just nice villages. Typical Austrian villages. Yeah. Not just known for skiing or winter sports, also known for amazing racing. Whoa, that was also a close one. Now, let’s see how the Pelaton can manage that one. We got some little traffic islands here in between green ones. And now there are two wards. Yeah, we obviously started today in Bishop’s Ham where which is famous for its ski jumping hills for the four hills tournament and it’s called the Pa Shanta. Oh and obviously Primos Voglitch a former ski jumper. Yeah, he’s done quite well or he’s doing well in his cycling career and he also came from the ski jumping. Yeah, when we talk about uh athletes coming from other sports, Alles is probably a good example coming from Moto GP to cycling, but also his teammate Paul Vyak from Little Trek is normally an ski mountaineer with an Olympic qualification ticket already in his pocket in the mixed relay competition with his uh teammate Johan. So he will we will see him and her next year at the Olympic winter games. But right now win in summertime it is the perfect preparation for those competitions coming up uh in the next months for him. Also some athletes from mountain biking hamina uh here on the rope bikes on their way. Yeah, perfect cross trainining. A lot of the um ski mountaineers, but also crosscountry skiers, they’ve all got a very good endurance, very high V2 max, and that’s why they normally are also very quick on their bikes. We got uh someone say go Bugattacha. Oh, that would be nice to have him at the tour of Austria, but he’s unfortunately competing at the Tour of France. good in France. Yeah, he took the overall or is it leading the tour to France now in the GC classification had a very good time try yesterday. Yeah, but we’ve got Isak del Toro here and it seems like you guys are lots of big fans of Isak Toro. So, let’s hope to see see him maybe do something today in the final. Yeah, you can see Mexico um does have a huge uh cycling community. Yep. And yeah, it’s amazing. Right now there are nearly a thousand people watching our right now, but there were quite a few more we had yesterday. So still EF Education on the front just just keeping this gap small enough. I don’t think they would want to catch the breakaway too early because then it opens up for more opportunities for other people to attack out of the group. Um but each World Tour team of um EF Education and UAE have just put one rider on the front and they’re riding tempo at the front just not to let this break get too much of a a gap. Passing Atomic right now on the left side, famous for their pretty fast skis as you can see here putting up the skis, forming a little tunnel for the riders. Yeah, it’s great to see the spectators getting a bit creative, bit like to France vibes. Yeah, yesterday we had like Yeah. Porsche or Psterogal. There were some to the front swipes with campers parked next to the road and people cheering on and riding on and some nets for catching bidons. Yeah, fans always love getting bidons. Here we are going through it. We’ve got lots of Mexican fans here on the stream. Um Isako, he’s in the main pelaton at the moment saving his energy. A little counter ascent there after the flat and a bit downhill part. Here we have the Poton also crossing that spectator point right now. So which means it is not that far. It is not the far the gape is gap probably what do you think 1k two one and a halfk what the gap between the pelon and the I I would say it’s a couple of hundred meters cuz if they’re riding if they’ll be riding 60 km an hour then a minute would be a kilometer but I think they’ll be riding around 40 45k so maybe 7 800 meters okay the And obviously when they go uphill the the distance gets smaller but the time stays the same. So the team dynamics and UA memorates will be interesting as well cuz they did come here with two two main rider two main GCE riders maybe possibly three. Um yesterday obviously Felix Gartner took the win and there’s a tiny bit in the lead now but I think the GC will be decided on the big climbs coming up tomorrow and on Saturday and then with the final on Sunday. We started in upper Austria. Now we are in Salsburg for two stages. Then uh going to t-roll with the queen stage up to the cutout with two or categories in there. So the highest categories of the mountain classifications. And after that we step onto the train towards Felk in Forabburgg for the last for the last race and it’s going to be like a circuit race and even in Bonga we are back in Bonga. We have been in Tennena. We have been up there in Vagran Kleinal. And now here we are in Bonga towards Flaka. And then back to Bishop Hovven where we are able to see the riders again for another sprint classification. And then it’s going uphill. Yeah, pretty steep uphill. Yeah, the I think the final is going to be very interesting today. Starting from the intermediate sprint, maybe somebody will uh attack before the im intermediate sprint to get the points and they might have a little gap and they’ll be able to continue to get a bit of a head start on the on the final ramp of today’s stage 51. So again, if you have any questions, ask us in the chat or maybe write your predictions of today’s stage. Who’s going to take the win today? Yeah, also thanks for the compliment coming towards us. Uh we really do our best here to provide uh an outstanding cycling experience um with hopefully enough background informations for all you guys out there. Yeah. Again, the fans, the riders just um chucking their biddens away when they’re finished with them. and the the young fans always love to love to receive little gifts from the riders. Yeah, it remembers me on my early days. We had a sta stage final of the Chiro Italia in my hometown. That was amazing. Yeah. But right now those breakaway group are doing an incredible job and I guess we are really uh back there to yesterday’s situation cuz they have been out there for nearly 100k and we are right now uh 107k done. They started pretty early because we had the first mountain classification after um 18k and before that they already did that breakaway. So yeah, it’s getting close to 100 again. Yeah, it was an early break because we also had the first cat 3 mountain classification at 19.2k and the first intermediate sprint at 26.6k. Um, so yeah, this this brake’s been out here for quite a while and the gap is at 38 seconds. So let’s see how well the breakaways have fueled. Um, that will determine if they they’ll be able to keep this gap big enough to have a big enough advantage going into the final final climb. Um, another inter for England. Foreign speech. Foreign speech. Foreign speech. seat. Thank you. That was Alexander Manning, a former Austrian goalkeeper. He played actually in England 2016 FC Liverpool and he’s also there up there cheering for the riders and there was some interesting question he got um uh footballers compared to pro cycling athletes in terms of injuries and uh yeah toughness toughness uh I guess we uh keep it with that here and yeah also He like former goalkeeper of Austria Alexander Minga played by Liverpool and FC Aguburg Udin and many many more clubs also the VIPS are up there waiting for the heroes of today. So I’ve got a question. What our prediction of the or what we think the queen stage of the tour of Austria is? Uh I think in my opinion it has to be stage four where we where we’ve got the Coutai when we ride up to Coutai twice starting in Insbrook. We ride up first from the Katan side up to Coutai then we descend down to Tal and then we ride up to Coutai again up the bag. Yeah. It’s up to them. I think for me that’s the queen stage. How about you? For sure. That is that is for sure also. Yeah, for me also the queen stage. We got uh not that long of uh case but tons of elevation meters. So we have 117 but 3,500 m in elevation gain. And as I said before, we got two or categories uh one category one, one category three and uh also two sprint classification. So this is really going to be an deciding one also called the Coutai Rodeo. And for all of you guys that know where the Coutai is, you can go up there from a few different sites. Also known for the skiing area and also well known for uh high alitude training camps for the athletes for uh world two teams and pro teams like uh Anton Bala or currently is up there at the Kai from Red Bull Bahansa after his crash. trying to recover and trying to uh get back to his old and amazing form. That’s also going to be a challenge on the QTO stage where we have got a bit of high altitude. We’re riding at 2,000 m where we’ve got less oxygen. So, a bit of to France vibes again there. So, properly going to the high Alps. And the climb up to Coutai is quite a it’s quite a long one. The first the first time going up it’s around 1,400 m elevation gain over 20k or maybe a little bit more. And the second time is a steeper climb averaging around 10% for 10k a short descent and then the final couple of hundred vertical meters up to the finish. So that’s going to be a great final but we still got a a great stage ahead of us today. Yeah. And we’re not uh talking too much of the stages coming up because otherwise you guys already know what there is waiting for the athletes and you might not tune in anymore. So let’s keep it with stage number two of the 74th edition of the tour of Austria which is uh organized by the four uh continental teams here from Austria. It is Tiro Katium cycling. It is WSA KTM Gratz. Then we have team for Alber and Rinkov Advarics. Those are those four teams trying to keep that amazing race or stage race here in Austria alive. And so far they did an amazing job and with uh yeah beautiful pictures are delivered to us and for sure all around the globe. Yeah, it’s a beautiful sightseeing tour we’re getting through Austria here with amazing pictures. No bluebird sky, but maybe that will come later on in the week. But um Austria is obviously still beautiful on on a slightly grayer days, cloudier days. So the gap’s still at 37 seconds with 24k to go. So we’ve got around 12k to the intermediate sprint. So it’s still looking good for the breakaway, but the the world tour riders are definitely controlling it at the back. They’re pushing. They’re pushing. They uh closed the gap for about 20 seconds in the last few, but the last 20k that’s been quite constant around 35 45 seconds. Yeah. So 24ks uh 23ks to go and already 2 hours and 37 minutes in the game as you want to say that. So yeah and we’ve averaged 42.6 km an hour so far and we’ve still got Steinhauser on the front of the pelatin pushing. So, it’s definitely been EF Education and UAE Memor, but again, it is also Jo Lula uh here in the front with the whole team. Maybe they are trying to bring bring uh Gamper in a in a in a good position. Yeah, Jac Lula have always been the up there the whole team, the whole day being present. Um or uh even though probably more than Pato, it is Felix Angelhart. Yeah, Felix Anglehart I think could be a big favorite for today’s stage. So I reckon maybe a Felix Khatner is del Toro, Felix Angelhart, Ryan Archie from yesterday from yesterday. He did a great performance on the Porsche back. Um so yeah, we’ve got a tiny bit of a descending road now. You can see the nice river on the right hand side of the screen and it will be a fast faster descent down to the intermediate sprint in Bishop’s Hen An interesting rider for today I think could also be Marco. He did a very good performance at the on the under 23 championships uh last weekend in Henstein. It was a similar final actually uh with around 1.7 kilometers and 200 vertical meters and he closed quite a big gap actually to to win the race or to win the Austrian under 23 title. So he could also be a rider to watch from Terrell KTM. I thought he said earlier in the interview that the last case would be on his own and we do have another interview uh before we really step into the needed. Yeah, actually from Thomas from the Turo KTM of Austria. of Australia. foreign. So good for Foreign speech. Foreign speech. Foreign speech. The tour of sport. So Thomas poop. He he is more than happy with the tour so far. He said it was an incredible start yesterday and uh especially with the win of Felix Gartner and he is looking forward to see the those athletes on the like he said the small wall of Hoi. uh he always compares it a little bit to the classic fleshon uh where is the big wall of Huie and yeah everything is well prepared next year it is the 75th edition of the two of Austria and the pro teams like he said are a bit sweating because the Austrian continental teams are pushing really really hard here so far and it is a spicy tour of Austria with 713 13k and more than 14 13,000 m in elevation gain. And we also had the have the question about the last climb if it is a narrow road or positioning will be an issue. And while I was translating that interview, Amaly had a little zoom into it that is not that narrow. That’s for sure we can say uh like yesterday’s Porsche, but also uh it has a spicy turn be before it goes into the finish area. So positioning will be an issue, but not that important like yesterday on the start of the climb to Porsche. Yeah, I think it will still be important if you want if you’ve got stage ambitions to be at the front of the Pelaton because although the road is relatively wide, um it’s still a 2.7K climb, so not that long, but it does max out at 18 point uh 14.8% at the end. So, if you want to try and attack or try something on this climb, then you you’ve got to be at the front of the group. Um, as always really in these type of finals, if you if you want to get a good result, you’ve you’ve got to go into the climb at the beginning at the front and yeah, but I think this is going to be a great final as we’ve got 17k to go and the gap is still at 35 seconds. So, at the moment, still looking good for the breakaway. Yeah, they’re working really, really hard. that lorry we can see uh we seen earlier today uh which means we are again towards Bishop’s Hovven on our way towards the last sprint classification of today and now we have 27 seconds But so it’s still Steinhauser on the front setting the pace and we’ve got 4K to go to the intermediate sprint and then two 2 hours 44 minutes average speed still at 42.7 and the elevation to go are 373 m. So there’s still a bit of task to do to do for them. And yeah, here we are looking towards Bishop’s Hen. Here we have the Saltak I believe the river. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think so. So, that will be interesting what the team tactics will be. Will team for Alabak maybe try because they have got two men in this breakaway. Um maybe they will attack with one rider. Maybe Gare Daniel could go for the the sprint finish to get the points. or will this breakaway just keep working together, rolling through until they get to the final climb, which starts with around 3k to go to the finish. So, we’ve got around 12k to get there. Yensson Blowide had the little look back. We’ve seen it quite often uh yesterday, but that indicates always that they can feel something coming from behind. Yeah, definitely. And or also it could have been it could be some team tactics from Alps Indic that they’ve sent a rider up into the breakaway so that another rider from their team can attack from the pelaton and then they’ll have Yensen Pluite up there to help him for the final couple of kilometers. So that could also be some some good team tactics maybe. Yeah, but he is quite a bit of time in the breakaway and he is working uh pretty hard so far. So maybe he is uh not uh under tactic but on his own. Yeah, maybe he’s going for the stage on his own. Maybe has gotten the all clear from the team to go and try himself. But we’re coming into the final 2K before the intermediate sprint. Yeah, here we are in Oh, no. We’re coming up to it right now. It’s coming now. And it is again Yensen blow right going for the second. And it is again uh from ATS Foster. Yeah. And now they’ve got a gap. So now the question, will they continue riding? Uh it doesn’t look like they are. Doesn’t look like that. Team Foral is trying to close the gap. Oh carried on riding. The blow right carry on. Yeah. Oh, do we have here in a deciding moment or uh team for is trying really to close that gap. That is Alexander Connie Jeff. is trying to uh ride up to Yensen Blowide, but as you can see, 27 seconds. That’s uh not a lot of time for the next 13K and it is Yeah, we talked already quite a few times about it. It is a hard one, the last incredibly hard final today. So you’ve you’ve got to have enough power in your legs and have to be fresh enough at the bottom of this climb to make it up the the fastest today. But Jensen Florite, if he could if he can get a big enough gap on the breakaway now, it could be could be some interesting interesting racing coming onto the final climb. Yeah, right now XTS Astana in front with Jac Elula. So is also XDS aiming for a stage win here with Nikolai Vininourov. So he uh presented himself really strong yesterday and the group is back together at the front of the race. So Yensen Plites couldn’t manage to get away with his sneaky attack. That’s what happens quite often in in races when there when there’s an intermediate sprint from a breakaway that two or three riders get away and then they they keep working and they’ve already got a gap to the other riders. But in this case, this will come back together and they still got 26 seconds on the pelon. So they’re not allowed to start looking around now. They’ve just got to keep digging in and heads down and go for it. Yeah. And let it be decided on the final climb. And it is again going to be an intense one here. Again like yesterday on the last few case it was uh there were the deciding case for sure. 11 to go here. Um exiting uh Bishop’s Hovven going towards Sank Johan down low not up there Alendor. Yeah roughly 8K to go into the beginning of the climb. It’s going to be interesting final. Another four point for Yensen blow right. So 2 hours 50 that’s been underway and the average speed so far according to the statistics 46.5 46.5 which is very fast. So in that intermediate sprint, Plite Yensen won four points. Mik Celosski won two and Federico Gau got the one point there, which means three bonus seconds for Blow Ride, two for Silasovski and one for Federico. So we have one Austrian in the breakaway and well there the the trains have lined up here. Jake Lula is there. KTM Troll is also at the front the Conte team. That is Marco. Does that look like Pel could be but I would say um Marret will be in the pelaton at the moment not and saving his energy for the final climb. So there’s no point now really taking much fuel because you won’t have enough time to dig digest the fuel. So let’s hope that all the riders have had their caffeine gel and they’re ready for this final. Here we are able to see Marco in the orange jersey. Yeah. And Matthew Dodd at the front and we’ve got the Jac Lula train on the right hand side. Aana in the middle between KTM and Jacob. Then on the left hand side we have little track and also Benip is forming the train here in the on the top. So now they really have to dig deep here to close the gap. Yeah. And you see Tim Buffalo there just sitting on the now is in the middle. So there’s proper proper racing going on right now. Going on right now. And it’s going to be very tough, I think, for this breakaway to make it to the top of the climb because the pace is extremely high at the moment. I can see them leaning on the arrow bar. Yeah, super arrow from Tim Baffler. He’s obviously used to it from from track racing. Um or also team Forbake is forming here on the left side. Yeah, maybe for Emanuel Tang it’ll be but yet they have got two riders up the road. So but it looks like they might be caught cuz the gap is it’s at 21 with 8K to go. Ah that’s not they’re not going to No, they’re not going to keep it until the finish area. That’s my guess. Yeah. 25 seconds. 25 seconds. But you know the riders in the pelin, they have been saving their energy the whole day. And these riders up the front, they’ve had a extremely hard day in the wind for over 100k. And if you look back, you can already see the pel. This is going to be a hard fight. But look how fast that pelon is coming. And all organized the teams. So they’ll all have one rider they’ll be riding for in the team. And they’ll just be putting the hammer down now completely. They are going to be swallowed in any moments here. 10 seconds right up there on the screen. 14 seconds. Yeah. It’s always like jumping a little bit around there. Yeah. So, for anybody who’s just started watching, we have got a climb coming up, a final climb of 2.7K and 172 vertical meters, averaging 6.5%. And it maxes out at the top at 14.8. So it it gets steeper at the top. Um we’ve got a fiveman breakaway and they’ve been out there for 100k. 100k. Yeah. Over 100k. Right now there’s some uh discussions going on between EF and Aana. Um Jacob Luler. And then here we have on the other side UAE. Oh, they’re waiting there. There’s something going on. There’s a little bit hesitation in the chase here. There’s something going on there. And team Coupe Grabs is lining up on the right hand side as our fiveman breakaways. They’re still they’re still working well together. And they’ve got roughly 4k to go to the beginning of the Sanhan Alpor climb. Oh, that is going to be here. We are here. They are with the whole tour cross in the back. But they are not allowed to look back now those the breakaway riders cuz as soon as you see that the swamp of the pelaton coming then it might get a bit demotivating but it’s uh ATS Foster struggling a little bit here as team Fabag is increasing the tempo a little bit that was uh Mikuel Zillasovski and here we can see that Yeah, view towards the church of Sank Johan. 6K to go and Jensen Blowide is really putting putting the hammer down here and trying to get away a bit or trying to Oh, here we have Badani, Frederrico, Go and Mik Silasovski. That distance. There is the gap. And here we have 82 Pushek in the Pelaton from Rinkov Advarics. And there you can see even though it is the end of the pelaton, they are pretty fast. And there’s the attack of one of team forbear with their um that has to be I believe Alexander Corny Chef trying to get away a little bit here from Yansen Blowide but he is glued to the back wheel of Corny Jeff. Oh, they’re smiling. They’re still smiling those two. I think they’ve maybe accepted defeat because if the time is correct that we can see it’s only 8 seconds advantage they have got now but these two have managed to break away from their fiveman breakaway and yeah we can see UAE properly putting the hammer down again at the front now but there’s not not nothing going on right now they are just all waiting if someone out of the pelaton tries to attack them cuz if so then they need to be completely well prepared to send someone of their top GC contenders with them. It looks like they got a tiny little bit of tailwind now which will be helping the the two breakaway riders. But we are within the last 5k. So 2.3k to go to the beginning of the climb. touched a little bit those two. Uh let’s see if we can Oh, there they are. But still still a gap. Still it is still a gap. Still a little gap. It’s just a question of how much energy have they got left because they are both looking back now. No doubt. And it looks like that’s the moment. It looks like the break’s going to get caught just at the bottom of the climb. Oh yeah. Yeah. 4K to go. And what an amazing show they put on the instant blow ride on and Alexander Connie Jeff and also the others also Danny Gism also Mikuel Zelazovski and Frederrico Gao but now it is the moment where the train comes. Yeah and that train those doesn’t stop. Nope. Those trains are coming. The team trains you can see Grenaders as well for the first time today coming up to the front. Alperson coming on the right hand side. The UAE in the middle. Little track. This is going to be an exciting final climb. Oh, now it is. Everything is new right now. Everything is new. And we got a little bit of road furniture. Let’s hope everybody gets past that. Okay. And then we’ll turn on to the final climb. 3 hours here. 4K to go. So, we got a lefthander coming up here and these riders at the back, they won’t be contending for the stage victory. They’ll just be hope hoping to get to the finish safely. And you got to be in the top third of the Pelaton. Top 20 positions to get the front. EF again, UAE again. Yeah, UAE there with numbers. But Iners is uh bringing those in front. You see Felix Gartner there on the third wheel on on the wheel of his team teammate in the red jersey, the leader jersey of the Tour of Austria. Also there on the right, you can see Marco, the leading Austrian. Yeah. Wearing it for Felix Khatner. Yeah. And now we’re coming to the bottom of the climb. Here we have some attacks on the right hand side. It’s a little bit testing. It’s a little bit of testing, but there’s one trying to get away here with Yeah, two teammates uh from ATS Foster Rinkovarics right now using that opportunity and setting him up in front right now. Very good attack from him. He’s got 2k to go. So now now he’s got to pace his effort because he’s still got this climb. He’s still got the 150 m roughly in elevation to go. But they are struggling at the back and he has got a gap already. So what’s happening at the back? We can’t see much movement yet from the UAE team, but they are closing at EF Education. Yak Primoic is it and he is being brought back. Yeah. Yeah. Also, Jac Lula looks strong there. EF again. So, 2K to go. It is again. Whoa. Amily, I’m uh probably not able to sit anymore here on that chair because it is going to be an interesting one. It’s going to be a testing right now between all those world tour teams or pro teams and contams. But EF right now is setting a bit the tone here. Maybe they bring Rhachi up front. Maybe he’ll be able to do the same similar attack as he did yesterday on the Porsche. Um, and the gradients around 8 to 6 to 8% up here and then at the top they properly ramp up over 10% going up to 14.8. So the decisive attacks will come in a moment I reckon. Rach on the radio then maybe try to get his team organized. You can see Felix Karten at the front. Jacob Alula here maybe bring bringing Felix Angard into position and you can also see Isak El Toro there in the black jersey. The leading young classification and we have got an attack on the right hand side. Attack from a Unibet rider. Unibet rider. And they’re all looking at each other. So looking no one is trying to follow him, letting him go. Yeah, he has got a good gap there. 100 me. How about that? Now there’s the EF trying to close that gap here. But with it, we are in the final kilometer. Final K of that second stage. Uni Betat up front. Now the slopes are really going to start ramping up. Not much draft advantage when you get over 12%. So this is going to be a very interesting final. Is it going to be a sprint decision coming up here in a few moments? I it it’s because here we have the flam. It is right now the last K and EF education is trying to bring Ryan Archie or Yeah. Was he trying to go solo or he tried? Yeah. So now now the tempo is increasing at the back. We can see riders dropping off and a big attack coming here from a UAE rider going over the top of Uni Bet. Can’t quite see the numbers, but look how small the palaton is at the moment. Very exciting. So, which rider is this from UAE? Now, there is a huge gap. And now he just keep dancing on the paddles here to get to that stage. We’re in three hours and three minutes here. And here we have him from UAE right now in the frame. And he has got a good gap there. You can see from the aerial shots. Beautiful village. We are nearly at the top of Alpenov. We are within the last couple of hundred meters. And he has got a good gap, but we can’t quite see which driver. I guess it is Filipo Baroni. Okay. if I’ve seen it right. I don’t think it isn’t Micah because Micah is in the national jersey, but he has got 100 m, but it isn’t increasing. It’s staying pretty constant. I think I need Grenaders and 300 m to go. 300 m to go. And now we have that. He needs to keep Filipo Baroni. It is. Yes, it is going up. 40.9% ramp. 200 m to go. A big radiance. Oh, you can see it. And it’s looking very good for And the back is trying to But it’s looking good for Filipo. Philip. Oh, that’s Oh, that’s going to be close. Oh, it’s going to come close. And here we have Isaac Del Toro into the sprint. That is not Filipo Valentini. That is And Toro is also coming over the top. Oh, there was Isaac Delo. Isaac Toro got that stage win. Wow. Incredible. What a final. Wow. And the riders are just stopped at the top. It’s so wow. That was an incredible final. That was amazing. Isaac Del Toro won in the in the young classifications jersey. Holy smokes. Philippo Pini felt like thought he is the winner of today. And then there is I thought he was the winner. Then there is Isaac Terro on the and the Grenadier rider who was not rider but incredible ride from Isaac Del Toro. Didn’t see him the whole day and then he he sticks his Yeah. Estean Chavez also from EF was there. So, the ride is still coming through the finish line now. You could tell that it was here. Here we are. Isaac Delo just won that second stage here. He It was a predicted winner by you. Yep. By me. We got that right. We got that right. So, let’s look at the Here you have the slow motion. Wow. Isaac Inos. Here we are. UAE again. Felix Grochartner also lik also. I think it might have been August. Andrew came second over the line. I’m not quite sure about that, but first place for Ector Alvarez second and August came second. Also a very good ride from the young rider. But what an exciting final that was. What a final again in that stage. Everything was in it. Yeah. Long breakaway. We got rain at the beginning. We got some intense sprint classification in intense mountain classification and then Isaac Del Toro second GC Jro Ditalia 2025 just took home another win for UAE. And here you can see it. Alvarez in third position. Gartner fourth position. Alessandro Corvi fifth position. Felix Anglart also sixth position. Jacula. Then we have Victor Langelotti. Marin Bzinski from Ryan Archie again top 10. and Anton Charming from Astana in the 10th position. So again, three UAE riders, two from Inos, one little track, one Juula, one EF at occasion, but also very a very strong finish from Andrew August, the 19year-old from America. So we have the GC classification. And Felix goes out stays in the leading jersey. Rafael Michael Ryan Archie 12 seconds. Isaac Del Toro 16 seconds. Then we have Hector Alvarez with 22 seconds delay. Felix Angelhard stays with the 26 seconds. And yeah, Leonard Kea also from Germany 26 and Keian Furen. This is going to be a very interesting fight for the general classification. And you got three riders in the top four after stage two. Here we have it one more time. That amazing finish by Isaac Del Toro with a good bike length ahead of August Andrew and Alvarez. Wow. Wow. Against Felix Gartner. Came in with some speed then. Oh, amazing. Incredible final and amazing how it just ramped up at the end. You could just see when the the riders stopped their effort, they were they were just they just stopped dead. Done. And it was done. Day done. Work day done for our 135 something athletes here at the Tour of Austria. Another 60k done. There’s still a few hundreds waiting and final riders just coming into the finish line. Now the ones who aren’t competing for the general classification will just be really bringing it home today within the time limit and preparing for tomorrow’s stage. Now recovery here we have Felix Khatner. Yeah, Alvarez to then blow right. You can see here again cycling sport on the highest level here in Austria. Amazing performance from the Conti teams from the Austrian conte teams also and for sure how could it be different UAE as the that yeah predict winning predicted team. Yeah. And we also had Marcus the Austrian for KTM in 14th position. 14th position. Martin Messa from Austria in uh 16th position. Esteban Chavez also 20 in the 20th place at Invest. The best conte rider of today’s stage was eighth place. As far as Putinsky from ATMs, it’s also a solid ride from him to get in the top 10 with all those road tour riders. One more time. You can see Sankhan Alpenov 16th time stage finish so far and yeah since Diego Ulissi, Jonathan Nalvarez and Ben Okconor Isaac Del Toro can write his name into the story of the tour of Austria 2025 with a stage win here with a amazing fight up there the last few meters with a gradient of 14.9%. Yeah. So that was one of a kind. Incredible. Here you see the attack. I thought it was I thought it was done when when I guess he fought it all. Cuz at 100 meters to go, you still had a a nice gap, but they they came with Yeah. Look, it’s 75 m to go. You’re still ahead. And then the powerhouse of Isako Toro just just came over the top of him. Just snapped here. Snapped it away from him. Yeah. Unbelievable. Beautiful helicopter views we can see here from the finishing area opened off. But yeah, that was a great final. That was a great final. One more time. Bluebird. Yeah, we do have bluebird. We started with rain. You can see it in the very Yeah. Down the valley, that bigger uh city. That was the starting the start point. It was Bishop’s Ham. Then we went over to the Tenang. Then we were in Vakr. We were in Flaka. We were in Alimar. And then back to the Bonga. And then up there to that amazing scenery. Yeah. An amazing final climb. I love that final. Yeah. And I guess uh a few of the riders may uh hop into those many many pools you we were able to see here. Yeah, I think they’ll be heading back to the team bus now having a short spin. I can see also Thomas Pop here and Stefan Amalini, race director uh in the sport section. So I think they will still be waiting for the last couple of riders to come through. They’ve got 12 15 seconds today of the winner’s time to get to the finish line so they can start tomorrow. So, if you guys have any more questions, don’t hesitate to write anything into the comments. We are waiting for the interviews of today’s stage winner, Isak Toro. So our uh Sophie Gashki is maybe on their way to catch Isaac Detoro or Felix Brochartner or many many more hopefully to get some insights how that stage uh really was for them. and we can talk maybe use that little time here to talk about tomorrow stage. It is uh Saltsburg Gisburg and we’re starting at probably 12:00 with the stream and it is also an intense one with 142.9K with more than 2,700 m in elevation gain and also some category one uh mountain classifications in it. But in total there are four of it. It is going to be I would say in a architecture wise way the most beautiful stage coming up of the tour of Austria. It also called rockme Amadeos. All of us know who Amad Wolf Gang Amario Moad was and Sidsburg is known for his residency back in the days. Yeah, it’s for sure going to be a beautiful ride to the final climb and it’s going to be a spicy one tomorrow. It’s quite a long climb up to Gber around 600 vertical meters. So maybe it’s not going to be one for the punchy riders. It will be maybe a GC definitely will be a GC day tomorrow. And there are also some Austrian locals there who pretty uh well yeah actually knows every uh part of the track. There’ll be some local training roads some of the Austrian riders and we’ve got four Cat 3 climbs tomorrow and one cat one with three intermediate sprints. That’s definitely going to be a full-on day of racing and I think very interesting one. Very interesting one. So I can stage classification Mexico. Isaac del Toro Romero. Andrew August representing the United States came second today. Then Eto Alvarez Spain. Isaac. Congrats to this full minute win. How are you feeling right now? I feel quite good honestly to be back here with the team with the guys. The atmosphere is super nice and yeah I don’t know it’s uh still dreaming. Second stage second win for UAE and you’re still the leader with Felix Rosna. What’s the plan for tomorrow? Uh we try to keep the leader and why not try to make the gap bigger. Thank you. So that’s doesn’t need any translation. And Isaac The Toro still a bit in a dream here and ready for a fight tomorrow as well. It’ll be interesting to see the UAE tactics tomorrow. See how they’ll race the whole stage in the final climb, but I think they’ll definitely want to increase their lead on the GC with Kstratnner or Isakto or Michael M. Michael. So, not just to stick with UAE, we also got like Ecto Alvarez from Little Track, Archie, Ryan, EF Education. Yeah. Um, yeah. Also, Andrea August for Yeah. And the best little track rider, um, Alvarez Hector. So, this is the start in the wet the highlights of today. Wet start. heading into beautiful sunny weather and they’re attacked right away at the beginning. A big fight again to get into the breakaway for the first cat three time of the day. Yeah, that was that first sprint classification for Yensen low rides. 87 88 going down. What’s up now? We are back with those six men strong also beautiful here. Yeah, had a really strong breakaway. They worked well together the whole day, five riders. They made it interesting at the final. We weren’t quite sure if they were going to make it to the bottom of the climb or if there before the sign gives you that was the best caption of today for sure. And they’re sprinting it out for all the points today. My name the intermediate spring classification train on the way to catch them and the road spread up and the gap came down then the gap came down. Yeah, but that’s for sure. They did have 2 minutes 30 at one point and that came down to 30 seconds. was around 30 seconds for 30k. Yeah, that’s the moment they exactly knew what is going to happen in the next moment and here we are. My accepted defeat got swallowed. Fasting by in a man game here in that part started. And you have forini very good trying to get away. And you can see right now the gap that really opened up for Kubo Bchini on the last meters. But Andrew August seems to at first secured that win. But there’s one not on the list. He was on the list for sure, but he was not often seen here at that stage. Isak del Torto. Yeah. So, Felix Gardner is still leading the tour of Austria after stage two. Yeah. tour of Austria. Meet for am on tour of Austria in Heat. Hey, Heat.
