I’m cycling 1,400 mi from Lithuania back to UK to build insurance and raised funds for the cats. Here’s how day one went. It started strong. I volunteered at one and only the best park run in the world, Mingus Park. Run directing for the second time. One honor. Then I got back, packed, and got a bit carried away with a good buy and garden party. Left 3 hours late, and well, that turned out to be a mistake. There was a slight incline, and I immediately started questioning all my choices. I just left and I’m already tired and it’s bloody hot and it’s a slightly sec I’m already dying. With the help of some lovely cyclist, I managed to escape Verness. Trying to get the slipstream from the cyclist in front of me. Stopped in traffic to see my cousins and say goodbye to my mom again. 25 miles in. We’re still going strong. Very nice views. very Lithuanian like nature. Well, it’s still Lithuania, so it’s Lithuanian nature. Look at that. The beautiful nature of Lithuania with these little babies. [Music] Lunch break. More like a questionable snack. Someone selling a lake. Maybe I should buy one. That’s bread growing. [Music] That’s cool. A lot of bread growing. That’s very cool. This looks fun right now. I’m not looking forward to that muddy hill. Oh man, someone said we don’t have cows in Lithuania, so we’re very good. We do this before. Bristol was almost better than the Bristol Balloon Festival. [Music] Baby, [Music] and then everything hit me. bad roads, darkness, tiredness. I just wanted to go home and never do this again. After some time, road got a bit better, but it was getting darker and darker. I honestly didn’t think I would make it, but I did. And this is what £15 a night gets you in Maria. I’ve never been so happy to see a bed in my life. Day one done. See you on day two. Heaven. He
