New project bike I picked up on marketplace ( little story below 👇)

I posted in this sub a few weeks ago sharing that I recently built up my 1990 miyata trail runner. Unfortunately the frame is compromised by an issue where the chain stay and bottom bracket meet, it is no longer safe to ride 🙁

So I started searching through local marketplace’s and found this 1990 specialized stumpjumper. I got it for 85 dollars, later that day I fully stripped the bike down to just the frame and got started on the rebuilt. I couldn’t be happier with how the bike rides. I see why these old specialized are all the rage.

I’ll make another post when I throw some more upgrades at it, if people are interested!
