Just to share my experiance,
Orginally ran on apex 1, with 24 mm spindle.
Wanted to upgrade with apex power meter which works wit 28.99 mm dub
What i have done,
Exchange support with sram dub bsa 68 mm
Bought right crank arm from apex dub 1x with 42T
Left crank with power meter apex dub,
Sram spacers 2.5 mm and 5.5 mm
Results,
New apex dub wide front cranks with power meter (built for 1×12 but works with 1×11 / changed q factor from 145 mm to 150 mm)
Chainline changed 2.5 mm, no negative impact.
