Maternity run!
I’m the proud father of two little hairy monkeys…
We had various appointments on that journey (and since) at both the Leicester General Hospital and Leicester Royal.
That’s one of the many reasons I’m more than happy to give some time to support the NHS (National Health Service for those of you’re not in the UK).
A frequent, as well as particularly satisfying run for the blood bikes, is the call to run things between the two main maternity wards.
This is one of those calls taking things between the Leicester Royal, in the city centre and Leicester General on the eastern edge of the city. There isn’t really a main road that goes between the two – the quickest route takes in some busy parts of the city and are ideal for a bike!
