e [Music] hi guys p c here today I am on this very lovely I’m sure you will agree Yamaha M9 s P which I very kindly got on loan from Mo’s motorcycles in Hamil Hemstead um and I was going to take you for a ride with me so come on grab your kit let’s [Music] go hi guys biker C here thank you very much for joining me on my ride today today I am on a yamar mt09 SP which I very kindly have on loan from Moors motorcycles in h Hemstead and I thought I’d take you guys for a ride with me so you can see what this beauty is like so this is the Yamaha CP3 engine so it’s the 890 and it’s got 119 BHP and weighs 1079 I believe it is it’s a quite a light bike got a lot of power and the light bike so power to weight ratio is good oh my goodness it is fun to ride really nice very smooth it’s got a quick shifter on it which is probably one of the smoothest I’ve used so effortless oh feels really nice it’s got fully adjustable front and rear suspension and raino brakes front and rear and oens um so this has three modes so you’ve got the Rain Street and sport mode which are adjustable within those settings for traction control braking anti- Wheeling um and there’s also on the SP there a track mode so you can set this up to four different suits four different tracks depending on obviously which one you’re on um and also for track when you’re on the track you can turn off the rear ABS see you could have some real fun on this bike it’s very very smooth really like it and it’s just so easy to ride just and I wish you could see under my helmet I’m just grinning love the way this bike makes me feel so comfortable the seat height is 825 which is all right I’m not on tiptoes but I’m not far off um but it’s not a problem cuz it the weight and as well makes it quite easy to move really like the riding position fairly upright very comfortable [Music] [Music] what I absolutely love about this bike is self caning indicators I love them I just wish my bikes had these so they’ve got the soft touch so you gently touch the indicator they’ll come on for three flashes so good if you’re changing Lane on a Motorway or touch it proper touch um and then it will stay on for 15 seconds after you’ve done a junction or 150 yards and if they don’t go off for whatever reason just touch the indicator again that’s a revolution for me definitely need them all bikes should have them the quick shifter oh I love it it’s so smooth makes you not want to go back to not having one got the battle ax TI on there from Bridgestone which nice ripping to the road nicely but it is hot and sticky so not sure what they’d be like in the rain but certainly today they fun nice you hear that noise oh guys honestly get a test ride I think you’ll be as surprised as I am just how lovely this bike is does everything just perfectly nicely smoothly gives you the confidence you want from a bike that it will do all those things for you as it should be oh this is so much fun oh this is wicked so effortless to take it back to you the very long way and probably with not much petol left I but I’ll catch you guys later see you so I stopped on my ride out to give you an up close and personal look of the Yamaha m09 SP which I very kindly got on loan from Mo’s motorcycles so I can show you a bit more up close and personal so this is yamaha’s CP3 engine and it’s 899 CC and it’s pushing out 119 BHP so the power is 872 Kow at 10,000 RPM giving you torque of 93 newon m at 7,000 RPM and it weighs 193 kilos so power to8 ratio it’s a wicked little H bike it’s so so light it’s so Nimble um but a lot of power and it’s really light I’m I’m really liking it it feels nice it looks amazing I’m loving the blue accents on this really really striking blue hopefully you can see it see what I mean with the the colors there so you’ve got the raino brakes you’ve got fully adjustable front and rear suspension the oins there as you can see um and it’s got a back slip regulator which offers stabilization when the rear wheel locks under excessive braking and it does this by controlling the level of torque produced so it’s um it’s quite intuitive does a lot of thinking for you um youve got the this is the onoff here see see the button here you don’t have a key as such You’ got a fob that you pop in your pocket so you literally just switch that around and then you be a to see that coming into place so there’s your 5 in TFT screen and you can see you’ve got what you need on there the gear you’re in your revs speed um you see your modes here so this is in street at the moment it’s got rain and it’s also got sport um now with the SP you you’ve also got track modes on this so you can customize with four extra patterns to suit suit certain track scenarios and also with the option of two engine brake management settings uh and you can also turn off the rear ABS when you’re on a track so you can really go to town on this and make it a full track bike if you wanted so you can set up the suspension the traction control um within those settings you’ve got traction control slide control front wheel lift system brake control setting so you can set up all those within those modes to really suit the bike and you as well um it’s got a um cruise control which you use set here so you press that and then you set it on there um you got your self-cancelling indicators so if you do a light touch it’ll flash three times so if you’re changing lanes on Motorway for example or for a longer flash hold it down longer um and once you’ve made the turn it stays on for 15 seconds once you pressed it or 150 M after you’ve made the ter whichever happens quicker um so there’s the Once you turn it on that’s the start there and you change the modes here so you can do that whilst riding along just have to take let off the throttle to do that adjustable levers which is Handy for those of us with little hands so if I just start it up for you doesn’t that sound good I like that I wonder if you can you must be able to change the exhaust put a different exhaust on I might have to do that just um just because you know I like noisy exhausts um I’d have to put a tail tidy on but that’s standard with all new bikes um and I probably see if I can get a seat Cal because I don’t take plion so I would put a seat cow on and take off the rear pegs other than that you’re pretty much good to go you don’t really need to do anything on this um except ride it and have a bit of fun really nice ni ride nice riding position uh pegs are a nice height um so that’s it I hope you’ve enjoyed your up
