This bus tour starts off in Nice & headphones are included with the tour. You pass by the iconic Chanteder hotel which has had previous guests such as Grace Kelly, Louis Armstrong & Michael Jackson. The hotel has over 6000 works of art inside. We then pass the main train station & shopping centre. The old 1931 art deco post office. The building in this area are stunning as we take the outstanding drive through Nice with views of the seafront. We then pass Elton John’s home as we make our way to Villefranche Sur-Mer & pass the famous castle overlooking the harbour.
We then drive back to Nice in the rain ☔️
I would highly recommend this tour but do watch yourself if sitting upstairs as your head does come close to the tree branches so do not stand up!
When we arrive back to Nice we take a nice talk along the beachfront, don’t forget that most restaurants close around 2pm until 6:30-7:30pm. We head for happy hour at Blast & then take a walk to the I Love Nice sign. I had a lovely free picture taken at the sign & it was a nice surprise that we seen some cyclists of The Tour De France taking a picture opportunity at the sign which was also done up with bikes next to the sign and a countdown to the race start.
The sunshine then managed to show itself as we walked back down to a beach bar called Opéro plage.
