He’s already won it three times. He’s already conquered multiple races, including the Jurro Italia and wearing the rainbow jersey. And he’s shown this year that he can master the cobblestones, gravel, the Aransens, and even the Alps. So why does it feel like Tarabacha is just getting started? Because in 2025, he hasn’t just come back to defend his Tour to France title from last year. He’s back to destroy any lingering doubt, silence any critic, and stamp his authority on an era that once looked like it might slip away from his grasp. This isn’t just a story of a young champion trying to rise. This is the story of a champion who already rose, fell, and is now rising again, stronger, smarter, more terrifying than ever. And if his season so far is any indication, the rest of the pelaton should be very, very worried. They thought they had figured Pagata out after back-to- back tour to France victories in 2020 and 2021. Tarbaga was supposed to dominate for a decade, but cycling is cruel, ruthless in exposing weaknesses. And in 2022 and 2023, Yusing did just that with the help of his team. He cracked the invincible smile and proved that even Pagatcha could bleed. For two summers, the yellow jersey was out of reach when it came to Paris for Tata Pagatcha. The narrative shifted. Perhaps Pagatcha was too impulsive, too aggressive, didn’t know how to fight against a stronger team. Perhaps his best was behind him was what people were already saying. Then came 2024. After a bold and controversial announcement that he was going to attempt the Jurro Tour double, he won the Jurro with flare and taking many stages along the way in a very dominant fashion. And then he returned to the tour to France here, equally dominant, if not more so, winning six stages along the way. It wasn’t just a redemption arc, it was a resurrection. The doubters fell silent. The throne was his again. But for Pikacha, reclaiming the throne wasn’t enough. He even hinted at the winning podium that he would be going for the world championship title as well. And he did just that in Zurich, winning after a thunderous 100 km attack. And in 2025, he isn’t defending a title. He’s hunting for more legacy from the first pedal strokes of the new season. It has been clear that something is different. Not just and dawning that world champions jersey. Maybe that has incentivized him a bit more. There’s a focus in his eyes, a sharpness to his tactics. He began the year with a clinical win at the UAE tour. Cool, controlled, untouchable on the climbs and then followed up at Strata Bianke where he didn’t attack as far out as he did the year before. Chaos did strike him as he crashed mid race, but he remounted, chased down Tom Peacock like a man possessed and managed to drop the Yorkshire and soloed to the finish. It was a moment that told the world just how strong he actually was. Milan Sanromo brought more fire. He launched an audacious attack on the tripressa. Something few dare even attempt. And only Machu Vanipol had the legs to follow. Though victory slipped through his fingers, a podium against some of the world’s best riders only confirmed the danger he possessed. It was a warning he was just warming up. At the Tour of Fllanders, Pagatcha silenced even his boldest critics. With all eyes on Vanderpool, the defending champion, it was Pagatcha who dictated the terms. He rode away from everyone and sealed his second title with authority and proved once more he’s not just a climber. He’s a master of all terrain that was really challenged at his first Par Bay that he had hinted that he might try. It was his debut here in the hell of the north where experience counts more than form. But Pagatcha was fearless. He danced across the cobbles like a veteran. Stayed with every selection. And even a crash and mechanical couldn’t derail him. Despite the win slipping away, he still finished an impressive second place in only his first attempt against the best in the world, Macho. It was less about the result and more about the revelation that there were simply no limits left to this man. When the Pelaton turned towards the hills of Dardens, Pagata sharpened his claws at the Amster Gold. He attacked early, recalibrated after being reeled in and finished second in a chaotic sprint, beaten only by inches. At Flesh Filon, he looked untouchable, launching in the bad weather, trademark acceleration of the murder and never looking back. At least there was no hesitation. He attacked hard and early. Nobody could respond. He reclaimed the monument like it belonged to him because in truth, it definitely does. Then came a brief break for him in racing sense, training in altitude, getting ready for the mountains. And by the time he lined up for the criterium dudany with a fairly weak climbing team by UAE standard, the picture was becoming clear. Paga wasn’t just racing into form. He was already in form. He won the opening stage in a dramatic sprint, animated the race throughout and showed a brief vulnerability in the time trial, losing time to Yonis Wvingle and Remco Venopol. It wasn’t weakness, it was probably the setup. In the mountains, he hit back drastically. On one stage, UAE set him up perfectly and he obliterated the rivals. On another, when isolated and outnumbered by Visma Lisa bike, he decided he would attack solo 12 km out and still cross the line first. In the final showdown with Bingor, he marked every move, stayed glued to his wheel and sealed the overall victory and letting the Dne pass him to get the second place. This was also Tadagata’s first criterium duden title to his name. That matters because it wasn’t just a win. It was a psychological war affair. Ving came to test him. Instead, he left with answers he didn’t want. Visma tried many tricks in the books, but Pugatcha had the answers for all of them. And when we look back to the time Jonas Bingo has defeated Tadagata at the Tour of France in 2022 and 2023, there are maybe answers to why Tadagata wasn’t the strongest on those times. In 2022, the DNE was surrounded by a very strong team that even included Primos Rugglitch, a leader in his own right, and they managed to isolate the Slovenian and team up against him. But now in 2025, he has a far stronger team than he had back then with the likes of Almeida, Adam Yates, and Pavlikov. Some of them could be GC leaders in their own right. Take Jouah Almeida for instance. He dominated most of the races he’s been in in 2025 and even beat Yonis Vingle to a stage win in Paris Nice and also sealed the double of winning the Tortody and the Tortois Swiss which is quite impressive. Adam Yates we know is a formidable strong rider and has finished on the podium together with Tadaga in the past and Pavl Civikov really showed how strong he is as well and the new boy of Jonathan Nias will be very good in the medium mountain stages. The second time he lost out to Yonis Vingo was in 2023, but that has the asterisk that he was coming in with not the ideal preparation after breaking his wrist in the leash bastan lege and that taking time to heal. So, Pagachius 2025 has shown something we haven’t seen before. Restraint. The emotional all-in attacker of the past is now colder, smarter, and more calculated. He knows when to hold back, when to strike, and how to conserve his energy. He hasn’t lost his flare. He’s simply added maturity to it. And that team around him as well with the likes of the heavier guys of Nils Polllet will really be strong for him as well. And the climbing force is absolutely second to none for the UAE Marits. The route for 2025 only amplifies his advantage. This year’s parkour plays to his strengths. explosive finishes, steep hills, tactical stages where versatility and timing matter more than grinding wattage and Pagatcha could even be wearing the yellow jersey by the end of the first week as there are plenty of stages with characteristics that suit him. Just look at Murder Bratana where he finished second last time it was here. The early time trial won’t define the race either. But the high mountains in the final week plus he will want to avenge his weakness he showed to Bingol on the Horiccom and the Monmon 2 and both of these clims are in the tour of France this year. And in that terrain with his form with the spire there is no one more dangerous right now. And having Almeida on his side will be lethal for the competition. Pagata has already won the tour of France three times. He’s already proven himself on every kind of road against every kind of rival. But this July, he’s not just defending a title. He’s chasing more greatness, hoping to join Chris Froom with four titles and get ever closer to Mark Camdes stage winning record and become the first world champion to win the tour of France since Bernardino, which would be absolutely impressive. Paga won’t be defeated by shorter cranks. He won’t be defeated by tactics. He has the team to answer any question thrown by his rivals. So, Pagatcha will for sure win this race unless something miraculous happens. Then, I don’t see him not taking the crown when we get to Paris. Because this isn’t a comeback story anymore. This is the reign of a king restored, ruthless, and ready to write history once more. But with that, that’s basically it for this video. But make sure to hit the like button, subscribe to the channel, and let me know down below if you think Tadagacha is on on for winning this year’s Tour to France. But as always, thank you for watching, and I will see you in the next one.

You already know he's my pick win loose or draw
He won’t win, his luck will run out in the first week. Watch this space.
because he's the best rider in the world. there, saved you 10 minutes of your life.
He's coming in hot for sure.
Poggi will win because he has Mauro Gianetti as team chef and we all know riders of Gianetti Teams are a special breed
Barring injury or illness, it's Pog.
Great video! I agree 💯! He just needs to be safe, and he will get it done 2025!
Pogacar has increased cycling's audience. Many people watch the races because he's there; he's the cyclist with the most fans in the world. Many people want to see him win.
Pogi with the best team is unfair. At least when Jonas had the better team we could see upsets
Great video montage and the story, too. Well done, indeed!
Pogi is huge favorite, but lets see in the third week. Vingegaard recover better than Pogi, so lets hope it is not over before that.
He is a disrespectful a..hole, not a cyclist
I know the real reason
CORRECTION 🚴🏾🚴🏾LeMond as well as Hinault….In 1990, Greg LeMond won the Tour de France while holding the Rainbow Jersey as World Champion from 1989.
Does Pog suffer more in extreme heat? If an extreme heatwave hits France in the final two Weeks it might possibly effect him more than others. Only something out of his control will stop him this Year I reckon.
Flanders-another example how quickly Pog learns and adapts. After that one loss vs Mathieu, the next two times he absolutely destroyed him and this year was a tactical masterclass. The only race he still cannot win is San Remo. But he will.
I’m not sure there were really doubters during the years he didn’t win the tour. I think last year he was so much more dominant than in the past which made him look like a big comeback. He’s always been a top rider since he joined the world tour.
Yeah man ! You're perfectly right ! He already said that for the first 10 days they must to keep it calm and protect themselves from any bad incidents , those were Tadej's words . I've saw the Visma interview posted today on Youtube and … bla-bla -bla , They throw more excuses for Jonas … lots of them . On of them is that Jonas didn't have the weight necessary and now he has it and that weight is only muscle . Oh man ! It takes more than muscles to beat someone smart and more powerful than any of them ! God protect Tadej and his team ! There are so many stages looking so close to the classics and monuments that will put only 2 or maybe 3 riders into play : Vand Der Poel , Tadej and perhaps Van Aert . They forget, team visma , the main thing : Tadej will play only his way and that is for more of them : the unpredictable . IF anyone re-watches the races where Tadej was , statistically , he did attack when the time was right not chaotic . This riding intelligence of his keeps him number one and brings him victories . And , yes , you're right , and I've already said it : The real Tadej was shown this year in Strade Bianche ridding like a"mad man" you've said . Nope, that was his real true power and , yes , that was scary , I guess , for all of the participants or for any cyclist who saw that incredible performance . Yes and yes ! I would love to see Tadej Pogacar winning the Tour de France now as a champion of the world . He deserve this . And , if is not much from my regard , I wish him to win more than 6 stages . Why ? Be cause : HE CAN DO IT ! Like, UAE sportive director said last year in that audio transmission in the 3-rd week of the Tour . You can do it Tadej ! Good speed !!! Cheers mate ! Thank you for this sincere analysis and for your strong arguments that are sustaining your affirmations . Love it !
Did Greg Lemond win the tour as world champion in 1990?
He will fall in week 3 and on time trials. Lets go Vingegaard.
Pogačar is aiming to win four consecutive Tours in the rainbow jersey.
Did Scott actually manage to make it through a Pogačar video without mentioning 'the curse of the rainbow jersey', or did I miss something?
Great video
Jonas is peaking at the right time and will win his 3rd TDF. He was 2nd place last year as a disabled person. Dauphine is a cover up to give the world and Pogacar false hope, and give a higher impact on Tadej's upcoming TDF loss.
A crash or sickness isn't "miraculous" as they certainly can happen.
Jonas can’t do much, he is just that great
Unless something happens, like a crash, Pogacar will win, Jonas will make him work for it though. I hope they both stay safe and make it a great battle. I can’t wait to watch.
he reminds me very much on lance armstrong. no one had doubts in him…
Pogi the dopi will win, he's on some next level juice 🎉
his team is better. next video plz
even as a dane who ofc hopes jonas somehow pulls it off., you can do nothing else than enjoy watching this guy crush race after race year in year out.
Now hes trained his body to accept a lot of carbs per hour then bonking shoukd be a thing of the past
Obvious, drugs)
He certainly is a remarkable young man 🎉
