You said in the past that the tour to France wasn’t always your favorite race. If you made a pakura for the tour to France, would it be like the this one and especially the first 10 days Vanderpool and Patcha left, right, Machi Vanderpool wins stage two? Yeah, for sure. Uh there’s uh some opportunities. So many people had said that Vanderpool would win stage two and he delivers. Alpacas Kernik win two stages in two days. What could you tell about the chance to get the yellow jersey perhaps on Saturday? Is it going to be a dream yellow jersey? It is. Yeah, of course the double jersey is the objective. It was a really long time uh since I’ve won a stage on the tour, but I guess it was worth the wait. Do you think is stronger Jonathan Milan or Tim Merier? Whoa, there’s a big fight here. Jonathan Milan and Binium Germay going shoulder to shoulder. They are really strong, really fast. Milan and Germay a massive argument. We just have some small contact and yeah, I think that’s why he’s a bit angry. I was a bit surprised about this uh this movements. But after the moment, he understand. he came and apologized and for both a stressful moment and uh the moment everything is okay. So we we tried to do a nice sprint um hopefully for another successful day. 178 km for the fast men to shine. While there’s a return to Mon Castell early and crosswinds looming, Dunkirk still awaits a bunch sprint. Inos rear wheel. Rear wheel for Axel. Another puncture for one of the Inos Grenaders. Can’t believe how many punctures there have been on this stretch of road. Okay guys, uh just have a quick check on your tires. It looks like uh there might have been someone in the road back there. There’s maybe 10 riders approaching in the last few hundred meters. [Music] [Music] is Marco is there 20 km from the start and there is already without rain [Music] opposite Dernik with both yellow and green jerseys. Vanderpole the tour leader aiming to return it to teammate Philipsson. Their team active at the front with Sudel quickstep not wanting to misstep as on stage one in service of Tim Miller. A stage to put your feet up. No breakaway formed but no rain either. An average of nearly 40 km an hour. The Pelton entered the final 100 km but things likely to heat up the intermediate sprint in Eastburg just over 30 km up the road. for Simon and Johnny. They will take care of the intermediate sprint. And the sprint now starts on the left hand side as Philipsson’s leadout train tried to bring him up onto the wheel of Jonathan Milan. Kaden Groves is the rider who’s Oh, Philipsson crashes. The green jersey is down. Jonathan Milan goes through now. He wins the sprint. But behind, we hope that Yasper Phillipsson is okay. Philips. Oh, that’s not good news. Philips to abandon. I guess he has a broken collar bone or something. Philips to abandon. Might change dynamics. UAE informed inens that he could liberate teammate Terry Pagata from poststage media duties by taking the king of the mountain jersey. The Belgian of course had to be the one to lead the race over Monasel. That proved to be no challenge at all. AOK. Okay. Wellins will be in the polka dots on stage 4. Heading towards the Flam Rouge. Now it was time to set up and fire for success. As ever the stakes were high and hard falls as well. Jonathan Milan into position. Big move to the left hand side. Is he okay? Is he not? Rogich taps him on the back. He says he’s okay. Jasper Stoven goes for it. Takes the lead. Con on the wheel. Milan just behind. Whoa. Bitner just bangs Sam Watson out of the way to the right hand side. 1 kilometer of racing to go. Lead Trek now in control at the front. Yasper Stoven has control for Jonathan Milan. Can Milan take this stage victory? He’s been looking for big move of Tim Mer as he comes up and right on his wheel is the Astana rider. But it’s Lotto as well with Ann Arma Deli. What a messy sprint. Gronagen is there. Matthew Vanderpool in the yellow jersey. Lotto looking around. We’re almost at the finish line as they swoop around that corner. Pavle Bitner is about to sprint. Coming up Saurin Baron Gold 59 km an hour. Big move on the right hand side by the team of Israel Premier Tech. But now Bitner is about Oh, massive crash in the finish. Jonathan Milan now kicks and goes for the line. It’s Milan followed by Tim Malia. Now the European champion launches and launches fast. Is it Tim Malia? Wow. Photo finish. Malia puts his hand up. Oh, that crash of so many riders on the right hand side. Look at Jonathan Milan. He immediately and look how close that is. Tim Merier in the photo finish wins ahead of Jonathan Milan. It’s just It is. [Music] It was really a hard battle next to Milan. Always difficult to beat him, but I’m happy. Uh I can take today my second win here in the tournament. [Music] Merlier with a long wait to snatch a second G book stage win. When the first came in 2021, it was stage three after Vanderbal had won on stage two. And like four years ago, the Dutchman retains the yellow. No movement in the top six yet. Alpasin star sprinter disappears from the GC. Milan may have lost the stage, but he takes the green jersey involuntarily vacated by Philipsson. The Italian four points clear of Germay. UAE keep the tours polka dot jersey as Wellins is back in the jersey for the first time since wearing it in 2019. And Kevin Vulan retains the white jersey. The 24year-old is fourth overall. Already respended in yellow, stage four looks set up for a puncher like Matio Vanderpole. Can he hold on to the jersey? [Music]

8 min ‘extended’ highlights where the first 25% is wasted showing what happened yesterday.
Pourquoi ne peut-on pas voir le Tour de France en français?
I m not a jasper fan but this doesnt look clean to me. Huge disappointment. This is not ok…🤨🤔
laurenz rex and cofidis takes out alpecin , just sad
Woof hard fall. Sucks for Jasper.
This highlights could've been so much better. You guys are the same company, bring the team that does the Dakar extended highlights to Tour de France please, including the presenter.
Philipsen. 😢
Not much racing for extended highlights! Is your edit hoping for Hollywood director job LOL
Milan looks so weird sprinting
Sublime ce résumé
ten punctures! Is this sabotage?
I fully expect polka dot jersey wearers who also choose to wear polka dot bib shorts to be wearing clown shoes. It’s such a ridiculous look.
Why does stage 3 highlights include so much recap.. seriously, just focus on the highlights of the stage and not the ones we just saw.
I love this videos
It is worrying that a TDF stage highlight these days is little more than a compilation of crashes…
Really lousy coverage of this stage. Big thumbs down!
2:53 nice, havent seen this before. Nice tight clip anyway!
What's with the doom music. Were the crashes not bad enough.
so sad to see jesper philipsen out
What is that music in the final K? Not exactly Chariots of Fire, but I suppose with all rhose crashes ot kinda works…
Loose the dark dramtic music – it’s not a respective Tdf unchained series!
Jasper getting a little taste of his own medicine.
chaotic stage
There have been far too many crashes because this year's TDF stages are flatter.
Seguimos igual 🙄, hasta que no haya una desgracia no pararan de poner etapas absurdas y peligrosas. Si fuesen sus hijos los que corrieran, ya te digo yo que el recorrido sería muuuyy diferente. Hijos de p..a.
Once again Kamikaze Coquard caused the last crash… he was all over half the road before the last swooping right then seems to dip to his left next shot he’s tumbling through the air arse upwards… I got a Yellow card for this or the Philipsen incident… kick him out.
Si Bien Milan hizo un movimiento repentino en el sprint del retiro de Philipsen, el de cofidis debia preveer y tener mejor colocacion que le permitiera reaccionar, simplemente un accidente que pudo evitarse (o evitar)
