Join me for an EPIC cycling adventure through Berlin’s most iconic landmarks! From Tiergarten to Holocaust Memorial with pulsing techno beats! 🚴‍♂️🎵

🎥 FILMED WITH DJI OSMO POCKET 3 – This entire video was shot with the incredible DJI Osmo Pocket 3, showcasing its amazing 4K stabilization and cinematic quality while cycling through Berlin’s busy streets. The compact size made it perfect for capturing smooth footage while navigating the city on my bike!

In this first part of my Berlin cycling series, I explore Berlin’s most famous landmarks:

🌳 TIERGARTEN – Started my journey in Berlin’s “green heart” – this massive 210-hectare park is absolutely stunning and perfect for cycling! You’ll see the peaceful lakes, wooded paths, and the iconic Victory Column. The morning light filtering through the trees was magical.

🏛️ BRANDENBURG GATE – No Berlin trip is complete without visiting Germany’s most famous symbol! I cycled right up to this incredible neoclassical triumphal arch that once divided East and West Berlin. The energy around Pariser Platz was incredible, and you’ll see some amazing interactions with locals and tourists.

🕯️ HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL – This powerful memorial with its 2,711 concrete slabs created such a moving atmosphere. Cycling around this solemn tribute to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust was deeply impactful, and the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 captured the memorial’s striking visual impact beautifully.

🏗️ POTSDAMER PLATZ – The contrast between historic Berlin and modern architecture is incredible! This vibrant square represents Berlin’s transformation after reunification, and the contemporary buildings create such a dynamic backdrop for cycling footage. This part is better shown in the next part.

🎵 WHY TECHNO? Berlin is the undisputed world capital of techno music! The pulsing electronic beats perfectly capture the city’s incredible energy and underground culture. As I cycled through these historic sites, the techno soundtrack represents the modern, creative spirit that makes Berlin so unique. The city literally pulses with this music in clubs, on the streets, and in the hearts of Berliners!

✨ AMAZING RANDOM INTERACTIONS – One of the best parts of this adventure was the spontaneous encounters with locals! From friendly Berliners giving cycling tips to tourists asking for directions, these genuine moments show the real spirit of Berlin. You’ll see street performers, cyclists sharing the bike lanes, and the incredible diversity that makes this city so special.

🗼 BONUS LOCATIONS – I also caught glimpses of the iconic TV Tower (Fernsehturm) at Alexanderplatz piercing the Berlin skyline, and the stunning Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral) with its impressive baroque architecture. These unexpected shots add even more Berlin magic to this cycling adventure!

This is just PART 1 of my complete Berlin bike tour series! I visited so many incredible places that I had to split this into multiple videos. So this time we start with Berlin. This time it’s the te garden teen I think they call it. So this statue is in the middle. It’s kind of impossible to miss. And from here we go to Brandenburg gates. Yeah. To give some information about this teaten as they call it if I pronounce that correctly. It’s apparently Berlin’s largest and most central park and it’s so like it’s often called as the the green heart of the city and it covers about like 210 hectares and offers let me yeah I’m reading it from here so it’s kind of hard to read while I’m doing it. Um, it has lakes, it has wooded areas as it puts monuments and open lawns. It’s actually pretty nice vibe. Like I’m enjoying myself and it’s indeed quite central. So, I wasn’t expecting this big of a place. When I’m in the parks, just biking around is actually really, really calming. Yeah. If you like biking, it’s probably likely that you like natural places as well. So, this is the place that I came across without realizing. Oh, wait. That’s Russian now. Yeah. if these things are written in Russian. Something to do with Second World War. I don’t know what it is, but um yeah. Okay. Before the gates, I’ll show you this place cuz it’s hard to miss honestly. Really nice structure. the German folk I guess German people. It’s right there somewhere. Anyhow, so the building is apparently called Rak building and it’s a near Renaissance parliament building topped by a Norman Foster glass stone with a 360° city views. But yeah, it looks amazing honestly. Now we are going to the museum island. These places are quite close by like center center. The museum island is apparently UNESCO world heritage sites and it has some nice views of the river. You filming or something?
Yeah. For a stream or something?
Yeah. No, just going to make a YouTube video of like Berlin
Viking vlog.
What is your channel?
Huh?
What is your channel?
My name
The name of channel.
Yeah. It’s hard to write, man. It’s Roxifus with R Oxy PH.
Roxifus.
Yeah. You can check it out sometime. I’m going to put you guys into the video then. Okay, perfect. I just started. So,
there you go. That’s I got to ask you.
All right. Thanks. Bye-bye.
Thank you. What a chill people. Like honestly uh I’m not used to this in uh yeah in Belgium this is not really the case but these people uh I mean like bigger cities more international people so I guess it’s normal to have these kind of interactions. I’d like to have more and more of them. Of course. I’m kind of Yeah, it was nice. It was nice to see them. Sadly, the the light just turned green right away. So, yeah, I had to leave. [Music] The funny thing is I’ve filmed so many times in Belgium. Not once someone asked something like this. So that was uh it’s pretty nice. I think we are that you see is a 365 m TV tower. Actually, it’s uh placed on Lexander plots in this historic meeting and marketplace rebuilds postwar with modern buildings. Uh it’s a pretty cool place. We’ll pass by in the later parts of the video as well. I mean, at this point, wherever you look, it’s historical. I don’t think I’ve been to this part of Berlin before. The building you see on the left is Bina Dome and it’s a cathedral from 1800s and with an organ with 7,269 pipes plus royal tunes and dome for city view. I don’t know where to where to turn the camera, man. It’s just uh yeah, everything is right next to each other. This building is the Asian Arts Museum and it’s also located in the museum island. I might have even just passed these parts right now. Bau. Bau. How many like what do I film? There’s so much so many cool buildings and everything. And I’m like a quite I guess culturalist because there’s so much to learn that I don’t know about then. You know what the good thing is? I’m going to make a voice over on this. So the statue you see is paying tribute to Karl Marx and Friedick Engles who are the forefathers of communism. Now we are going to Brandon Brandenburg Brandenburg brand gate. However you read it. It’s quite fun to bike here. So if I were to give some general knowledge about Berlin, it’s the biggest city of Germany and the history is dating back to 13th century and it’s where techno was born at least like it’s the center of techno. Um, I didn’t really go to any techno parties here, but I remember when I was traveling around in a in a park here with a friend that four. Yeah, I don’t know what that’s about. Honestly, I don’t know what language she spoke either. Assuming German. He didn’t really understand it. I mean, the gestures were explanatory enough, but still [Music] roads are so nice, man. I was thinking that for the German cups to have a car should be pretty easy. Like, I mean, most of the good car brands are German anyway, so Cars are generally pretty nice. Vibes are good. The buildings are old and nice as well. Like the historical vibe, you can definitely feel it. [Music] [Music] Can I get water? Water?
Yes. €2? And that is the Berlin view. that you probably saw online. One thing to always is get your water from home and not from here cuz I paid €3. I mean, it makes sense. It’s like the the most central place you can imagine, I guess. So about the Brandenburg or Brandenburg gates. It’s the most iconic symbol of Berlin and it’s a neocclassical triumphal ark built in the late 18th century and it apparently once marked the division between east and west Berlin and yeah now though it symbolizes the German Eurification and peace. This is definitely a mustsea like it’s uh impossible to miss this. Now we’ll go to Holocaust Memorial after this which is a As you can see, the scooters are quite popular here. I didn’t know the art academy is also right next to it. Guess that makes sense. Interesting thing is we have still an hour and 10 minutes of biking to see the places. That’s going to be that’s going to be fun. Actually, it is going to be fun. It’s kind of a cool thing. I think to actually see around the city with a bike, like actually experience the city. Yeah. So far so good. Put some house now. Yeah, baby. Enjoy the vibes. Like it’s kind of tiring. Obviously, it’s not the most common way of seeing the city, but you know, if you lived in a city like here, at least if I live and live here, I would like a lot. So, for me, it’s like what it would be like if I lived here. And the coolest thing is like I’m just realizing this more and more. But while I’m trying to film, I’m actually learning about these historical places. I normally would probably just see and not really search this much cuz to try and document is something else. Now we’re coming to the memorial. This is also a mustsee. It’s quite known. You can go inside it and walk. So this is a powerful and solemn memorial consisting of 2,711 concrete slabs arranged in a grid pattern as you can see and designed by architect Peter Eisenmon. I think it com commemorates the Jewish victims of the Holocaust and located near to the Brandenburg gates. Good book gates. Yeah, it’s visually impactful I would say. [Music] Now we’ll go to post plots. [Music] So, this will be the episode for today and the continuing part I’ll make it part two, I think.
Yeah, there will be a part two. Uh, I’m actually working on it right now, but I hope you really enjoyed it. I tried to like try a new method of fast forwarding those parts where it could be a bit boring, I guess. So, yeah. See you all in the next one.
