This is my very first post. I have been reading lots of comments about bike fit, cadence, heart rate, tires, bars, etc. I am new to cycling, and have applied all the advice with great results. Of all the things that have helped, cadence seems to be the biggest. I have found I can keep a faster pace for much longer with a much steadier heart rate. After only 1 month of riding I did 39 miles and felt great afterwards. Advice on proper adjustments ie: saddle position, bars, and tire inflation made a huge difference.
At 57 years old, any little thing to make riding easier is a big help, plus I feel better, and love being outdoors.
Thanks for all the good info!
