Travelling in a campervan wherever the wheels take me, no big plans, just where I want to be! ‘Sconky’ is its name and it’s my 🏠 home, 🚘car, 💼 office, 💼 mobile ones straight.
Albena is a tourist resort on the coast of the Black Sea, South Dobrudja, in north-eastern 🇧🇬 Bulgaria, 12 km from Balchik and 30 km from Varna.
Between 1913-1940 it was part of the Balčica area of Caliacra County, Romania.
Purpose-built as a tourist resort, Albena has a unified and unique architectural style. Most hotels, located right on the beach, have maximum sun exposure and direct access to the beach. Albena is located close to other tourist, cultural and commercial centers, yet still manages to preserve its natural habitat. Although built on an empty lot in the 1960s, it now looks like a small town, with a town center, streets and squares, and even a public transport network – dedicated trains that run on a set schedule through the streets of the town.
The resort has a 5 km long, 150 m wide beach with fine sand; the sea water is clean, calm and warm. The water depth does not exceed 1.6 meters at a distance of 100-150 meters from the shore. Visitors can opt for one of the 43 modern hotels (two to four stars) offering around 20 000 beds. Travelers in motorhomes and caravans are not neglected either, as they can camp in a small campsite with 20 camping pitches close to Hotel Mura. The campsite is set among trees, offering natural shade, between the access road to Hotel Mura and the sandy beach. The 20 pitches have electricity, water, wi-fi and a shower/toilet container.
The name of the resort comes from the name of a character in a story by Bulgarian writer Yordan Yovkov. Albena is a Bulgarian female surname.
ERATĂ: Am comis o greșeală: la început este “Bulgaria” nu “Bulagaria”. Sorry!

We came out to walk the Rock and Blues gentlemen you see here. Let’s see what I do. hey what are you doing Look here at rock and blues. The motanas we carry with the camper. This time I am in Bulgaria. We went for a walk. We have a lot of greenery, a few hotels and the beach can be reached very quickly. There is a double bike rental center here . You can ride around Albena with these bikes. It is very quick to reach the beach. I like that it is very clean. We don’t see garbage, we don’t see mess, discarded blankets and so on. Okay, I saw a lot of foreign tourists here. What I really like about the cleanliness in Albena is almost 910 and they are working on cleaning the beach. And as we can see, the deckchairs are placed in German style, like this, in line. Terraces right on the beach, where you can serve a lot of drinks. Here we see a garden full of colorful roses. Bulgarians are known for their rose products. It’s really a pleasure to come, sit and rest a bit and smell the aroma of loose rock roses . Let’s see this one too. Come on too. So. Bravo. Here you can treat yourself to these little fishes for your feet. Let me show you this campsite in Albena. It is a campsite, as you can see here, we are 1 m from the beach. I think it is one of the best places in this campsite. It is not a very big campsite. It’s a small campsite. It has about 20 seats, but we sit in the shade. This campsite belongs to the Mura Hotel, which is the Mura Hotel at the end. between 20 places. Here are the rates. The access fee is 89 leva, the price per day of access to the campsite. This price includes electricity, water supply. Here is the shower and toilet area. I measured, I have fixed 35 steps from Here is the toilet and there is the shower. I’m not showing it to you now because I forgot to take the key. By the way, you get a key from the hotel reception. When you come here, go to the Mura Hotel reception and there you will receive a key to access the toilet. Here there are two showers to wash off when you come from the beach. There are also a few stationary caravans staying here. during the entire year. It’s good that I’m not at the moment, it’s not the full season, there aren’t many tourists. The weather is perfect for the beach. And here is my place where I have been staying for a few days with this view. And here the driver with the passenger with Uber. Look there we have horses. I’m going to take the electric one because I’m already tired. Look there dinosaurs. From the park. Karting list for kids. We intersect with the little train from Albena. Well, after an hour of cycling. I glorified two or three kilos, but I also saw a steak house. So we go to the campsite to park the moti and walk a bit to the steakout to get some protein. How many kilos does it go to I don’t know. Shamrock Steak House. The clams came. Let’s see. Wow, what does wine clams look like. My mouth is watering. Come on, I’ll leave you. I’ll be back later. I cooked these scallops that were really good, including with that sauce, a garlic, lemon, parsley sauce. Very good. I also ordered a pepper steak. Let’s see how it’s done here in Bulgaria at Albena. A medium steak, not rare. It’s ok. Oh.
