A person who when riding a cycle on a road or other public space is unfit to ride through drink or drugs, that is to say, under the influence of drink or a drug to such an extent as to be incapable of having proper control of the cycle is guilty of an offense. In Scotland, a constable may arrest without warrant a person committing offense under the session. Proper [ __ ] country. That’s right. Original proper. It’s got a human touch to it. There’s a [ __ ] fair chance that if you go out cycling on a road and you’re unfit to cycle, you’re the [ __ ] that’s going to come boss off when you go in front of an oncoming [ __ ] bus. So, it’s got a kind of inbuilt um inbuilt sort of that’s a lot of [ __ ] Actually, there’s times I’ve been cycling in the past. And no, I’ve never I’ve never cycled in the past. I’ve never been so drunk. I have been drunk while uh cycling. I can say that legally. Legally. Um but not to the extent. Uh like, oh [ __ ] I’m for air. I’m I’m fing about the place. I don’t think you’d be able to. So, there you go. That’s the UK law. They changed the law back end of 2019. H co few wines in a cycle constable coming to get you. Um but of course it’s up to you.
