[Music] He tears through the streets like a thunder’s roar. Rubber burns and the engine soarses. Rev bomb rides with a wild man’s pride. The world can’t keep up no matter how it tries. Rev bomb’s motorbikes got a heart of steel. Wheels spinning faster than the fear we feel. Lights flash like fire in the dead of night. He’s a rebel on wheels chasing freedom.
Morning all. We are out with this today. Look at this. LXRS. These are purchase to order. We’ve got nine left at Lex Motos. The full carbon. What’s the difference between this and an LXR? Well, it don’t half lean over. I’ll tell you that on the side stand. But you got all the uh carbon on it. You have the inverted forks whacking great big discs to the front. And the best bit is it’s got a TFT display. So basically the same as the LXR, different panels, little bit more uh beefed up. Yes, it’s got a Lex Moto badge on the back because I’m wearing my trade plate on my back. And we’re out for a ride on this. I love getting out on these pure bred full-on 125 sports bike and it’s still half the price of your Japanese brands. Is it as good as they say it is? Of course it is. TFT dash fuel water mileage at the bottom time which I’ve got to set cuz it’s just gone 7:00. It’s early in the morning rev count at the top gear indicator and your miles an hour in the screen. And it’s got it only OBD on board as well. So if you have any issues, you can selfch checkck your OBD. Right, we’re going to get out and get a ride on and we’re going to have a bit of fun. I have got my microphone this morning. I’ve left the mic on charge at home. So means that the first bit is just going to be me riding. I am going to have to collect my mic from home and then we’ll get back into it. So, I’ve only got a couple of miles to go to RB’s house. Let’s get out and ride. I’ll see you guys in a few. A little longer than a few minutes later. Right, we are back now. I’ve got a microphone. So, we’re now four miles in. This is good. Seating position on this really tucks you into the tank. Typical race bike style or your sports bike style. As always, 40 to 45 m an hour for the first 500 miles. So, nice slow test ride. And being nice and sunny, we thought we’d get out early this morning because the weather is going to be absolutely blistering. They reckon it’s going to be at least between 32 and 35° today. So, we shall see how we get on with the uh the heat today. But nothing better than early morning before the sun comes up and get a test ride in before you start to cook in your gear. Now, I know a lot of people are out there in shorts and t-shirt, guys. It’s your body, your skin. Do what you like, but I certainly would not be riding in shorts and t-shirt. Even if it is spankingly hot, get yourself some protection. There’s plenty of different suits out there. You don’t need full textiles. Leather is good, but obviously you’ve got your stuff like your Noox armor, which is your mesh armor that you can put a hoodie over the top, which is what I have on this morning. So, I’ve got jacket on and underneath it I’ve got my Nox urban armor and then obviously my work shirt. So, get back the garage, jacket off, knocks off and walk around in my uh office shirt. On the bottom, I’ve got jeans. I live in Kev jeans. Yes, they are hot. When I’m in the workshop, I do sweat my cods off, but if I happen to go out on a test ride, I haven’t got to get all kitted up down below. And I’ve got obviously me big boots on as well, which are toe caps. Good high ankle boots as well. And a decent pair of gloves, Frank Thomas. These are nice and thin. These are the summer gloves. And then obviously I’ve got another set which are the heavy duty winter gloves, which you can see on the other videos. So I have a couple of sets of gloves that I wear. Certainly wouldn’t be out with no gloves on. First thing that’s going to hit the road is going to be your hands. So, uh, as I say, it’s your choice. It’s your skin, but once you’ve lobbed yourself down the road once and you end up with, uh, gravel rash or taken off a layer of skin off, you’re going to know about it. So, road rash is not a nice thing. I know. Been there, done it. Had the t-shirt and my legs are covered in scars all the way up to my hips where I’ve thrown myself down the road in jeans and had pegs embed in me legs and you exhaust on me legs. You name it, I’ve done it. So, definitely worth investing in some decent bike gear, guys. But, as I say, if you want to go out in shorts, t-shirts, and a pair of trainers, it’s your choice, your skin. You’re only going to do it once. All the gear, all the time. So, little Alex RSSE is going great. I love that display. It is really bright. And then obviously when you get to the nighttime, it will flick itself across and go into dark mode on its own. It has got a light sensor in it, which is a great thing. LED all round. So at the moment I’m running position light but you can run full lights on just with a flick of the button have all the headlights on. I always say if you are riding either have a position light going or best thing put all your lights on. And then the other thing is people like oh you’re riding on a dual carriageway at 40 mph. Yes I know all the roads in Milton Kees are dual carriageway or 90% of them anyway. And even if you had a bicycle or a 50cc, you’ve still got to come down this route or go down one of the dual carriageways. So, as long as you tuck yourself into position one, keep your eye on those mirrors. And the view off those mirrors is really good as well. So, you got a good placing of the mirrors. You can set them out wider if you like them on little stalks. and 5 mil Allen key at the front does the job. Just to undo and move them out a little bit more, but I’ve got them set up just nicely for me. Massive great fuel tank. Now, 5 L gets you literally one bar on the tank. So, it’s around about 13 14 L on one of these. Quick shoulder check. moving off here and then we will go down into town and have a run around town while I’m doing that. And people hate this bit. Some people like it, some people hate it. The obligatory bit of waffle. Well, I’ve just waffled about bike gear. So, we did ABR this weekend. Caught up with uh loads and loads of motor vloggers. The video for ABR is on the way of just 18 hours of footage I shot. So, we got to trim it down to like 20 minutes. But it was a good time. Had my all. Did I have a drink? Oh god, I had a drink. Thursday we got there nice and easy. Ended up having a wander around in the evening. Caught up with Slow Rider, Lord Bill, Richie Va, and saw Sappy Sprocket there as well. Loads and loads of motor vloggers there. Exit a rider was there. Peaky Biker, John Diard, Mlan, Graeme Hagis, Whisperer, how the Scottish biker guy and didn’t manage to see any of them. I thought I would exit her though. Saw Peaky for a while, but there was loads there. Loads of trade stands caught up with everybody on the trade stands and then obviously Friday was the big day. Loads and loads of tribute bands on all Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening which was absolutely amazing. Some great bands that we saw and go and look at my other videos for those. I think some of them are on the reels but obviously due to money or copyright some of them we couldn’t put up. They keep getting uh the audio taken down. But it was great fun had by all. And Friday night I had a a massive great drinking session. One of the guys gave me a Guinness and I enjoyed it that much I had another one and then another one. And then before I knew it, Richie Vida was there. Guinness Richie and Richie actually drinks Guinness. So uh ended up nine pints in Vince from Bike Night at the Loun said I said alone. and he didn’t recognize me. I thought probably three sheets to the wind vince. But we ended up in the magic teapot with Richie Vida singing country and western songs which was great. So killed me voice for Saturday and then Saturday night we did exactly the same magic teapot again. So a lot of fun was had ABR and we’ve already booked our tickets for next year. So I’ve already preempted and bought my tickets in advance for next year. Thursday, Friday, Saturday again. Yay. So, ABR next year. One of my other ones that’s going really well. He was one of my reels. And uh there was me, Jay, and Vincent on his sinister terrain. And we went to uh let’s go and have a run. Let’s go and do Super Sausage. We turned up to Super Sausage just to see what it was like. None of the regulars there. There was a couple that I spotted. Literally just a couple of people and I need the other lane cuz I’m going down in town. We got over here. There we go. Quick indicate. Nothing over my shoulder. We went and uh had a bacon roll which was a bit dire till one of the guys noticed he got mold on his burger bun. Lovely. Coffee was ranked. The tea was stewed. The it weren’t the best. We’ve had better at Super Sausage, but the food weren’t all that. So much so, we did a little reel and I’m like, “Right, that’s it. We’ve had enough.” It was literally just people, “Oh, look at my bike. Look at my” And you know the type that they’ve got the GS and they don’t go off road with it. They polish it. They clean it. It’s got all the adventure crap on it. And they never ever get it. Never ever sees a dirty road or a bit of mud. They just go there for the weekend, get it out of the garage, go to Super Sausage, do the cafe, ride home, and uh of course your uh sports bike warriors that have got all the kit on the virgin knee sliders, the big wide chicken strips where the bike’s never been over. It’s been in a straight line and then they Oh, look at me. Look at my bike. Look at that’s what I meant by posers. They just weekend warriors, as we call them. Well, they they don’t ride their bike all year round. It comes out on the the warmest days of the summer and then that’s it. It does about 20 miles a year and that’s it. Why do you If you’ve got a bike, ride the damn thing. And I do a lot of uh obviously trails and ride outs to cafes. A lot of the stuff I do, I don’t record because when I go out, I normally do me a little bit. We’ve been to the cafe. Shut the camera off and I’ll go off and do uh a nice long ride and find some trails and some country lanes. Just a bit of time on my own. You’re welcome. So, hence why you don’t see me doing people say, “Oh, but include the trails.” No, that’s my private time where I just go off, meet the boys, and we go off and do some muddy fields or country lanes, back roads, and have a little bit of fun. So that is what we do. I don’t include all my footage, but you get a lot of people go, “Oh yeah, but look at you poser. You just turn up for a cup of coffee and blog it.” No, I don’t. I turn up for a cup of coffee and then go to about 140 miles. So that’s what I meant by posers. And some people have got the some people have agreed me. Yeah, the food at Super Sausage ain’t all that. gasoline juice and Emma’s Cafe and Industry and Supply were locked down. Andy GSA, Simon GTR, they don’t go there anymore. Neither does a lot of my crew and a lot of the boys, they say, “Yeah, we prefer going to Emma’s, mate. The food’s not sitting on a hot plate for half an hour. Everything’s uncooked.” Same as if you go to Industry Inspire Gasoline Juice. It’s all cooked to order. Obviously big place like Super Sausage, they’ve got shed loads waiting to get out on the plates just due to the amount of people that are queuing up, but not for me, unfortunately. It used to be I used to do loads of videos of Super Sausage. Not anymore. Don’t enjoy it anymore. So, uh, yeah, but loads of people are clicking going, “Yeah, thanks for the click. I don’t mind the bad comments. There’s a delete button.” So yeah, entirely up to you. If you want to comment, comment. I don’t give a rats. But thanks for the click. Thanks for the interaction. And that’s what people don’t seem to realize, these keyboard warriors. Every time you get a troll comment, it’s an interaction. The analytics will pick up on it. So every click is a good click. Don’t be put off by people and all their negativity giving you chip. And yes, we do get racky horrible comments, but it’s all part of being out there in the public eye. And then when you see the people that uh do leave the comments, of which I had a couple last night. Oh, you don’t know how to ride a bike? All right. Okay, fine. I’ve been doing this game for Oh, god. since I was 5 years old. So that’s 50 51 uh 56 years. So 61. I’ve been doing this since I was five. riding big bikes since I was 12. So, I know I know the game. I know how this works. But thanks for your interaction. And then you’ve tend to find, oh, you can’t ride a bike. And then you go and look at their profile page and they’ve got either a 125 scooter or they’ve got himself a beat up bicycle and they’ve never ridden a motorcycle in their life. I am not going to filter yet. I will now though. So, every bike is a good bike. I don’t care 50cc 125 or big bike. We’re all bikers, but it’s just some are a little bit uh full on. Anyway, test ride is done. There’s that 10 miles, the magical 10 miles on the bike. I can now head to the garage, get this damn jacket off and me Knox armor and have a cup of coffee and a cigarette and the is already out. There’s clouds and midgetes everywhere. Thank god I have my sun visor down. There’s nothing worse. And another thing for you, keep your sun visor or your screen down. you get hit in the face by a fly or a wasp or a mitch and that goes in your eyeball, mate, you are going to have watering eyes. So, always make sure you got some sort of eye protection on. Even if it’s just a pair of sunglasses, just keep your face shielded. But the LX RSSE all test ridden. Customers waiting to watch the video with this one. one of our guys. Hey, I thought I recognized him. He just probably popped in the garage. Where they at? No, I’m just going to pop down the shop and get a drink then. It’s probably one of my first of the day. We’ll find out. Anyway, I got loads on today. Servicing. I’ve got two bikes going out. So, the uh RX1’s heading out today. The LSZ is heading out today and I have got to get all the bikes out for the morning. So, got to clean this one first. This one can go away. We’re going to put that back in the workshop, I think. Or in fact, I might hook it in over there. Phil’s already in. He’s been here since 5:00 this morning. He’s been a busy boy. Right, let’s uh Oh, god. That seat is high. Let’s roll this one back into the gap. One last look at the SE. So, we’ll put this one in just here. I’ve got cars blocking my yard cuz Phil’s been buying sales cars. So if you fancy a Peugeot Corsa or a Highendai i20 or nice little Lexus over there as well, Vauxil mocker and of course the van. But there it is. LX RSSE. It’s all test ridden. It’s all done. It’s all hunky dory. Bolt check to come up. Final ride and we are done. Till then be well, ride safe. And from Rev, it’s a big goodbye from me. [Applause]

  1. 12:57 I had a bimble the last time we met at Gasoline juice and picked up a random lane out of Weedon discovering new single tack roads and tiny villages lost in time. Absolute bliss!
Good to hear about ABR and that you properly let your hair down. 👍🏾
