Iām heading to Norway on my bike.
I’m attempting to cycle from the UK to Norway. I’m scheduled to get a ferry in Dova in two days and I’m on schedule to get that. I’ll work my way across to Calala and then just head north. I’m going to meet my girlfriend die in Amsterdam and then the both of us are going to travel north to Norway hopefully. And I say hopefully because I’m not 100% sure if I can make it. never cycle tour before and I’m not too sure what to expect. I’ve got all my gear on the back of my bike, including my tent. And for the past few days, I’ve been cycling across the south of England. I’ve been working my way along canals, country roads, quaint little towns, and shady cycleways. Currently cycling through a forest near Tumbridge, Wales and I’m thankful for the shade at the moment because Europe is going through quite some mental heat wave at the moment and the temperature here in the UK is about 30° every day. So, it’s been tough. Let’s see what happens. Let’s go on an adventure. And I’m going to attempt to vlog some long form vlogs as well of this adventure and upload them as and when I can. So follow along and see if me and my girlfriend die can make it to Norway.

Safe travels Ryan and Di! Id love to do some bikepacking, it's just bike repairs I'm not sure I'd be confident at… You'll be seeing much more of the world, that's for sure!
Hey Ryan, Steve here, I changed my profile picture. What is absolutely the most important thing about cycling is to be comfortable on the bike. If you are not comfortable on the bike you will not perform well. Correct seat height, tilt, distance from the handlebars must be considered, even handlebar width and height. Take tools so you can make adjustments while en route. Correct clothing is another important factor. Wear shorts made for cycling that have a chamois lining. DO NOT wear underwear under the shorts! Your trail runners are not suitable for cycling. Go to a bike shop and purchase shoes made for cycle touring. Thatās all I can think of at the moment.
Ryan, there's no stopping you my friend! Good luck and I look forward to following along on your adventure
