A strange “road” on my commute

First, I use pedal assist, I don’t know if it’s allowed here.
So this weird cobble street that climbs up to 16% is in Bazas, France. It’s super wide but I’ve never seen a car parked or drive on it, maybe because it’s super steep and sketchy with the cobble and the grass.
