Found this Miyata frame, fork, and crank combo locally on craigslist for $30. I had a lot of the other parts already, and got everything else I needed from our local community bike shop. So far, I've put a whopping $80 into it. Cable routing with mustace bars is weird, so I haven't finalized that. Might switch to drops instead.
This Miyata "Seven 21" frame is funny. Bonded Aluminum to steel, like a technium, but nicer. The front brake was recessed, the rear was nutted. I drilled that out to accept recessed brakes, and drilled the cable stops on the very used Shimano 600 brakes to accept ferrules. 3×8 friction shifting. I hope she enjoys it!
