I've since ditched the bags and have a handlebar bag now.
I've always had Shimano on my bikes but I'm enjoying the SRAM. Shifting is very different but I like it. After a couple rides I now see why they say SRAM is "clunky".
Random side note, aluminum has come a long way. Last aluminum bike I had was a Trek 1.2. This frame is a night and day difference than the 1.2.
