About Us
We’re Emre and Maia. Our videos feature local, authentic, and immersive experiences in Europe. We love to engage with local people and stay longer in our destinations, while we spend a gap year or two being curious about everything! We’re passionate about travel and food and have been to 44 countries between us! Longing for simplicity and freedom, we put our remaining possessions in storage, and set out with a suitcase and carry-on each. We love slow travel because its a mindset that works whether you have a few days or a whole year!

We like to keep it real. We did not receive, nor do we ask for compensation from any of the enterprises mentioned in this video.

  1. @happygoluckytravel if you had to select a place to live, not just visit, from the places you’ve been on the French Rivera which one(s) would you choose?

  2. First foreign holiday as a 14 year old with parents over 40 years ago was camping in the pine forest near Portissol beach.
I would imagine its all been developed now.
Walks to Sanary and Bandol were a real treat.
Promised to return one year but never have.
Might pencil in a trip for September this year after watching this.

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. I had forgotten the name of your channel and missed seeing your videos. I finally reviewed my Subscription list and will catch up. Thank you for Sanary Sur Mer. Happy new year!

  4. My late wife & I spent many wonderful hours here & the surrounding district. We never drove, went by rail & bus. Services were superb. Certainly the French know of it's charm. Can never speak too highly of this area & many others in Provence.
