so and Hamburg there are some areas even in the central part of the city where you have bike lanes but that are bike lanes from the 70s or 80s so it’s it’s much better to go on the street than to use those bike lanes because they’re really you know stones missing there are roots from the trees growing so you keep going

and uh usually when I do longer trips I’m doing it with friends and so they’re staying up
yeah then the Alps we’re staying in Alpine huts and in in the other areas it’s little hotels so everybody likes to to hike all day but then to have a real bed and uh

yeah yeah yeah so I’m not better than others but I remember when all those big grocery stores started eating up the little shops that was sad because we had a lot of little shops where there was a family having a shop in the basement and that kind of stuff but they couldn’t uh compete towards the prices so in many villages or smaller towns you find what we call the donut effect that the center is getting emptied because they’re putting up all the big ships at the ring road or around the center of the of the village so everybody even people who are living in the center taking a car to go there do their shopping and

take everything home with a car instead of using the smaller shop in the town that doesn’t have 25 different sorts of pasta but 10 maybe that’s enough but no to go somewhere where you can have everything i think it also has to do with that people are they they are at work the whole day so the shopping is just something to do on the way home I grew up with we was doing shopping on Fridays that was the shopping there and then my mom had made everything that was going to be bought for the whole So the dinner was already Yeah
wow but now it is more what should we have today i live in Hamburg in this kind of small um area is called Hotenza
yeah and it’s next to the train station in Ala so it’s quite it’s not really the city center but uh close to it and uh in this area we do the shopping every day
because we have so many stores in walking distance that we always just do it with a with a backpack yeah that’s quite nice because you can you don’t have to think ahead so much and you don’t have to drive there park there and make a big shopping which takes you an hour or
just just do these little walks and do something spontaneously but of course you need you need a lot of people who do it this way and it works because otherwise you won’t have the shots no I see where that I live in a small community we are around 13,400 people there and we have had two stores two grocery stores but now the one I’m at is closing down so it will only be one left [Music] but we see what happens maybe there comes another one because having one that is competing I think that’s good so I hope for that but we’ll see but there is many shops that has been closing down that community but yeah I should continue i have a campsite I need to reach before 6:00 [Applause] how many kilometers to that campsite it’s only 36.5 left i It was over 50 yeah so it should be fine but you never know something can happens and then Yeah yeah wait somewhere and it’s nice to be there early you have time for your tent pitching the tent in the rain is not fun and last time I was
