Welcome to our Colchester Orbital video, we have another fairly local walk for us that is a right little treat to be honest seeing many parts of Colchester we have never seen before, this walk was created back just after Lock Down, and what an amazing walk it is linking a lot of the green spaces around Colchester, and boy is there more than you think. The Walk is approximately 14.5 miles long but there are also 3 section that you could do separately.

hello and welcome to the great outdoors you join us here at Highwoods today we’re planning to do the Colchester orbital circular route um uh as I say we’re starting at Highwoods and planning to do the full circular um route although you can choose to do this in parts as it’s already been broken down into three different smaller circular routes and there’s also extra um alternatives to take along the way um you can pick up a paper map here at um Highwoods or you can actually go online and download the map and obviously choose the length of walk that suits you best on the day we follow uh sort of beautiful green spaces and off-road pathway networks uh as well as public rights of way and cycle paths um along the route at various points um I hope you come along with us and enjoy the walk as we will [Music] [Applause] [Music] the get wild the get wild the get wild [Music] the get wild [Music] [Music] heat heat [Music] hey [Music] hey hey thank you if you’re in need of any drinks as we were just after you pass Abbott’s Road you’ll find a shop [Music] oh oh [Music] as you come out of the alley on Hive Key with the river cone in front of you we turn left to visit the Spica Inn we had some dinner and sat on the roof terrace alternatively there are a variety of shops at either side of the river no no no [Music] heat heat n [Music] hey [Music] hey hey [Music] don’t [Music] know [Music] hey [Music] hey hey [Music] no more no more don’t move [Music] baby baby [Music] coming to the end of the variation of the walk that we completed which was about 14 1/2 miles we were blown away about how many pockets of green space there were that we didn’t even know about let alone had visited previously considering we’re quite local to Colchester we definitely suggest that locals as well as those visiting the area should get out and try the Colchester orbital please like and subscribe and join us on the next adventure bye for now
