This week in Parliament, I raised the fantastic work of our local neighbourhood policing team after they seized multiple stolen off-road bikes in Hatfield and Dunscroft.
Thanks to the Government’s Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee, Doncaster East and the Isle of Axholme will soon have named local officers with stronger powers to combat antisocial behaviour and make our communities safer.
doncaster East neighborhood policing team recently seized multiple stolen off-road bikes using tactics including drones and high visibility patrols their swift action has made a real difference in tackling antisocial behavior in places like Hatfield and Donscroft i commend their work and the public support they’ve received through their where’s that bike campaign in light of these can I ask the minister about progress around the neighborhood policing guarantee and when Doncaster East and the aisle of Axam can see named police officers in their
office please uh can I welcome the work that South Yorkshire Police have been doing and the Doncaster East neighborhood policing team going after the off-road bikes which just cause havoc and are a total nightmare in the community uh they are also getting additional neighborhood police as part of the neighborhood policing guarantee and we will give them stronger powers to keep the streets safe sher
