I am looking to do a half iron man next year and wanted to start looking for a bike suitable for both my work commute which is 14 miles each way (mainly canal and road) as well as to complete a half iron man. My work offers a cycle to work scheme so i had a look online and thought this would be the perfect starter bike as currently I’m riding my mtb daily. If this isn’t worth getting are there any other bikes that would be okay with both my work commute and the iron man? Ideally it would be around the same price as this canyon which is £949
