so good morning it’s the 24th of November 2024 and today we’re going to film you here in Longton the uh stoon Trent toy run 2024 and hundreds of bikers are going to take place in this uh run which starts it’s about 11:00 from the uh britania stadium and it goes through blurton Dresden Longton bent Le bnell abolon badley green Milton Hanley Northwood and finishes in Stoke and it’s been getting on now for 46 years so this should be absolutely amazing and what you do get is people on motorbikes and they’re all dressed up and in Santa suits and everything like that so yeah I’m quite excited and this should be very very good we just spoke to the marshals and what actually happens on this uh bike run as it comes down the Strand here and it will come around this corner here it’ll come past the uh Town Hall there and it will go up there so I think this is probably a really really good place to uh stand and uh watch it today so getting excited now we’re coming up to uh let’s have a look 3 minutes to uh 11 so it should set off from the batania stadium at 11:00 and the marshals have just said the uh they do close the uh the road so these uh these Marshals here these are people we’ve just spoken to they say they uh they do close the road at the uh the time so that should be good that should be really really interesting and uh we standing like I say just uh right by the uh train bridge here in Longton looks like these are the uh lead bikes here so uh I would say soon the uh the other bikes are going to be coming down it looks like there another another one here now [Music] so it looks like they’ve actually uh closed the uh the Strand off now for this race to uh come down and there’s more there’s more lead bikes coming here now so uh we’re obviously getting very very close uh there’s some more coming here now these must be going to close all the all the different areas off that [Music] and here we go we uh we’ve got them looks like starting come uh come down here so they’re all uh they’re all blowing the horns as they coming around the corners there I haven’t seen any people in Santas we’ve got people waving there so yeah this is uh this is really really good look at this there’s all uh all different kinds of bikes here there’s a guy in a Santa outfit I don’t know I don’t know where they actually saw him there I don’t know how many bikes that are going to be uh involved in this today the rat do not going to be as many as the normally was due to the uh due to the weather this is absolutely uh fantastic with you so some bikes have got one first on some have got uh some have got [Music] two and they coming coming down the Strand there as I saying then uh they are uh they are getting across and uh and enough here let’s just see if we can get a different perspective here of uh some of the bikes as the uh they come around the corner is look at this we we’re getting even even closer to them now so this is getting getting even better look at that guy in his sand TR bit there fabulous fabulous so many uh so many bikes coming around here I’m so glad so glad of actually uh come and done this today loads and loads of uh different types of B brilliant fumes off them now as well the really really is some spe smell [Music] B more and more coming here guy there just uh waving as he uh come around there and they still coming this is just absolutely uh absolutely brilliant different one reving their engines as the uh as they come around the corner there I can say these more and more and more of them I’ve lost it’s impossible to uh count how many there’s actually being here now today but I’ll tell you now there’s been a lot there’s a guy coming here now he’s got his uh Santa suit on let’s have a look at him check him out some of the bikes are decorated up some of them on another guy with a with a santat on [Music] like I say it’s just absolutely fabulous how many many people have turned out you get we got no EX at all you get another one that’ll actually wave to you [Music] got one or two now with Santa sups on here can come around the corner as well look at [Music] this this is just fabulous [Music] I’m so glad I’ve been able to bring uh best to today and there still more and more and more coming another side to sit there I don’t know how many we have got to call it now I can say look at this one W [Music] here beautiful all these bikes are there’s some really different types of ones I’m not very good with bikes so I can’t really uh can’t really name them but look at the different ones the Suzukis there triumphs BMWs Hondas more more Santa suits here fabulous as it uh comes through probably for a veryit Chistmas music to uh this W as well make it feel a bit more uh stressy [Music] look at this one with all these waving to us here blowing their owns as they coming down there must have been hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of uh bikes now we’ve got scooters there the different scooters and all the small bikes that have just gone through there it’s amazing and this has been running now for about uh 8 [Music] minutes and I think this uh could be the uh the end of the toy run now yeah there’s the uh end car saying thank you to the star bikers fantastic so uh yeah I’m really glad I’ve been able to film you that today here in uh Longton that’s been absolutely all over for another year like I
