No particular destination in mind on this ride I’m attempting to reach Cannock chase from Gentle shaw common and back to Burntwood with using as few roads as possible, we see a few sights along the way meet a few people have some fun in unrestricted mode nave a play with the dji neo drone and see the air ambulance landed in a field and get a look around it and see it take off.. so lots to see in total we cover 26 miles, The ride will be split into however many videos it takes each one being 25 to 30 mins. hi guys i must say it’s a really nice spot be a nice spot to come with the dogs if I could figure out how to get here walking [Music] but yeah nice spot sunglasses and the backpack back on [Music] does look like it wants to go up there i’m actually going to skirt around that looks a bit steep doesn’t it so we’re going to go this way wow [Music] it looks like this track takes me to the same place [Music] yeah so we’re still heading to the same place on the map guys just a slightly less incline of a route lovely open spot there [Music] [Music] we are on the same route by the way just we’re just following slightly along the side where I should be the route I should be taking is just over to the left but this is a bit less of an incline yeah it’s still an incline but [Music] We’ve just dropped one bar in battery but that’s to be expected with the amount of hills we’ve done today [Music] look at that view oh my god that is stunning look at that [Music] yeah so you can understand why the battery has dropped we’re on top of the world [Music] unbelievable [Music] like I say guys remember we are trying to do [Music] at least 95% of the route [Music] off road which is a good test for the mapping software that I use and a good test for the bike and a good test for the battery i do actually need to run the battery down which is another reason oh hello we’re not quite we’re not quite on the track we should be but there we go anyway yeah so the last few rides I’ve done I’ve ended up back home still with 100% battery and and it really doesn’t do it it really doesn’t do it any good to keep leaving the batteries in a high state of charge so I’m hoping to get down to at least 50% today oops and then leave it at that until next time I go out and charge it up just before I go out so it gets a chance to equalize itself out a bit now one thing I am going to check is that rear wheel that rear nut that fell off once do you remember no it’s still there still tight i actually reckon that was never put on properly um cuz when the bike arrived in the box the rear wheel was already on i only had to put on the front wheel and I don’t know whether you saw one of my upgrade videos I noticed the rear one of the rear nuts had completely disappeared obviously I’d never touched them with a spanner cuz wheel was already on um so I reckon it wasn’t tightened up properly at the factory since I’ve tightened it up we’ve done roughly the same amount of miles i think we’ done I think we’ done around 200 miles when I did that upgrade and the service and discovered that nut was missing and we’ve now done 700 um 417 so that’s what it tells me if it was going to come loose again it would have done that by now um so yeah I really want me to go bike this way I think [Music] [Music] [Music] apparently we’re going onto Camp Road which is here so it looks like we have got some roads [Music] i did notice there was some roads that I could not avoid [Music] [Music] okay we are still on restricted so we can actually cruise down here at 25 30 mph quite happily [Music] i’ve only got it in assist four which is keeping me at about 25 [Music] that is nice though I must admit [Music] yeah assist four in unrestricted is 25 which I think is actually a nice a nice speed i’m not holding the cars up as much [Music] not going to keep with that Porsche am I it’s very windy down here i doubt very much you can hear it because every time I say that you can’t hear it i must say this mic mini with this little um fluffy wind deflector thing does seem to work but I can hardly hear myself right now and I’m sure you can hear me and probably can’t even hear the wind [Music] [Music] [Music] you know I’m sure I could have been just cycling up there off the road [Music] so I think this is a boo boo on my part or I could have just shifted the route to the left slightly i don’t know what happened to the calf that I um programmed in that seems to be I’ve either missed it or it’s the battery yeah we are we are recording in 2.7K i don’t record in 4K by the way guys cuz the memory card only gives me 2 hours of recording and it flattens the battery a lot quicker so I actually do that in editing i upscale it to from 2.7 to 4 we are still following that road the road actually branches to the right here and we’re branching with it she’s telling me that the road’s 250 y to my left right [Music] now we are going away from the road so I might have to assess the map again yeah we’re starting to go back on ourselves [Music] [Music] i need to have a a little look here yeah once you get used to it it’s fine um you can feel a bit of extra weight on the helmet but not a lot [Music] and if it makes the videos better than the fixed mount which I’m not going to know until I um get home and see the footage i hope it’s usable i’m sure it will be so I need to go back on this road for a short amount of time let this car come down and there’s a car coming up okay looks good
