okay let me tell you my favorite way to explore the palace of Versailles forget the guided tours and the maps rent a bike trust me there is nothing more magical than pedalling through those grand treelined paths like royalty in motion the breeze the views and the kids oh they’re obsessed they feel like they’re on an adventure straight out of a story book we rode all the way to the petite triano yes that little pink dream Marie Antoanette used to sneak off to and the best part you can stop whenever you want picnic by the water play in the beautiful grounds after biking we had lunch at La Petit Venise they had amazing pasta and of course we had to enjoy an apparel spritz so yes wear your sheicst sneakers and rent the bike your inner child and your actual children will thank
