A few days ago, Josip decided to surprise me with some kind of trip. Well, I’m still not sure where exactly we’re going today. Can you say something more? Uh, let’s go to Bledajo. Let’s go to Bled. Why are we going there? We are going there because I have returned from a cycling tour with guests and I think I have three bicycles left in Bled, and we are going to pick them up. Since the trip was paid for, we took the opportunity to go for a ride to make one loop, which I normally do with guests so that I can see a bit of Domagoj and I also go for a ride with a friend instead of with guests. It will be nicer for us. So that’s basically it. Loop, loop around Bled, around Bled. Yes, now we are already quite close to the destination, we have how much, maybe half an hour, huh? 40 minutes maybe. 40 minutes, we are slowly approaching Ljubljana and then we go to get the bikes and get ready and have a nice ride. The weather is great as you can see. Fantastic to drive. It’s not hot, it’s not winter. I think it will be a great day. Well, now it shows 19° degrees in the car, what is the top of the peaks and that’s what Domagoj said, let’s first go to Bled to Polka Dot Cycling to get my bikes, after that a circle around Bled and then we’ll take you to lunch if we have time and maybe another surprise. I attack you all the time, behind, forward, left and right. I’m unpredictable! Let’s hear it, surprise me. We have done 4.5 km, we still have 12 km of climbing. Let’s go to Pokljuka. I think their biathlon center is there . After that, the descent to Bohinj, to Lake Bohinj and then straight to Bled. It’s practically flat. There may be some hupser. There are also good bike trails there. The route is 80 km long with 1300 or 1400 m of ascent. So it’s not really a joke? Not at my age! I mean, it exceeds 1,000 m. You know how we always count – 100 km 1,000 meters, that it is already considered – hilly. You can see in front of us what awaits us. So, this route is not exactly whooping cough. As much as he presented it to me as a trip, we are going on a trip today. And for some it will be a trip, and for others it will be a working day, it seems to me, huh? Well, it’s been a working day for me since the beginning of the day! Let’s go “mining” and we’ll see. I don’t know, he’s always smiling behind me, next to me. He already started saving from the first kilometer. It could be anything today, it seems to me. Look, we have another 10 km of climbing and later some whoops. So, the trip is for the beautiful nature and view and because this is not an everyday ride for us. This is whoopser now in front of us? Yes, it’s not a joke. We will give you some advice, what to visit, where to rent a bike in Bled and some small technicalities, so that you can repeat this route. We’ll put Domogo’s Strava below so you have a route. Yes, I noticed that, that people started questioning, that we never put a route where we drive, especially for these recommendations that we give. So here, after this video, we will start putting. So I’ve never seen that fairy tale, that cartoon, that movie… How do you know? I imagine it that way because it’s the Alps. It’s just different. This camera won’t, nor any other can portray it. It simply needs to be driven away. Come there, especially on a bike, because you go slowly, because you can’t go fast on these climbs, and you really enjoy it. I mean show me this. This is it nothing, this is just “warming up”. As we joked a while ago, we see this in Žumberka, right? Is that right? Well, not really, because this is still higher. A little is still better. It’s another level. Now mainly in front of us is the biathlon center of Pokljuka, Prokljuka as it is already called. Isn’t that the same? They are not the same locations. I don’t know how to say it exactly. Is it with R or without R. Well, I think it’s Pokljuka,. Now we look silly. It doesn’t even matter. Before that center, we turn left towards Bohinj. We didn’t stay long because there are tourists and then we headed along the bike path to the village of Kamnje in Domaćija Majer’ca. We shortened the route a bit because we didn’t want to see all the touristy things. We decided to go for coffee and then to Bled. Well, that’s how it is here. This is a fantasy. What is Europe to you! Fantasy my man! This is the river Sava Bohinjka below us, which flows into Sava Prava. Now turn left. I was there the other day. The same affordable prices as in Ema. The portions are a little smaller, but it’s still authentic Slovenian food with a modern twist. After drinking coffee and taking a short break, we reached the end of our ride, the beautiful Lake Bled, along the bike paths and various paths. And here we are at the end of the ride, which was somewhat shorter in the end. A little shorter than planned. Here we are. Behind us we can see this beauty of Lake Bled. Here, I’m here for the first time, so I find this fascinating to look at. Josip scolds me for not being so nice. I’m kidding, I’m kidding. Here, I was at that location for the first time today. It was wonderful for me. You really have to look at the beauties of nature, you want some sights on the way to various catering facilities.
