hi boys and girls matt from the Real Toy Shop again what have we got this time well today we’ve got an old girl for you and you wait till you hear this strike up it sounds lovely old 2000 Harley-Davidson heritage soft tail come and have a look this one’s not perfect but she’s 25 years old and she looks nice really nice color really really makes it stand out and again as I’ve said with the Road Kings the heritage applies the same nothing really dating it so this could be 2020 it could be 1950 the color scheme and everything else just no digitalness on them even the later ones the speedo slightly different but the look is the same so we’ve got a bit of distress on top of that cover see that and where else was the sun i’ve seen some more there’s a little bit on that pedestal there look see that looking around the pedestal just in the corner and it seems to be probably where you get the water trapped after you’ve um parked it and cleaned it or whatever there’s a little bit on the bottom of them uh push rod covers there look but on the whole couple of covers which you could change i you get those covers a pain in the bum really because you got to take the exhaust off but you you can I think you can get that one out maybe not but still they’re inexpensive by comparison but just a pain in the bum to do so we never get the chance to get through that many bikes we can’t make them all look like brand new so some stuff you just have to live with a little bit and to be honest I don’t think this really spoil when you’re given the age of the bike which is year 2000 so she is now 25 years old i know slightly older than the old Road King but this one which is the big nicity about it is it’s on carburetors now I know they can be a pain in the bum a carburetor but on a Harley what it does mean is it allows you to get the idle down it smells right the burning of the fuel and everything else and it just sounds lovely the nice potato potato and we’ll have a listen to that in a minute some covers over the plugs there old school fuel tap down there harley-davidson gear rod linkage and we’ve got fancy seats on it obviously the bags chrome foot plate covers fancy foot plate chrome and rubber we’ve got chrome fork lowers which I always love i don’t know why all Harleys don’t have those to be honest it um really does suit the bike better than the uh the aluminium ones that they put on wheels look good you got twisted spokes in there look see them nice twisted spokes so someone it’s not like anyone’s hated the bike they’ve obviously loved it up front we’ve got the spots we’ve got the indicators i’ve got the little peaks on and one thing when I was round up here we’ve we’ve got chrome pedestals and chrome levers and chrome switch gear surrounds as well all this stuff yeah it’s pretty dear we’ve got lower risers on there wider beach bars it’s got a real good look to it really really good look and again your front tire is good your back tire is good as well fins and stuff on the engine yeah they’re looking pretty good given the age um say these these chrome covers may well be aftermarket that might be why they’ve gone a little bit got a bit detritus on them but yeah you’ve got to be you’ve got to be looking and we are really poking the camera in there aren’t we whoop let’s have a look so that’s going to show them up more love the seat with the studs on nice and comfy you’ve got the lift to ride logo on your bar and back rest and chrome fender ends on them you got studded studded back rest there as well i’m dying to let you listen to this bike i really am any comments you’ve got on the bike which ones you prefer the 1450 twin cams the Evos whether you like a 1450 on cabs or injection you just drop it below at the same time see if you can guess the mileage cuz I can’t remember if you drop it in the comments below we’ll have a little game can’t we now this one I fitted it was been my good friend’s bike for about a year and we fitted for him you’re just starting to struggle a little bit with uh pulling the clutch and stuff so we fitted an easy clutch in this one as well and it does make a hell of a difference if you’ve not fitted one before and a brand new clutch cable as well and now you’ve got I know it’s easy to show it but one finger i’m not showing you look one finger so a little bit of a difference to uh you know the standard clutch pull feel more in line with a hydraulic one so there you go look at it look at the bike what can we do for you on the bike well if you’ve got a part exchange please visit the website motorcycle courier we use if it’s just the one bike going to M&S obviously it makes no sense for me to take it on its own so that’s that side of things right before I make it make a noise which is
