welcome to Eurobike 2025 i’m here in search of the latest bikes tech gadgets and innovations that I can possibly get my hands on so let’s go see what we can find this is a bike from a brand called AO Cycles and it’s their gravel bike and they’ve been hand making bikes since 2010 and no they didn’t forget to install the seat tube here this is just how they’ve designed the bike it’s made from stainless steel the idea behind it is to allow it to have as much compliance and flex as possible to help keep the rider comfortable it’s almost entirely made from stainless steel the idea behind it to make it super reliable and that you’ve got a bike that’s going to last you for a very long time now the details and finishing on this bike are like second to none one thing that really stand out to me is how thin the dropouts are at the back here and it’s all bolted together and it looks so blooming cool and then if you have a look up at the fork the way that the fork blades come down and taper down to the dropouts is again a really nice little design and if you’re into the little details which of course I am we’ve also got a copper badge down on the bottom bracket junction and on the head tube too which over time is going to weather and really give you that sort of feeling of like authenticity and a product which you know you’re going to have and is going to evolve over time take a look at this bad boy so it’s on the Nicolai stand and it’s the GX which is their gravel bike now things that really caught my eye standing out here the beautifully machined section of the frame from aluminium as the rest of the frame is made we’ve got the section at the top of the chain stays a section down by the bottom bracket and the dropouts now these are machined from a solid piece of aluminium and the idea is just really to utilize that technology so you can get the shaping and the design exactly how you like it while maintaining strength and rigidity now this bike is set up with your traditional group set and gearing that you find on most bikes if we go up here well we can see there’s a slightly different version utilizing the gates belt drive and the pinion gearbox system so this one is called the Argon GX GPI now the idea behind this is to really make a sort of simplistic design which is robust ready to travel everywhere and you’ve got minimal things that could possibly go wrong and minimal maintenance too typically this adds a little bit of extra weight onto the frame but if you’re after robust and reliability you’re not so worried about that in terms of extra weight okay we’ve stopped by to see Shimano here because there is some big news so GRXD2 one has now gone completely wireless with a total overhaul on the rear derailure so those of you who are coming from the mountain bike world will perhaps recognize the silhouettes and shape and some of the tech which is used here because a few weeks back it was launched on the mountain bike side of things with XTR XT and Dior so here we’ve got a one by system is now completely wireless and it’s designed to utilize some of the mountain bike technology and also the existing DI2 12speed GRX components which have been out for a little while now now the big changes here as I said it’s now fully wireless so you’ve got a battery integrated neat and tidy inside the rear derailure body you’ve got a dual spring clutch system here helping to keep the chain retained and super tight and this is designed as I said to work with mounted bike cassettes here we’ve got a 10 to 51 to cassette and it uses the micro spline technology now linked in with this revised and updated rear derailer there are also two other new products so you’ve got a one by only left hand lever which is essentially the same as the two by setup with the buttons removed which saves you a whopping 19.5 g and then also there’s a new wheel set out here so GRX have a carbon wheel set available in their range as well and now there’s a more affordable aluminium wheel set with a weight just over 2,000 grams which gives you the option to run the Micros freehub body or the HGL freehub body if you want to utilize those road cassettes as well when you think of folding bikes with small wheels you think of commuting this one however was ridden by someone trying to complete a 1,000 km gravel race which is basically like three unbounds in a row which I could not possibly get my head around anyway turns out it perhaps wasn’t quite the bike for the job cuz he didn’t quite finish but it did do very well 700 km on this thing mind-blowing eh if you want a bike that can literally do anything and everything this could well be the bike from you is brand new from Auba and it’s called the Muga we’ve got pretty much everything you could ever think of encased into one bike so we’ve got full suspension we’ve got big wheels we’ve got big chunky tires we’ve got integrated rear lights we got a Bosch ebike system we got a gates belt drive we’ve got an hidden automatic internal rear geared hub here we got racks we got a rack that can go on the front we could pretty much do anything on this bike and I think it is super super cool and it’s almost giving you a a new breed of adventure bikes which can also head off road but equally at home on the city streets and meaning you can transport all your shopping and luggage about you can commute to work i mean it looks amazing doesn’t it internal gearbox tech is absolutely fascinating so we’ve stopped by the pinion stand here and this is a cutaway of the internal gearbox that I saw on the Nikolai gravel bike earlier you’ve got the gates belt drive sprocket on the output and on the input you’ve got the crank turning in and it’s controlled electronically this one is from the latest TRP shifters and the way that this works all encased and sealed inside it’s absolutely fascinating to see now typically it’s not the sort of tech which we really see utilized on performance road bikes but it’s really suited to bikes which are needing to be really reliable and robust durable and because the good thing is here everything is encased and sealed inside you’ve pretty much got zero maintenance to do and um it shifts super super fast hopefully we can start to see this tech utilized on more bikes cuz I think it’s so cool check this out it’s the Dhon V and it’s the brand’s first road bike now you might be familiar with this brand from seeing folding bikes and that’s where I first heard of them but this is their first go road bike and I think we can all agree it’s a pretty striking design the idea behind this unique design is that it runs in a straight line from the rear stays all the way up to the headset and that’s designed to increase stiffness as much as possible they say stiffness is increased by 16% however I don’t quite know what that’s compared to the frame is UDH compatible and it’s actually named the Vevel Dawn which stands for bike king the fork is also incredibly chunky and robust up front and um it’s actually like a super unique looking design and the paint job is cool as well two updates from classified here one of them being pretty damn big news and that is their integration into Shimano which means you can use your Shimano shifters to control the classified hub which previously wasn’t available now you’re able to use the classified app to then link up your Shimano shifters and you can also recognize the classified hub in the Shimano app to help optimize and tune your setup but in addition to this launch and Shimano integration they’ve also made a new lightweight cassette from classified to integrate with all of the Shimano road group sets and they’re said to make it even lighter than the previous cassette now they’ve got it displayed on a number of different bikes here one of them being this beautiful standard road bike and to my left they’ve also got this absolutely crazy Pinerella time trial bike that’s been used by team Inos and they’ve used this massive one by carbon fiber chain ring to really utilize the two by technology encased within that classified hub look at this absolute unit of a bike uh big headlight as well be safe be seen check this crazy tech out at the TQ stand so it’s their smallest most compact and lightest ebike motor and battery system now here it’s fitted in the brand new Canyon Endures Onfly which is said to be the lightest e-road bike in the world now if you want to find out more about the bike and the motor we’ve got a video over on GCN Tech which is out now taking a first look at it but the tech inside this thing is absolutely crazy to get it so small and light it’s said to provide up to 200 W of natural feeling assistance for around 100 km worth of riding for most riders and it should be good for about 2,000 m of elevation gain now it works using this crazy tech inside called a harmonic pinion ring which you can see inside is amazing how it works as it all rotates round now the system weight is said to be just 2.7 kg which is what helps to keep the weight of the overall bike so low okay we’ve stopped by Seed to Peak and there are loads of updates here around cargo systems for road and gravel bikes there’s absolutely loads of stuff to talk through but we’re going to start with the Z-Rack well here you’ve got the normal Z-Rack with the bags using the MTX 2.0 mounting system at the top you’ve got the option of mounting on the through axles or onto the frame for aluminium frames then also over here you’ve got the Z-Rack Essentials which uses a slimmed down mounting system at the top and uses something called the U shell which means you’re able to mount lots of different things onto the back of your bike now the way this works is through a really innovative little system you got a little threaded nut at the back spring loaded and then you just uncip it and remove it from your bike the ability to mount the Z-ranks using the through axle on the back of your bike makes it pretty much available to every single bike that’s out there you just have to choose the right through axle width and thread pitch for your bike and there’s also an updated through axle available for UDH compatible frames and then if we move forwards to the front of the bike well this thing is looking so cool so it’s the Element dry handlebar bag and you’ve got loads of different accessories and mounting points here it’s got this real nice rigid structure to it you’ve got the option of putting your head unit on the front Insta 360 camera you can put a light on the front you can put lights on the side and if you flip this thing up like look at that you got really nice hinges robust rigid structure to it can easily remove it off the bike then over here we’ve got the handlebar rack where you can put things like a dry bag on you can put a sleeping bag on here if you’re going on your big adventures with a 4.5 kg load rating this is the stuff of dreams for Connor new gravel bike from Villia here it’s the SLR rave ID2 second generation of this bike big changes here around tire clearance and improved aerodynamics now if we look here at the down tube we can see this crazy shaping and profiling which comes really wide in order to try to help improve the air flow around the bottle you would assume now also fitted to this bike is the latest GRXD2 1x fully wireless rear derailure compatible with the latest XTR and XT Micros cassettes now I’ve also mentioned about this already this group set so let’s focus more about the bike now I did see this when I was out unbad but unfortunately I didn’t get to show you guys the bike but it looks absolutely fantastic in this what I would say is almost like a British racing green color and um I think it’s a nod to the fact that we’re seeing lots of brands take their gravel bikes and try to make them more racy and more aerodynamic also um UDH compatible as well okay there you go eurobike day one over and out but it’s not over and out completely from us because we’re going to have more videos looking at more cool bike tech that we can find so subscribe to GCN Tech and turn on notifications because there’ll be another video out very soon and please do get involved in the comments section down below and let me know what was your favorite bit of bike or bike tech which I picked out right I’m out of it see you five nights

  1. #AskGCNTech Hello GCN Tech Gurus! How often should one top off and/or clean their tubless tire set up? I have a two year old bike that I have topped off the sealant once and have never cleaned. Is there a suggested maintenance schedule for this? I have around 1500 miles on this tubless set up. Thank you for all the great content you produce! I learn so much!

  3. Hi..Good content. BUT can you reupload with better audio. It's utterly unacceptable unwatchable unappealing undesirable unwanted. Thanks..

  4. Man… having a unique design sets you apart from the competition but sometimes, doing too much is a bad thing. What I'm trying to say is, these bikes are ugly.

  5. Please stop making music louder than the voice, it's annoying when we can hardly hear the presenter but then your version of elevator music screams back at us.

Thank you for the video, cheers

  6. Dohan putting flat reflector pedals on their first ever road bike presentation stand kinda tells you all you need to know about it….

  7. I don't think you need another person saying this, but the sound balance is detracting from the whole thing. Almost needs subtitles just for how busy it is. Are you sure you even needs a backing track?
