Take a little bike ride with us to some of the prettiest lavender fields, just below Lacoste. In the last week, the fields have turned purple and the scent is incredible.
good morning from today’s postcard in Provence um we’ve come out from an early morning bike ride the sun’s just up it is the best time of day at this time of year to be out we’re in the heatwave and I’ll just show you where we are so we’ve followed our favorite road and we’ve come up through Bona where the market was just setting up it’s Friday morning um the lavender scent as we were coming up was glorious and we’ve just stopped here a few years ago these fields of cherry orchards which was always beautiful but obviously those have now gone and this whole area now in this big sweeping bend is filled with lavender just below the little village of Lacost up there um which is a beautiful place to amble around and I was there last weekend with a friend and the lavender this morning is just full of bees and so scented it’s making this bike ride an absolute joy so wherever you are have a lovely day and we’ll speak to you again soon bye for now
