It was a great day for a ride I had to stop and get a lot of water and there was a couple points that I got into the river to cool down a bit. I stopped to eat twice and had some really great food from Its Nutts (texas burger) and a solid breakfast burrito from QuickTrip.
Theres lots of food and water on the route at convenience stores but a lot of the places wont let you fill up on water at the soda fountain. And a lot of wildlife along the canal trail. I saw turtles, blue herons, and lots of hawks and other birds and a lot of chipmunks too.
