I leave a paradise like beach to return to Mahebourg to show you the culinary wonders of Mauritius. First, we try some noodles (the famous mine bouille), then some common street food and then we finish our food tour at Kim boulettes, a wonderful place where you can have among the best dumplings in the world. The food in Mauritius is really on another level.

Mauritius, Indian Ocean. Morning, my friends. From Mauritius. And as you see, I managed to find a Paradise
beach here in Mauritius with nobody. Private resorts everywhere. But it’s a public beach. Look at that. There is just a few people there. A big resort there. Beautiful white sand
made from dead corals. And if I don’t want to
burn, I need to get going. So I’ve lost my sunglasses,
so I’ve got new ones. I only found female sunglasses. And I’ve got a new bicycle, much better. This beach is a true hidden Paradise. Let’s go! Bye bye. There’s nobody here. Wonderful! So we are going for a two days
cycling food tour of Mauritius, guys. And my first challenge is
going to be to exit this place. You see, I have a beautiful pine forest. I think the beach is public,
but the access was private, so I had to sneak past a private road. A lovely Paradise hidden
behind the airport. Let’s go to MahΓ©bourg, guys. Let’s go to eat. You see, that might be an access
to the other part of the beach. And that’s where I came from. Oh, my ass is painful already. You see, there is the
police on my right here. Restricted area. Okay, I made it out. Good. So the sunglasses, basically, it’s the only glasses I found that do
protect your eyes and that I found in MahΓ©bourg for a reasonable price. Here is a big resort. Vanilla plantations. As you see, the airport is just there. I hate bikes. Man, it’s so painful. The position is so awkward
and uncomfortable, man. This makes me like my tricycle much more. This is so uncomfortable. And the bike is good actually,
the handling is really nice. But the position on an upright bike.
It’s a nightmare. Welcome to Mauritius. Beautiful temple. I really like MahΓ©bourg It doesn’t feel touristy. It feels really real, really
Mauritian, really nice. So we are back in MahΓ©bourg. Ay my butt! It’s funny. They have these
electric scooters everywhere. Okay, so now that I’m seriously hungry after two
hours cycling this morning to go to the beach, let’s go to eat finally. Here we have the beautiful
flag of Mauritius. Okay, so I’m very lucky like always. the first place is closed. Coin Cassecroute Here it’s supposed to
be nice, but it’s closed It’s been three times I come
here, every time it’s closed. And when it’s open, I’m not hungry. AΓ―e, aΓ―e, aΓ―e, bad luck… No. Come on! And this is my backup option,
which is closed as well. What the hell?
Why is everything closed today? Man! So today is Tuesday, so if you want to eat on Tuesday
in Mauritius, you cannot eat. What the hell? I want to have this, Mine Bouille,
this is typical from Mauritius. I found a place that is open. – Hello, it’s for eating.
– Yes. There’s rice, fried
rice, and boiled noodles. – Do you have boiled noodles?
– Yes. What do you have it with? Chicken, lamb, octopus, Salmon an curries here. Octupus (creol name), what’s that? What’s octopus (creol name)? Octopus? I don’t know. – Is it seafood?
– Yes, seafood. It’s seafood, okay. I’ll take octopus. Ah, that’s okay, octopus. I’ll take… Sorry? Octopus. – Boiled noodles with octopus.
– Yes. And this, what’s this? – Is it chili cake?
– Yes, it’s chili cake. I’ll take three of them. What do you have to drink? Pepsi or Coke. I’ll take a Coke. – For here?
– For here, please. Great, thank you very much. Can I have a little bit of… Yes, great. Thank you very much. It’s been a very long time
since I had a Coke, guys. Coke is very good. Boiled noodles? – Do you have a spoon or something like that?
– Yes. Thank you very much. Boiled noodles with octopus. – Octopus.
– Octopus. Typical. So you’ve seen we found a beautiful
beach in the end in Mauritius. But for me, the main, main,
main thing in Mauritius is food. Chili cake. That’s really good. Oh the sauce is so good. So straight ahead we have the market. So Mine Bouille is the noodles basically. So good. Fantastic. The octopus is awesome. It’s good to be hungry when you eat. A piece
of octopus with some good noodles and a nice tomato sauce. Oh so good. We have some chutney here. I love chutney. Oh my god. Fantastic. I was so hungry. So delicious. I love octopus also, I just love it. Oh, the juice is so good. How much do I owe you? It was very good. Boiled noodles with octopus? Yes, it was octopus, boiled
noodles with octopus. 3 chili cakes. – And a Coke.
– And Coke? – Yes, 200.
– 200. – Was it good?
– Very, very good. Perfect, here you go. Thank you, see you next time. Thank you very much, have a good day. Goodbye. I’m still hungry, so let’s see if I can
find another place to eat a bit more. And we have an Indian flag behind with
the wheel of Ashoka in the middle. Hello. Good. How are you? Thirst palace. Oh, there is some…
There’s a bit of food here. – Hello.
– Hello. What do you have here? Is this… It’s spin-roll, cheese. – What is it?
– Cheese. Over there is chicken and fish. Over there is chicken and
fish and here is cheese, okay. There is pate and chicken, fish samosa. I’ll take one cheese, one fish. And spin-roll. Spin-roll, one cheese, one fish. One cheese, one chicken. One chicken, okay yes. – And What’s this?
– It’s chicken. Chicken, I’ll take one like this, yes. And then this is chicken and fish. Give me two fish here. – Two fish.
– Samosa. And then over there? And then, what’s this? It’s half-moon cheese. Give me one too. Give me two like this. – Two?
– And that’s all. Do you want chili, tomato? Chili. Only chili? – And both, chili and tomato, yes.
– Chili and tomato. How much is it in total? – 67.
– 67, okay. Here you go. Perfect, okay. – Thank you.
– Thank you very much. – Have a good day, goodbye.
– Thank you. Okay.
So how do we eat? Do I eat all this? It’s like you don’t need to do anything,
and you’re sweating all the time. It’s so hot here. Let’s just sit here. Oh, come on, guys. Let’s try this one.
Chili and tomato on top of it, cheese. That’s good. And it’s spicy. Wow! Very good. Let’s try a fish samosa. Good as well! Delicious. Oh spicy. Let’s try a spring roll. Some sauce. Chicken. So good. And this thing. Wow! Let’s go to a third
wonderful place here in MahΓ©bourg, for typical Mauritian food again. Kim Boulettes Yes. It’s open. I’m very happy because
this is the best one. This is the list. That’s all the
flavours of the dumplings, basically. – Hello.
– Hello. What do you have here then? These 2, vegetables. – It’s tofu with cheese.
– Tofu, yeah. – Seafood.
– Okay. Chicken with mushrooms. Marlin. – What’s this?
– Marlin, fish. Marlin, okay. This one is chicken and shrimp. – Chicken and shrimp and you have fish over there, right?
– Fish is there too. – This one is fish too.
– Oh yes? – And fish too.
– Okay. I’ll take one like this. – Is it to take away?
– Sorry? – Are you going to take it away?
– No, for here. – Yes.
– Yes. I’ll take one fish like this. Give me one tofu. – I’ll take seafood here.
– One seafood. I’ll take one of each
of the vegetables here. – This one?
– Two like this, yes. Two like this too. One of the small ones
over there, yes, that. – This one?
– Yes, this one. – Well, I’m not counting.
– Yes, don’t count, okay. Give me two more in vegetables too. And two more fish. – This one?
– Yes. There you go. Chili inside, spoon inside. Okay, how much is it? 130. 130, is that it? Thank you! So inside, there is the… I don’t know.
I put everything… fish sauce. I don’t know what it is. Soy sauce maybe. Chili. Okay. That should be enough. And this. Wonderful! I’m still hungry. So you see the mix… the dumplings… mixed
between Chinese and Indian style. Oh! It’s spicy. I love it. Let’s try the vegetable one, I think. Oh that’s so good. It’s so fantastic. I love dumplings. That’s one of my favorite
foods anywhere in the world. I guess that’s the chicken
mushroom, maybe something like that. Wow! Fantastic! Now that’s the mushroom thing. Wow. Oh that’s another one, I don’t know. The texture, the flavors.
It’s all fantastic. Fish ball. Very elastic. Kim Boulettes, guys, in MahΓ©bourg. Let’s try the fish sausage somehow. Cut it. Hello. This is heaven. Let’s try the tofu. I love tofu. Oh, wow.
It’s really good, this tofu. Wow! It’s very, very savory. I don’t know what’s this one. Fish ball, fantastic! The bouchon is the vegetable one. Oh. Some tourists passing by. Let’s try the seafood one. Very tasty, very elastic
also, very chewy. Fantastic! The end of the cheese ball. The last one, the Pork or lamb mushroom. Wow! Very savory.
Very full of flavors. Oh, wow! I love mushrooms, especially
the black Chinese mushrooms. It was funny. The owner came to sit on my
table just when I was filming. It’s a bit weird to make weird faces
and so much noise when you eat. And you have someone
sitting so close to you. Some fishermen in the
waterfront of MahΓ©bourg. I really, really enjoy MahΓ©bourg.
It’s so, so nice. So, Kim Boulettes, Kim
Boulettes, it’s unbelievable. Honestly, it’s among the best
dumplings I had in my life. They are so good. The mix, the fusion between Chinese, Indian,
a bit of African, a bit of French also, all these flavors and cultures mixed
into the food here in Mauritius. Honestly, the food in Mauritius for me
is the great highlight of the island. Sorry, I don’t include the
English in the mix for the food because… for me, England has just zero culinary
culture. But it’s just my opinion.

  1. Without the 3-legged cycle, this channel has become the "Best Ever Food Tasting Show", the man is just missing a bandana and signing out with "Peace!"

  2. Thanks for the forecast! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

  3. You should go visite Tribeca Mall(biggest mall in the indian ocean) , ssr botanical garden , chamarel seven coloured earth , flic en flacq beach , le monde underwater waterfall , blue bay beach , mont choisy beach , Ganga Talao(grand bassin) , Caudan Waterfront (Port Louis) , Port Louis Market , Aapravasi Ghat

These are mostly the most popular tourist attraction , there are many more i could keep going but these are my favorite 😊❀

  4. Hi Yves from LouisTrichardt, South Africa. As usual, we are enjoying your tour. Mauritius is beautiful, and the food looks delicious. The blue sea reminds me of the sea at Vilanculus in Mozambique.
I really hope that when you start your journey back to France, you will do it via KwaZulu Natal ( Durban) and Mozambique.
You would really enjoyed Mozambique. It is very similarly to Angola.
From Maputo you can travel up to Inhambanne, Vilanculos ( to visit the Bazurotu Islands) and Beira.
From Beira you can then travel to the Chimanimani highlands in Zimbabwe snd from there to Namibia via the Caprivi strip and then to Angola to continue your return trip via the west coast of Africa.
Time is not your boss and it will really be a pity to mis Mozambique and the eastern part of Zimbabwe.
As you already know the Durban area, you can give it a mis and rather travel from the West Cape to Maputo via the eastern Free State and Mpumalanga province of South Africa.
So, bon voyages en toute sΓ©curitΓ© !

  5. Pepsi is better. Last time I saw you you were on a different kind of bike in Africa area. Best regards from Northwest California USA
