English Subtitels available. Ich habe mir nach langem Wunsch ein Lastenrad gekauft. Es wurde das Larry vs. Harry eBullitt mit dem E6100 Motor, Alpine 8, 418Wh Batterie und Cargobox (inkl. BBX Sidepanels). Das Rad habe ich über Kleinanzeigen erstanden, jedoch stand es in Berlin. Also na klar, früh in den Zug nach Berlin und dann mit dem Lastenrad nach Hause. Nicht ganz ohne, aber seht selbst.

Good Morning. It is 5:30am My plan today is the following… … to pick up a cargo bike. I have bought (reserved) this cargo bike yesterday on classifieds. My goal today is to go to Berlin, pick up the cargo bike and ride it all the way back to Leipzig. Plan is to be at home at 6:00pm. That means being on the cargo bike for roughly 170km I’m exited to see if it works. I am prepared for all eventualities. I’m in good spirit and with the support of the motor, all should work out smoothly. Let’s go. I just exited the subway somewhere in Berlin. Maybe 3 to 5 minutes to go now. Then check out the cargo bike and then we’ll see if everything works. And if so, we ride straight to Leipzig. But first and foremost, snack time! There it is, the beautiful Larry vs. Harry eBullitt. Everything work out easily. Awesome bike. I walk around it. There we have an eBullitt with the Shimano Alpine 8 internal geared hub and the E6100 Steps motor. Also we have a wonderful cargo box. Let’s open that thing. Tada. One extra battery, the yellow BBX side panels and the battery charger. I’m excited to ride it back home. It is 8:41am, roughly 9 hours left to make it. I think it is possible. Let’s make it ready and let’s go. I think we are ready. The cargo bike looks dope. Let’s go. And the journey begins. Roughly 165km to Leipzig. First goal is to get outside of Berlin. Should not take too long. 9am now, 6pm I want to be at home. I think it will work out. Let’s go. The weather turned pretty bad, pretty quick. There was some elevation gain the last couple of KMs. Wasn’t as easy as I expected. But already done 70km already. Next city its break time and getting reenergized. The world should look a lot better then. Besides that, easy peasy. 4pm. Somewhere in the middle of the Bad Dübener Heath and still 60km to go. The goal to be at home at 6pm will be hard to accomplish. But I’ll try everything. I’m at a highway now with no bike path and a lot of traffic. But we’ll get through that, with that wide frame and the lights everything should be alright. Bad Düben. Still 40km to go. But 6pm is out of reach with 40km to go and one hour left. But don’t worry for long and let’s go. My deadline of 6pm passed. Still 20km to go. 7pm is possible. In retrospect it was a too tight timeline. But let’s get the last 20km at dusk. DONE! 7pm sharp! Perfect.. almost. One hour too late but still. Awesome. Let’s check the stats. 168km and 7 hours and 17 minutes pure riding time Was an awesome ride, but I’m more exhausted than I expected. But was super fun and now… …the GoPro died and I went straight in the bath tub. Awesome ride!
