They ask why I love cycling — because it’s a team sport that still lets you be completely yourself.
It’s about triumphing over struggle. Achieving what sometimes feels impossible.
It’s about remembering everyone who’s no longer cycling, but was once part of your team… your friend.
It’s about believing — right up to the finish line — that you can always do better.
In this sport, there are no losers. To even show up, you have to be stronger than your own shadow.
I admire them deeply. I could never be one of them — with my fears, past traumas, and let’s be honest… I hate fixed cleats 🤣🤦♀️
Day 1?
They climbed the same hill twice.
Once in 30°C heat and blazing sun.
Then again in a thunderstorm and heavy rain.
Me?
I was vibing as the backpack 😎
