I got flat on my way to work. I pulled over and was going to replace the tube but saw a small hole. I thought it might be best to replace the tire and tube. I carried it to a nearby bike shop. The bike shop recommended just replacing the tube so they did that and I went on my merry way.
However, I still have the small hole. Not sure why I missed it at the shop. Is this okay? It lasted the remainder of my ride but that was less than 2 miles.
For more context, this is a Specialized Roubaix Pro tire 32mm on a 2021 specialized diverge. I bought this bike used so I don’t know how many miles the tire has on it total but I have put 420 miles on it so far. I bike primarily on roads in Chicago.
If I replace it, I would use a 38mm gravel king SS that I already have.
