good evening everyone and welcome back to the National Speedway Stadium for round number five of the World Speedway Championship that is Manchester we’re looking down on Great Britain’s number three city and we had a wonderful event here for round number four last night with Dan Buley coming through in flying colors and we are going to repeat it part two of this double header here in the National Speedway Stadium this evening crowd coming in fabulous atmosphere the weather has behaved we had a little bit of rain earlier on but we are set fair as we build up to racing commencing at 7:00 tonight what a night it was track looking absolutely respplendant down there i say they’ve done a marvelous job of knocking it back into shape let’s take a look at the Canada for 2025 we are four rounds into a 10 round series and there are the first four rounds and the first four winners beauty coming through in flying colors last night can he repeat here this evening 24 hours later brilliant stuff from him but we caught up with Dan Bey before the weekend began we’re in West Cumbria north of England and we’re about 15 20 minutes from the Lake District but this is the part of England that no one knows exists really if someone asked me where I’m from I just say Manchester because it’s easier there was probably like a time when I started Speedway which yeah I didn’t really want to be here kind of thing like I wanted to go somewhere else and and like I’ve traveled more and been to so many places it’s just cool to to come back and you realize like there’s just so many positive things about being here i just like winning races and riding my bike to be honest but the ultimate like goal of racing speedway is obviously to to win a world title if you win races eventually you should be world champions starting place dan a massive night last night a huge victory how are you feeling now to go again yeah it’s a new day and we picked a terrible place for this interview but yeah looking forward to it and Dan generally though how much of a mental challenge is it when you’ve got that much adrenaline that much emotion and you’ve got to reset 24 hours later yeah it’s uh it is a big deal I guess but at the same time it’s no different having a GP and then Polish League the next day so um just business as usual speedway riders were used to doing a lot of meetings any changes what’s the approach tonight uh not too much same same track same bikes but uh let’s watch the track see how it see how it changes and we know this track can change but again you’re so used to that let’s see if it can be an advantage again this home crowd even bigger tonight are going to want to see you back on that top step yeah you’re only as good as your last one so got to keep it up dan thank you and good luck tonight thank you yeah great to hear from last night’s winner Dan Buy of course he is hot property right now the man from Cumbria looking to make the final once again here 24 hours later after winning last night brilliant performance we will be able to look back on last night’s meeting very shortly for you but beyond Doyle looking to improve after a disappointing evening last night but back from injury not easy for the former world champion doyle of course world champion back in 2017 his team hard at work jason Doyle of course who is a fiercely determined rider will be looking to go well tonight so uh let’s look back on last night’s Mbury heat heat so there we go what a night it was for Dan Beley and here’s the world championship after four rounds smick has a nine-point lead over Brady Curts who made the rostroom last night great effort from the Australian back from injury dan Buley of course moving into third place jack Holder in fourth freddy Ling moving into fifth place the loser last night was the desperately disappointing Andre Leadev’s looking to bounce back tonight lambert in seventh maxf Rick it was a nearly night for Max Rick he had four wonderful rides and then just slipped up at the back end of the evening kubera Quebec Vaselik Thompson Mickelson leon Madson of course a wild card in Prague patrick Dudek likewise leon Matson wasn’t a wild card excuse me he was an injury replacement for Jason Doyle huge crowd in sunshines out the Manchester weather just about behaving there has been threats of thunderstorms but nothing in the air at the moment and an expectant crowd i’m sure they’re going to be royally entertained once again so let’s make our way down to the pits area where we’ve got Greg Hancock joined by Tony Cardson well Tony it’s uh round five of the Speedway Grand Prix and uh if we do a quick count back or look back at the memories from the beginning looking at uh looking at um the first round in um in Lancet there when in Andre Levitz I mean he had a real serious run and wanted to prove his point that he could make it and he wants to be a GP rider permanently i mean what an emotional finish yeah it sure was Greg and I mean you could really see all in his eyes after doing that uh fantastic run how much it really meant to him but I guess he’s been working out so hard to reach that point so when it all came through I mean we actually could see some tears and not all the time you see that kind of emotions going on all the time huh yeah same here i I started to feel myself starting to tear up Bennett just feeling so good for him but what a great moment and then moving on to the second round in Warsaw you think about Jack Holder and Redemption from 2024 yeah how how can you imagine that you know and to be fair he didn’t or he wasn’t that dominant during that meeting but I think he really took that chance when he came to the final it was all win or nothing yeah you know what I mean his starts were amazing he didn’t miss a beat it just seemed like it didn’t matter where they put him where he started where he lined up he was the guy who was going to win on the night and he he absolutely dominated he sure did sure did and then moving on to Warsaw let’s think about the Warsaw GP uh sorry not Warsaw my bad i’m so all over the place how about Prague where have we been right yeah too many places let’s go to Prague and let’s talk about Bart Marsick i mean a man on a mission he’s the current world champion he’s the guy who everybody wants to beat right but deep down he showed how hungry he was that night he sure did and I think especially coming off not such a great Warso Grand Prix as he normally has he really proved that when he really is on fire and the passes he did he didn’t make all the starts he was just so hungry for that title I think so he really proved the point there to everybody and really want to stamp in that he want to be a six-time world champion what do you think it is so special about Bartekch compared to the rest uh I think it is really the whole package i think he have uh uh apart from being a fantastically welltalented rider i think he has everything with uh down to the mechanics the bikes yeah the whole package and he still seems to be so hungry and still enjoy his racing so much so yeah he’s going to be really hard to beat yeah absolutely and then the guy who wanted to show that he can beat him Dan Beley last night in round four here in Manchester the dude was on fire i actually found myself shouting because it was so amazing what he was doing it reminded me of somebody that I’m talking to right now doing something in Cardiff and chasing BMS i mean Dan was absolutely insane yeah i I think really showed what uh track knowledge can do and it was a long time since I seen this determination in Bu’s racing and but he really proved that in that final to do these lines and he only did didn’t do one corner on the fans he did like almost all corners on that fans and all the way the speed it was a perfect ending for a perfect night of racing and he started that in the LCQ right lap two of the LCQ sending it and he sent it all the way through the final so well done to Dan Buley it’s going to be an amazing night of racing tonight tony I want to thank you for joining me and I really look forward to talking more about this stuff because uh we share some similar thoughts but uh you know these guys they enlightened the speedway world today ah they sure did hope if it’s going to be half as good as it was yesterday it’s going to be a fantastic meeting it’s going to be rad so there we go it’s going to be rad out there tonight that’s for sure and Barto Marz had to work very hard but he wasn’t always totally convincing last night but uh you cannot deny the determination of the five-time world champion searching for a sixth world title it will equal Tony Rick Hardensson’s of course and he picked up 20 points yesterday and stretched his lead out to nine points rafi on the left is the national coach of Poland of course has been in the role for some time there is a new draw for this evening and we will look a little closer at the top four from last night to see how that’s worked out the winners and losers in that draw could be uh instrumental and how it turns out tonight okay let’s take a closer look at the National Speedway Stadium track and we’ll have a a lap with the drone chris take it away yeah well if you tuned in last night to round four of the SGP series then you don’t need me to tell you what a fantastic racetrack this is lines absolutely everywhere one interesting fact about this track is that the straights aren’t actually straight which enables you to flow the corners are very very big they’re actually longer almost longer than the straights so it’s it’s a fantastic racetrack so let’s uh take a closer look at the actual spec of the track opened up in 2016 the first Grand Prix was last night the second one is this evening 347 m is it’s wide 13 m wide on the straights with 3% of banking you can use that banking to actually run into the corners even faster plenty of width in the corners at 16 m and a lot of banking 5% of banking we saw how good Dan Buy was last night at UT utilizing that uh both the straits are the same 13 m wide and 3% of banking and in truth both corners are the same with 16 m of depth and 5% of banking they are the spec of the track that’s the challenge ahead for the riders this evening and we did see something pretty spectacular last night riders just gathering prior to the introduction of the 18 competitors maxfrick will be kicking himself you would suggest after four superb rides just needed two points from ride number five to go straight to the final just slipped up and then missed out in the LCQ um uh he’ll be looking to put that right here tonight i did mention the draw just a few moments ago we will be able to just take a look briefly at the draw of uh for tonight’s meeting it was actually took place at the conclusion of round number four last night phil Morris involved of course the race director so uh let’s take a look at the draw for tonight’s meeting is 29 Andre Levverev rider number 15 is wild card Charles Wright and the final rider is 105 which is Anders Thompson and that concludes the the start position draw for Saturday’s ATPI Speedway Grand Prix in Manchester so Hav Jas and Phil Morris taking uh the draw last night that is the way it worked out i would say if we just focus on the top four from last night Beauty will have start number eight smiles start number 11 brady Curts will get start number five and Freddy Lingren will get start number three in my mind Curts is a winner for tonight’s draw absolutely lucky man i think he’s won first prize in that draw he gets the inside gate in his first ride right time to have that he also gets it again in heat 20 when the dirt line’s gone extremely wide so it couldn’t have been better for him so Brady Kurts looking for his first Grand Prix win lies second in the World Championship didn’t ride for a fortnight before last night’s Grand Prix was riding as if there were no problems whatsoever riders now will be coming out onto the track to be presented to a huge crowd here the sun is out which is a delight there were some weather warnings leading up to this weekend but so far the weather has behaved itself and we have since some special speedway last night i’m expecting something very similar uh this evening just like Tony Carson said of this meeting is half as good as it was last night than we are in for quite some treat here tonight motorbikes coming out riders will come out as well fabulous setting for a speedway meeting and last night there’s no question it did world championship racing proud let’s take a closer look at the track reserves for this evening and the wild card as well of course uh these are the three riders involved in that we have Adam Edis who’s a former British champion from this track of course Chris Harris what a career he has had of years at 42 years of age now and Charles Wright of course this is the second time he comes out the wild card for 2025 you get two Grand Prix that is some uh achievement and he won a race last night and I think that delighted many of his supporters dan Buley chris can he make it backto- back wins that man Bos Marzik who leads the World Championship he managed to do it in a double header in Prague in 2020 buley what what a move that would be in the championship chase if he could do it again tonight oh absolutely yeah i mean it was massive for him last night made up three places he’s put him in the podium positions and um he hasn’t had long to think about it i I think that’s probably a good thing for Dan i think coming back here uh the very next day is uh is going to make that job a little bit easier good to see Jason Crump here there on the back of the motorbike three-time world champion he is uh has close connections to Belleview and he will take the world championship trophy across to the podium jason of course who was his record in world championship is fabulous and there’s no doubt that he is very popular in these parts works for the title sponsor nowadays for ATPI it is the ATPI Speedway GP of Great Britain the double header and Jason clearly delighted to be part of proceedings here this evening we have Grand Prix and Speedway Royalty on show here this evening with Jason’s three world championship that makes 13 years of of world championships between Greg Tony and Jason fabulous so the championship trophy that’s what they’re all chasing so we can get some more reaction with Abby and Greg what do we expect tonight so Greg as they head out now what can we look forward to on the second night of a double header here in Manchester oh well as we’re walking out here towards the track myself and you can probably see if we look straight through there you can see that burm that Dan Buie was hitting at the coming off of the second corner it’s there right now already so it was probably too wet because of the rain but that’s what I think we can expect at some point during the night oh well the inside scoop is that the track looks more like what it would look like on a league meeting which has got to help the home riders yeah absolutely the home riders are definitely going to have that had a little bit of rain as well right so there’s going to be that local knowledge which comes back into play however we saw some guys like you know Bartos Mars Lake even Mikuel Sen there’s a few guys who were really mixing it up last night and uh the racing was insane so I’m sure we’re in for something similar thank you Greg i’m sure we are i think riders like Robert Lambert in particular will be looking for a better result this evening after a disappointing display by his very high standards robert not going as well as he would have liked he missed out on the latter stages brady Kurtz there alongside his compatriate Jack Holder what sort of night is he in store for there’s no doubt that Brady Kurtz does seem to be very composed in his first four season now a Adamis coming forward the uh reserve rider born in France of British parents and he is here and great to see Bomber Harris here yeah absolutely it’s um you know rare that you look so forward to seeing a reserve come out in the race but if we get the chance to see Bomber it would be great former British Grand Prix winner of course 2007 was his moment in the Principality Stadium in Cardiff charles Wright the wild card up next he won a race last night he’s loving being here this evening jason Doyle found it tough last night he’s coming back just 3 weeks after a second dislocation of a hip so he’s got to ride himself back into it yeah may just feel a little bit better about tonight’s meeting kai Hookenbeck who’s having a really tough time in Grand Prix this year needs to find some inspiration and confidence from somewhere mikl Mikkelson up next yeah he scored eight points last night and he needs a he needs a good meeting tonight he’s uh way down in the standings and Thompson didn’t go as well as he would have liked last night needs to find a way to figure this track out here in Manchester martin Vashelik battled hard last night yeah had his best Grand Prix so far this year he needs a little bit more yanovic he’ll know this place well and sense that if he can just click into gear Yanovc could be a spoiler here in round number five dominic Kuber up now yeah Dominic scored five points was a little bit disappointing from him last night battled hard though now Max had a meeting that just slipped away from him in the end 11 points out of 12 in his first four then scored one more point to miss out on the final and this man Robert Lambert needs a really big performance he needs a big performance he’s slipping back in the standings and he’s going to he doesn’t want to lose track on those guys so uh yeah he battled so hard last night just didn’t get the results andre Leeds up until last night has been having a fabulous run of form he drops down into sixth place he needs to find the key to this track tonight next up Freddy Lingren as ever battling hard last night one of three riders on 54 points along with Jack Holder and Dan Bulley well Jack Holder just missing out with that stunning ride in the LCQ by Dan Buie must have felt he had a chance next up is the man of the moment yeah Dan Buy absolutely fabulous last night his LCQ and his final super brave super talented out of the top draw this man also very very competitive last night looking to go better here this evening will he win his first Grand Prix of the season it cannot be too far away he’s nine points behind in the championship chase well Bart Mick of course leads the series and last night this is a track really that he doesn’t find easy to find setups but he still manages to come out second place on the podium 20 points for Barto Marley including the two points from the sprint race they are the 18 Gladiators going head-to-head tonight and we will pause now for the national anthem of Great Britain so there we go national anthem ringing out around the national speedway stadium beautifully observed as well everybody on their feet and the expectation building very quickly photograph for all the riders for round number five riders will then make their way back to the pit area to the pits to prepare themselves for heat number one so bikes just been fueled up before the first race of the evening heat number one everybody has to come there with empty tanks they’re all running on the same fuel tonight just to make sure there’s no skull duggery going on as if there would be go no that can’t possibly be but um no that is uh part and parcel of the regulations first four races for you quebec Lambert Lingren and Bassik out in heat number one Brady Kurts Jack Holder Mickelson and Dan Buy a tasty looking heat number two kai Hookenbeck Barto Schmars Max Rick and Jason Door heat number three Charles Wright Andre Lebade Anders Thompson and Dominic Kuber are out in heat number four need to get off to a good start max Frick as you reminded actually everybody that he won the sprint race as well last night inexplicably just ran out of steam at the end of the night it was a night that for Frick that could just have been he was so close to going straight through to the final he needed one more point to go straight into the final didn’t manage to do so took gate four in the LCQ and it just didn’t quite work out for him uh no it didn’t and it was a shame as you say he needed two points from his last ride which was heat 20 um you know in the grand scheme of the meeting it looked like a a race that he should be able to do that came off gate two but uh yeah just didn’t work for him finished third and didn’t make the top two and then as you say gate four in the LCQ didn’t work at all well for him well he’s out in heat number three out of gate number three he’d be very keen to try and put that right this evening riders just getting into the gathering area before being released for the first race of the evening as I say the draw I think and I think we’re in agreement could just have favored Brady Curts here of course no qualifying today so they had to just rely on the lottery with Hogavas and Phil Morris involved there from the FIM bey got number eight Smarsick 11 Curt’s five that was a number that Smarsick chose last night freddy Lingren will be out in this first race coming out of gate number three yanc might just be in the right place at the right time to get his Grand Prix off to a strong start won his first heat um last night which was a great ride and uh made the LCQ just just got his way in there was he on six or seven points I think so was the last qualifier martin Vaselik had a better display from last night better performance hasn’t had a great campaign it’s not going to plan for Martin this season maybe the second half of the year will be better than the first half he’ll be hoping so he’s next weekend of course it’s a busy period two Grand Pris this weekend and we move on to Gorov in Poland which is his home club in the extra league he’s been riding there for some considerable time so Martin will be looking to Gorov to try and bounce back to the big points 35 years of age vastly experienced man he’s had his injury problems in the past but uh when he’s in the mood we’ve seen it on numerous occasions he can win Grand Pris particularly in Prague yeah well particularly in Prague of course three on the bounce but uh he was on the pace last night definitely had speed and this is a track that you have to come to with speed he had that didn’t make all the right moves at the right time but it was a much better meeting for him great to see the enthusiasm in the crowd as well british Grand Prix british fans coming out in their thousands to support the series and uh they’ve done very well indeed to go back to back here as I say it’s not the first time we’ve had double headers that did happen in the co years and we did see Barto Mars win both nights in Prague in 2020 will Dan Bulley be able to reproduce that here tonight in Manchester amad Castania on the left there the top man from the track racing commission in the FIM and Phil Morris these two have been friends for some considerable time they rode together of course in Britain for Reading Speedway back in the day and now working together in the Grand Prix for the international governing body not too much longer to wait now Chris and we will be on with the action first four races last night steady but then suddenly the whole meeting burst into life after that yeah we see it very often you know the track takes time to settle down and make a few racing lines it is a little bit wet again so I expect to see a similar trend tonight but we heard Abby say that the track conditions a little bit more like league racing i don’t think that Brady Kurts or Dan Buy need any favors they know their way around here indeed they do riders coming onto the track for the first time practice start they’ve had no track action at all today so first time they would have been feeling the track on the bike they’ve done their track walk which happens approximately an hour before racing gets underway freddy Lingren who uh worked hard as he always does to make the final three riders on 54 World Championship points coming into round number five this evening you said it earlier Beauty Holder and Lingren all on 54 they are 10 points behind second place Brady Curts who is nine points behind the world champion and the championship leader Barto Marsley what will happen tonight what sort of drama are we in for i’m sure we’re in for plenty as we come up to the start line the first four riders for the first time in round number five in the National Speedway Stadium it is the ATPIM Speedway Great GP of Great Britain the lineup for the first race of the night yankovc off the inside in the red helmet color robert Lambert gate number two in blue freddy Ling on gate three in white and Martin Basslick from the outside in the yellow helmet color martin is a very good starter wouldn’t be a tall surprise for him to make a really good fist of it but Robert Lambert will be very keen to go better tonight didn’t win a race last night needs to put that right gate two worked her well earlier on he’ll be hoping it does here in heat number one green light comes on tapes her up and KC drops a clutch bang on he gets to the first corner lambert’s gone right instead of left going into the corner and he just nearly cleans up the other two riders that allows Yanovex a stealer march as he goes through turns three and four robert Lambert going very very wide freddy Lingard’s come up the inside it’s wet slippery as you predicted but Quebec is out in front yeah I can’t quite work out turn three and four there on the opening lap for Robert Lambert can’t really see why he decided to move that wide i think it was a conscious decision be interesting to see that again but Yanc just like last night out front in his opening ride yeah settled down nicely martin Vaselik’s the one that’s missed out you can see that Robert Lambert is covered in shell just a little bit wet in the first one but there’s a lot of racing the track has to be prepared to get 23 races under its belt and it’s backto-back nights of Speedway of course here in the National Speedway Stadium and for the Czech Republic rider Yankee smashing start for him he was in the right place at the right time in heat number one and he picks up the maximum score of three points he’s got his evening underway in the best possible way so Quebec makes his way back to the pit area as do the other three the result of the first race of the evening is three points for Quebec freddy Ling back in second place two points one point for Robert Lambert martin Vaselik misses out in heat number one we’ll see it again it’s all about the start and then Robert Lambert just lifting doesn’t he as he gets to the first corner awkward moment yeah it was a pretty wild moment for Robert Lambert he’s working the bike hard there hasn’t made as good a start as Quebec and he just grabs a handful of traction just as he’s getting to the corner and could have actually ended up taking down Lingram there cuz he was sandwiched in between Robert Lambert and Martin Bashelik Bashik cuts back up the inside just want to see uh yeah I can’t really understand why Robert Lambert chose to go that wide perhaps he thought the ripped up surface on the outside would give him the speed straight away not going to happen not in these first three three or four races smashing start for Yan Kovc 23 years of age the man from the Czech Republic rides here in the UK with the Kingsland Stars three points in round number five in heat number one brady Curts the man who lies in second place in the World Championship has had a fabulous season superbly consistent but he’s looking for a win he would dearly love to win his first Grand Prix of course here in front of his home crowd he rides for the Belleview Aces third last night can he make it a win here tonight in round five wouldn’t put it past him he knows his place so very very well yeah he’s been everywhere else so far this year second third fourth so it’s it’s coming isn’t it getting ever closer dan Buy of course last night’s winner and the teammate here in Manchester of Brady Kurts they know each other so very well but it’s individual speedway this evening curts on the inside in red helmet color jack Holder out of gate number two in blue mickelson out of gate three in white dan Buy off the outside in yellow he number two good looking lineup here green light comes on tapes her up we’re roaring into the first turn kurt is going to get there mickelson’s chopped back to the inside muli’s gone very very wide and has lost a lot of ground as a consequence holder coming into second place pushing on tight into turn three and four but Curts off the inside gate just like Yan KC hugging the inside is working a treat beauty off the outside just like Martin Vashelik struggling to get into the points yeah gate four is definitely not the place to be in these opening oh bit of grip there for Dan Bu right around the inside lost ground now on Mickelson but Curts up front round the curve doing everything right lovely way to start his night jack Holder is keeping him honest in second place but Curts appears to have it all under control holder is inching closer there isn’t too much between the two Australians out in front mickelson has dropped back and Beauty is struggling to land a blow here in heat number two all the way around the inside the shortest way is the fastest way in heat number two and Curts gets his evening off to a flying start three points for him and he’ll be very pleased with that and Bey missing out there but of course he has four more opportunities as they all do to get himself further advance but the top two scorers of course go straight through to the final curts out in front three points for him jack Holder back in second place two points one point for Mickelson dan Buy last night’s winner misses out in his first ride in heat number two we’ll watch it again no overtaking so far but uh it’s just that outside run it’s a long way to the turn and you just can’t quite make it work there’s not enough grip out wide no Dan actually made a decent start he was level with the riders on the way to the corner there but it’s the wrong place at the wrong time to be out there ordinarily maybe in four or five races time there’ll be enough grip to get a run around the outside not in these opening heats and a perfect start for Brady Curts makes a decent start never puts a foot wrong knows where he’s got to ride right around the inside encouraging also for Jack Holder he was right on the pace of the man Brady Kurt so Jack Holder will be satisfied with his two points as well for the Australians starting strongly in heat number two had a good night last night as well world champion out on track for the first time you know Bart Smick we can be you looked at him last night he didn’t look that convincing at times but my golly did he deliver when it really mattered straight through to the final gate number three we’ll see Max Vick out of gate number three he had a terrific meeting up until his last ride where it just slipped away from him winning the sprint race 11 points out of 12 in his first four rides in the Grand Prix and then didn’t make the final which was a great shame so here we go then for heat number three with Hook Beck the German down on the inside basley will come out of gate two so the lineup for heat number three is Kai Hookenbeck off the inside in the red helmet color basic gate number two in blue max Rick out of gate number three in white jason Doyle his compatriate off the outside in the yellow jason Doyle would have been feeling his way back into Speedway last night will there be an improvement for the former champion tonight long pause long pause but I tell you what Smiles nailed it out of gate number two bike drove beautifully to the first corner hookenbeck follows him through round the outside comes Doyle now doyle roaring into turns three and four still a little bit greasy out there pulling tear offs coming off turn number four but SMZ gets a way out in front already stretching away yeah Bart has made gate two work it was dominant in the early heats last night hasn’t been so good in the first couple of races now Max Rick looking to cut back up the inside kai Hooken read that absolutely perfectly stopped that run as long as you’re around the line at the moment covering the exit of the corner you’re safe jason Doyle hasn’t tailed off he put in a lot of effort on the opening lap but he just can’t make anything up frick has got more speed than Hook and Beck but just can’t find a way through tell you who’s got a lot of speed here in his first ride is the world champion very fast out in front seems to have got that bike absolutely purring away in heat number three smashing start for the world champion cruises for three points tied for second with Hooken Beck hanging on do fails to score but for the man came into tonight with a nine-point lead hasn’t always had the best of luck around this track but laid the curse somewhat last night with a second place smilesick out in front in heat number three three points for him kickback in second place two points one point for Max Rick in third and Jason Doyle misses out in heat number three an impressive opening gambit from that man the world champion yeah Barzik has by his own admission often struggled to find the pace around here get the right setup makes an absolutely perfect start there runs around the inside starts pulling away down the back straight on the opening lap you can see the bike working beautifully guy Hooken Beck comes under a lot of pressure from Max Rick but Max it wasn’t until the very last corner that he had a a good go around the outside maybe kicking himself because it almost worked maybe if it had another half a lap he could have made that stick possibly wouldn’t be a surprise at all in heat number four if we see somebody have a bit of a roar around the outside the track is evolving very quickly heat number four will see the completion of the first four races the first block of four races and Thompson who had a disappointing evening last night and Anders who’s back in the Grand Prix after missing out last year he’ll be very keen to go better tonight and that’s another man that Andre Leedv’s inexplicably scored one point last night from five rides just didn’t get to grips with it at all i’m sure there’s been some soul searching today he’ll be looking to go better cabera all of these riders in truth will be looking to improve their performance and Charles Wright the wild card on the inside he’ll be very keen to utilize that in heat number four he is there on the inside in the red helmet color gate number two in blue is Leeds and as Thompson out of gate number three in white and Dominic Rivera will go from the outside in the yellow helmet color ron Shaw is our star marshall he looks up at the ref referee yes the steam top from Denmark the tapes are up and we’re racing in E4 look at that from Kuber a lovely run from the outside we got Charles right following him through here comes Thompson now thompson powering on trying to get around the outside of Charles right will he put it off leeds is up the inside as well thompson trying to get back into the thick of it as well got to say Charles right lifting at a very awkward moment as well but Thompson’s done well it’s tight down the backstroke yeah Thompson’s done well oh Charles right forces his way up the inside again he’s moved Thompson over lev’s joins the party now is he going to get the better of Anders Thompson no thompson’s got to run can he get around the outside of Charles right now yes he does but man Kuber out front looking quick yeah Kuber with a stunning effort from the outside gate he’s pulled away great battling for second third and fourth with the Danish man coming through into second now eyecatching whites kevlars leeds beginning to put Charles right under pressure for third place capair has got the win it’s going to be very tight through this last corner between Leeds charles Wright takes no prisoners at all going into turn three and four on the final lap to hang on to a point with Leeds relegated to the back for Kubber with plenty of support there’s a lot of Polish fans here in Manchester last night and last night and tonight as well but for Cuba gets his evening off to a flying start from the outside gate three points for Cabera and Thompson two points in second place one points for Charles Wright and Andre Leedv misses out in heat number four so here’s the position after four races this evening three points for Smarssley Quebec Curts and Kubber two points for Linguin Holder Hookenbeck and Anders Thompson that’s the position after everybody’s had one outing so far tonight so just waiting patiently for heat number five charles right with the the crew working hard on it just to tweak it a little bit bit of an adjustment to the counter shaft as well possibly the front chain getting a little bit tight jason Doyle out of luck so far such a difficult injury to come back from he had 10 months off of course with the injury to his shoulder last year then with the dislocated hip he’s had a tough run of injuries just recently so inevitably it’s going to be difficult to be absolutely perfect at the highest level yeah Jason said that the uh the dislocation uh in Warsaw that he suffered was by far the most painful injury that he’s ever had he said if you can imagine it was like every injury you’ve had in your career all at the same time so uh yeah he was very uncomfortable and he’s had one or two he has and so he knows what he’s talking about so I don’t envy that khilbeck you’re looking at his draw draw number 10 he’s got two inside gates initially and he’s got two gate threes not good news for the German and won gate number four in heat 17 to complete his qualifying heat the German who won the qualifying rounds for the GP challenge in Arburnburg on Monday earlier this week but hasn’t been able to translate that form into Grand Prix performances chris Harris who is having to wait patiently looks a little bit bored actually there but um two days of sitting around waiting for a race is not what he’s not what he’s used to he’s normally very busy indeed he rides for two clubs in the UK he rides on the grass track and long track as well he’s normally charging around somewhere next four races for you cabera Quebec Brady Kurts Max Frick coming out in heat number five heat number six is Lebade Hookbeck Lambert and Mikkelson all four riders need to improve barto Smiles stunning in his first ride charles Wright Jack Holder Freddy Lingren competitive looking lineup martin Vashik Dan Buy Jason Doyle and Anders Thompson in heat number eight bulian Doyle and Vashlick pointless all of those riders will be very keen to get a heat win under their belt in heat number five riders are out back out on track that’s good news for us and Brady Kurts a man who has set the world championship al light in 2025 contrasting luck with the draw there brady Kurtz I think had it bang on poor old Maxfrick he’s had to start with gate three which was a disaster last night and then he moves to the outside gate which hasn’t been so good although Cabera did that trend in the last race the last race so he’ll be hoping if he can reproduce something similar now Yankeec is a sharp starter out of gate number one in his first ride heat number one dominic Kuber he is on the inside in the red helmet color yankeec is alongside him in gate number two in blue brady Kurts gate three in white what can the Australian do from there and Max Frick another Australian he will go from the outside in the yellow helmet color frick is a class act he can make it work he has a silky smooth style he knows how to carry a lot of speed yeah the track is now coming to to the riders in terms of racing lines and being off outside gates so might not be too bad for him we saw it last night will it be deja vu here in heat number five three lights on tapes are up and away we go kubar has dropped the clutch nicely it’s three four a breast here comes Kurtz round the outside when he get the better of the Polish rider he does the Australian roaring round the outside and Frick’s following him through frick’s gone even wider than Kurts fricker’s going to come through in the second place the outside run working well there but Brady Kurts once again gate three no problem for him uh the Australians getting it wound up on the opening lap there at Brady Curts super effort from gate three which really hasn’t been working certainly last night but Max Rick good speed from him too thought he’d gone a little bit too wide down on turns three and four on the opening lap but he made it stick brady Curts has cleared off out in front stunning speed from the Australian maxf frick solid in second place but can do nothing about the man in front kuber winner first time out back in third place is strung out strung right out because Kurtz is so very fast and heat number five stunning ride from Kurt he’s unbeaten out of two he’s on six points already six points be enough for the LCQ so he’s going along very nicely indeed yanovc disappointingly just trudges over the line well a drift in fourth place but for Braden Kurts he means business once again and he’s got his Grand Prix round number five here in Manchester off to a fabulous start tonight kurts three points for him out in front two points for Max in second place dominic Cabera back in third one point for him and Quebec misses out number five i tell you what Brady Kurt’s speed here he was just stunning and the bike just hooked up beautifully in the first corner yeah it’s good to see the start line evening itself up now the outside gates winning the last two races very very even actually as they left the start there but Brady Kurts had the advantage of being on the inside of Max Frick and Max follows him through there good speed on the opening lap from him rides very very wide there but we’ve seen it here we saw it last night on so many occasions particularly with Dan Buley once you get it wound up and you can get your wheels in line early you can generate a lot of speed stunning start for Kurt he’ll be very pleased with that satisfied with his evening’s work so far two rides two wins impressive heat number six riders on their way to the start line and we’ll see some riders here that need to improve their performance mickelson hasn’t quite recaptured the form we saw last year but encouraging signs at times last night leedz has found it really difficult here in Great Britain over the last couple of days but can he turn his fortunes around here in heat number six he’s got the inside gate quite possibly leedv’s off the inside and the red helmet color khook out of gate number two in blue robert Lambert has switched his bike he comes out of gate three in white and Mick Mickelson the Danish man from the outside in the yellow helmet color lambert who seems to be almost trying a little too hard possibly if he could just calm it a touch he can do a lot better we’ve seen him ride around here so very well for in the Speedway Nations yeah twice we were discussing it earlier today just a little bit too erratic you need to be smooth to keep your momentum up around here here we go then number six green light is on the tapes are up we’re charging towards the first corner who’s going to get there looks like Hook and Beck’s made a lovely start he’s in the middle of the track but Leban’s on the inside but it’s a German the German stretches his arms out and the bike powers himself to the front lambert’s up the inside can he get the better of Mickelson don’t know if he’s quite got there he’s on the inside cracky what a move what a move from Lambert is going to get very close as they come out of turn two with the second lap cracky that’s free from Lev move from Lambert there as he cuts back up the inside of Mickelson can he do anything about Leeds leeds going to have the speed at the end of the straight short cut from Lambert no he can’t quite get there almost backs into Lev now mickelson right around the curb the lines are coming already Cal they are indeed look Beck is missing all the fireworks that are going on behind him lemon is now relegated to the back he switches to the inside he has to scrub all the speed off otherwise he was going to run in the side of Mickelson fabulous Speedway once again in Manchester lev’s now around the outside of Mikkelson hooken Beck is a country mile out in front much better from him what a race for second third and fourth gates breathtaking speedway once again in Manchester you cannot take your eyes off of it for Kai Hook encouraging signs in heat number six for the German three points for Kai Hooken Beck out in front left finally coming through in second place two points for him one point for Mickelson and Robert Lambert lambert misses out again and that is a surprise things not going the way of the new British champion who won it at this track just 6 weeks ago yeah it’s uh it’s very hard to fathom out what’s going on with Robert Lavit doesn’t seem to have speed in the bike i know he changed bikes not working here for him lev’s up the inside nice ride from Kai Hookenbeck though had the speed on the outside of him just had that little bit more traction got himself out front looked pretty comfortable there riding confidently into the dirt straight away into the corner but Robert Lambert we saw it last night riding so hard and just not getting the reward no it’s been a difficult uh a difficult couple of days for Robert Lambert and he’ll be scratching his heads i’m sure the soul searching in the pit area where they’re just not quite sure which way to go hookenbeck moves on to five points strong start for the German by far his best start to a Grand Prix in 2025 hit number seven we see Martik once again after a stunning opening gambit from the championship leader charles Wright is out here as well there’s a good looking lineup here for heat number seven barto Smars might possibly a little bit more relaxed about tonight after a big performance last night smiles on the inside in the red helmet color charles right out of gate number two in blue jack Holder gate three in white and Freddy Linguin goes from the outside in the yellow helmet color this could be quite a tear up holder finished second in his first ride but he had pace he really did smile was very quick indeed yeah it’s going to be interesting to see what Smiles decides to do in the first turn here because the run around the outside is now beginning to work so can he afford to run up i think he’s going to have to here we go then heat number seven the tapes are up we’re roaring toward the first corner smiles gets there he’s just in the middle of the track it’s dangerous and it’s proved to be so they go either side of him you can’t do that you got to really commit either way and Freddy Ling had no hesitation to roll around the outside great move from SM to come back into second place now is committing squares the corner off but Smley at his best a lap and a half later is back to the front here comes Lingren back up the inside oh that must have been awfully close be interesting to see that one from another angle but Smarsnik as you rightly say 100% back to his best tying that comeback absolutely perfectly smick now out in front freddy’s back in second place jack Holden momentarily through second place but it didn’t last very long just a blink of an eye because Smarlick riding out of his skin curtsick the best two riders on show so far this evening and Smosick around this final corner in heat number seven what a ride from him freddy playing his part as well lingren fans delighted with that two unbeaten riders so far this evening in Smart and Curts this is going to be a battle royal this season in 2025 this is absolutely this is going to be some championship here we go then smart in front three points for him two points for Freddy Lingren in second place jack Holder back in third one point for him charles Wright misses out in heat number seven exciting stuff fabulous stuff the way Smilesick weighed that up probably put himself in a Well he did put himself in a very vulnerable position and we’ll see it now coming off the first corner yeah I said before the race started it was going to be an interesting first turn smilesick had to push up he did that but he didn’t go far enough he had to go all the way there he didn’t stop the run around the outside almost paid the price as well for Jack Holder on the inside but Freddy Lingren he had so much pace then he makes a cut back straight lines it up the inside again of Smarzik there but Smarzik stuck to it on the outside and I tell you what yeah we uh we were talking about it last year not having the pace that’s back this year 100% yeah he looks quick he changed his bike last night he had to work very hard indeed and a bit of a debrief going on in the Champions Pit area good to see and he remains unbeaten at this early stage right this is heat number eight we will complete the second block of races this evening riders who need points here three of these riders failed to score first time out so they need to turn their fortunes around and last night’s winner is one of those that man in the blue helmet color can he bounce back it would suggest he can here’s the lineup for you heat number eight martin Basilic on the inside in the red helmet color dan Buyer gate number two in blue gate three in white is Jason D and Anders Thompson off the outside in the yellow helmet color he’s the only man who scored points in his first ride with a decent ride coming through into second place actually uh it’s probably slightly better than he did all night last night but Martin Bassik and Buy will be very competitive on the inside yeah there’s going to be a bit of handar bashing going into turn one I think particularly on the inside here we go then heat number eight cam beauty bounce back here tapes are up we’re underway it’s tight into the first corner vashley makes a lovely start do switched to the inside and pokes his nose in front down the back straight here comes Vashley beie’s at the back and that is a surprise thompson out wide bey creeping around the inside on turns three and four but he’s got a lot of work to do martin Vassic powering away out in front of Buy now coming up the inside can he get a second place it’s tight for second third and fourth yeah beauty having to work super hard he’s got to worry about Anders Thompson while trying to do something about Jason Doyle jason Moore on the pace gone a little bit wider this time beauty is he going to get up the inside i got a feeling he is yes he can beauty up the inside do running very wide indeed can he respond he’s going to try to got to say Vashik has cleared off out in front bey after a slow start to the race at heat number eight has battled his way into second place did talk about that he had slow start last night but then turned it around brilliant stuff from Bashik super right out in front and Martin Vashik showed a great turn of speed there to win comfortably dan Beley having to work very hard indeed to come through into second place but he picks up his first points of the evening martin Bashik three points in front two points for Dan Buy in second place jason Door picks up a point in third and Anders Thompson misses out eat number eight so let’s look at the position after everybody’s had two rides six points each for Smlick and Kurt five points for Hooker on four so is Freddy Lingren quebec on three martin Vashlick likewise and Max Shrek in eighth place on three points as well that’s the position after two rides each so track work going on the track is beginning to really be evolve here mcinness pink number nine to come we’ll have a look at the gate success so far after eight races this evening see how it’s panning out will it be similar to last night or will it be different a little different although the inside gate is uh preferable right now gate number one two wins out of gate two one win from gate three and one win off the outside similar not exactly the same points scored so far is 18 which is obviously the best place to be so far 11 points scored from gates two and three and eight points scored from the outside gate that is probably the more sort of um information and more you know in respect to the fact where the points are coming from it reflects the racing doesn’t it you know you can have a dominant gate sometimes but the racing so good here that it doesn’t necessarily translate to points so that’s the the good thing about the You explained that far better than I did well done yeah thanks i thought I’d better step in for you there just going back to Greg’s interview spaghetti yeah spaghetti um and it was quite interesting because Dan actually said that the bike felt quite stiff um but No no that’s spaghetti before you cook it ah you see ah okay i understand we can have instead of spaghetti hoops we’ll have spaghetti spots we need to move on right heat number nine we’ve got Mickelson Anders Thompson Yankovic and Barto Smiles coming out for his third ride smiles come unbeaten so far doyle Curts Right and Lambert curt comfortably the uh the form rider in heat number 10 heat number 11 is Buy Frick Lingren and Leedvs all closely matched in heat number 11 heat number 12 is Cuba Vaselik Hookenbeck’s having a good night and Holder in number 25 in heat number 12 that’s the next block of four heats plenty of action to come riders needing points but right now Vtomick and Brady Curts the number one and two in the championship chase are dominating round number five here in the National Speedway Stadium do hope you are enjoying our coverage on TNT this evening healthy crowd temporary stand is absolutely packed down the back of the back of the stadium and the atmosphere here on Saturday night i’d say I must say that the weather has behaved itself we did have some serious weather warnings building into this weekend we had some rain earlier today but that hasn’t affected if if anything probably the rain this afternoon has done the track some good so riders are released well heat number nine and Thompson who has a couple of points to his name so far failed to score in his last ride will be looking to pick up points here then his third ride mickelson his compatriate on two points needs to pick up a win the Danish rider just not quite recapturing the form we saw he had in 2024 so riders at tapes for their third outing basic has been eye-catching and I think that’s an understatement so far his second ride in particular was uh what you expect to see from a world champion anton Tony Ricardson nailed it really when he was chatting to Gregor before the meeting started the hunger in Smilesick still burns bright mickelson off the inside in the red helmet color and Thompson gate number two in blue gate three in white is Yankovic and Smilesick off the outside in the yellow helmet color he’s unbeaten so far will it remain that way Chris i’ve got a feeling you’ll have to work at it i’m not quite sure whether after the track grade he will be able to get there from gate number four but if anybody can of course that man can mickelson who had that nasty accident with Bartis Marsik last year in Ria that was a season ending crash for the former European champion here we go then racing about to get underway in heat number nine we’re underway wow what a start from Smarsick mickelson’s there also on the inside will he get the drive off the corner not quite enough but Smiles round the outside electing to go right out wide and it’s working a tree the world champions got it all weld on here tonight he’s already putting away they’re battling for third place quebec is in third with Thompson up the inside but Barto Smley has got himself really tuned in this evening yeah I think Barto Marsley is going to drive away from Manchester now thinking perhaps it’s one of his favorite tracks he looks absolutely at home it’s an absolutely perfect first lap off the outside gate generated the speed put it straight in the dirt lovely ride from Smick smick’s away looking good out in front he’s going to remain unbeaten zap flies into the last lap of heat number nine smileick looking superb he’s enjoying the grip they were talking about it before the meeting got underway there was a bit more like a league match set up to the track well Smick looks like he should be riding for the Billview Aces he’s loving it out there tonight the champion picks up his third race win of the evening and moves on to nine points manchester he’s pretty much saying well I’m going to keep winning races brady Curts what have you got what have you got we’re going to see Kurts very soon of course three points for Brady Barley out in front mik Miklson back in second place two points one point for Yanbec in third and Anders Thompson misses out in heat number nine another stunning ride from Bartosley superb around the outside trusted the speed the bike’s working better than it did last night absolutely whatever he found last night he’s put to good use so far tonight makes a good start from gate four doesn’t get there first it looks like that Mickelson on the inside might be able to out drag him but he’s already generating uh more pace more grip out there mikkelson a slight effort to block past him there and run across the front of him no way you were going to stop Barto Mik when he’s got this much speed and is in this sort of mood no classy ride from the world champion leading the way on nine points wants to make the final wants to go straight through on his present form with gate four and gate three to come he’s looking good for that heat number 10 we’ll see Kurts for the third time now what can Kurts do here can he match what Smiles is up to we are beginning to see these two two riders dominate the World Championship in 2025 great to see we haven’t had a head-to-head like this since 2021 when Artum Laguta and Smiles Lick dominated the World Championship with five Grand Prix wins each what a year that was here we go then heat number 10 it’s Jason Doyle off the inside in the red helmet color brady Curts out of gate number two in the blue helmet color charles Wright the wild card gate three in white and Robert Lambert leads a big race here needs a win you would suggest he’s got the yellow helmet color gate number four for the British rider ron Shaw the start marshall moves away and Curtis has made a fantastic start he fires himself to the front lambert’s coming charging around the outside will he have the speed yes he has come on Lambert around the outside can he get the better of Kurts he has done that’s more like it from Lambert kurts now having to give chase yeah Kurts is he’s got everybody on his tail though charles Wright has got plenty of speed behind him he’s matching him for speed great opening lap from Robert Lambert that’s much more like it from him doesn’t want to lose ground on the on the leading pack he certainly did that last night but he’s looking good in this one certainly matching Kurts for pace curts is coming on strong in second place he won’t want to drop a point just seen Smileley win the previous race we’ve got door around the back right around the outside kurt now coming up to the inside robert Lambert coming under pressure from the Australian holding firm down the back straight for the last time through the final quarter on the last lap of heat number 10 and Robert Lambert gets it together in heat number 10 for the first time struggled last night didn’t win a race wins his first race in the National Speedway Stadium this weekend and will that be the catalyst for more he’ll be certainly hoping so good ride from Robert Lambert out of gate number four play to him lowers the colors of Brady Kurts lambert out in front three points for him second place two points for Brady Kurts charles Wright back in third one point jason Doyle going to score in heat number 10 kurts looked like he had done the business from the gate number two but Robert Lamb but brave as a lion down the back straight unbelievable to think that that’s his first race win in nine heats over these two days but he does it in style beats Brady Curts and that takes some doing round here on any occasion brady actually was very fair to him there he went into the corner very narrow and that gave Robert Lambert the opportunity to keep the gas on get into the corner into the dirt and he did it superbly charles Wright showing a lot of pace here for the first couple of laps pretty pretty brave there not 100% sure he was in full control but can see here Robert Lambert around the outside beautiful move from him looked a bit like his old self there yeah that was a return to form for Robert Lambert and as I said before could it be a catalyst for gates one and two to come and see him get on a bit of a roll he’ll be certainly hoping so heat number 11 another important race for Dan Buy picked up a couple of points last time he’s got the favorite gate on the inside here in heat number 11 andre Levis is coming from the outside gate that’s working as well looks like you can win races from anywhere right now the the track is certainly leveling out and the start line looks like it’s uh pretty fair right now so Dan is on the inside in the red helmet color maxfrick gate number two in blue fredding run out of gate number three in white and Andre Livs picked up a couple of points last time he’ll go from the outside gate in the yellow helmet color buy who had a hard working second place picked up two points last time i don’t think I don’t think there’s any panic from Dan Buley just yet nine points available to him uh to go tonight and track is coming to him this is when he gets at his best around here when the track falls like this here we go then heat number 11 and what a start from Frick frick’s absolutely nailed that he gets to the first turn in front of Dan Buy freddy Lingren takes care of Lebanese in the first corner tough move from the Swedish man linguin round the outside beaut’s in the middle of the truck is vulnerable to Linguin linguin now around the outside of Beauty giving chase to Max Frick who made a smashing start look how wide they’re going there’s a lot of grip out wide spectacular speedway this is unbelievable to think that they’re that wide it’s only heat 11 so that dirt line you suggest has got to go away dan is still working the inside he knows there’s no point changing that tack because he’s got two riders in front of him riding on the line that he would normally want to attack so unless they give him the opportunity he’s going to have to just look at it so tell you what Max Rick right in the B absolutely freddy Ling trying all he knows back in second place stan beauty not being able to land a blow here to the front two but Max Frick in sparkling form last night out of gate number two produces a stunning ride in heat number 11 to get the better of Freddy Lingwood and that is a big boost for Frick in heat number 11 all of a sudden making his evening look really good indeed and a lovely ride max Frick doubles the score moves on to six points a third a second and now a win and a very useful win i would say their alarm bells ringing for now maybe now yes yeah three points out in front for Max Frick freddy Ling went back in second place two points one point for last night’s winner dan Buy only got three points so far andre Leedv’s back at the back failing to score the Wos continue for the Lavian but for Maxfrick six points a handy win yeah Dan Buy needed more than this really the pressure is beginning to mount now but a perfect start off gate number two for Max Shri really does a good job and Freddy Lingren as we know tough character pretty tough there on Andre Lev around the first turn lev’s had to turn back in off it but Freddy Lingren then goes after Max Rick matching him for pace but with Max Rick riding in the burm absolutely nothing he could do about it no he was on the fastest bit of the track and he got there first freddy Hats was certainly threatening in second place but just couldn’t find a way past and for Maxfrick he uh picked up some decent points last night but he want to go to the final this evening so heat number 12 will complete the third block of races see Jack Holder just doing a bit of gardening there you can see clearly there what they’re doing on the start line they use the steel shoe on their left boot and they pack the dirt down and that just gives them a little bit more grip when they drop the clutch start so important in Speedway if you can get that initial reaction it does help you so much so the lineup heat number 12 Dominic Caba off the inside red helmet color for him martin Vasilic a winner last time out gate two in blue kai Hookenbeck having a good night gate three in white and Jack Holder off the outside in the yellow helmet color jack Holder looking for a bit more now but another competitive looking lineup here in heat number 12 tapes are up away we go martin Vaselik and Cuba get there alongside each other now quebec switching to the inside is he vulnerable down the back straight yes it’s tight between Martin Vaselic vaselik right out wide switching off the back cabar is riding the dirt as well holders at the back here comes Vashik up the inside another super race here are the cards holder bursting in on the action as well brilliant stuff from Battle League it’s all going on plenty of block passes happening right now jack Holder work to do he’s going to come back up the inside of Cabera gets very close got Hookenbeck now into second place tough ride for Jack Holder he’s lost a place again to the back having to work hard of course cabera and Holder are teammates in Poland but they’re taking no prisoners there at all martin Vashik looking like he’s going to go back to back race wins one that failed to score first time out he’s looking good holder working hard he’s out on the points or is he just about stealing a point off Kuber but for Martin Vachel he moves on to six points his second race win of the evening and race wins are important martin after a disappointing opening gambit comes out with two stunning rides couldn’t take your eyes off that they were going everywhere jack Holder was up the inside around the outside it’s so difficult at times to know where to race but Martin Vaselik certainly did three point three points out in front two points for Kai Hookenbeck in second place one point for Jack Holder in third and Dominic Cuber misses out in heat number 12 there’s the position after everybody’s had three rides basic the world champion leads the way on nine points brady Kurt on eight in second place after everybody’s had three rides here this evening that you can bring to to your own discipline so I think riding two wheels so the wonder wheel out on track just doing its job just disturbing the top service we’re seeing some racing that is improving phil Morris just keeping an eye on what’s going on gambuli not quite having the evening he had last night but with this new format he still has an opportunity to go to the final tonight so let’s get some more reaction greg Hancock is joined by Maxfrick yeah hey Max like this track is so demanding again already i mean the dirt line is so wide but it’s so awesome to watch your your style is so smooth and the starts were are amazing you you get them right sometimes but you can see that it must be quite the challenge yeah it’s difficult out there uh trying to get off the gates is important but then at the same time making sure you come out of that first corner with a bit of speed otherwise you leave yourself really vulnerable so um you know from those inside gates it’s tricky cuz that outside lines had a lot of speed in it those last few heat yeah you found some speed though too i mean last night you were quick as well have you guys made some adjustments or same bikes yeah we’ve made some adjustments to the bikes over the last couple of weeks we’ve been searching trying to to make some improvements so it’s uh it’s really good to see um you know things are moving forward in the right direction it’s good to see for sure do you take it easy man keep going hard and good luck for the rest of the night thank you yeah good stuff from Maxfrick just missed out last night but his last ride where he doubled his score moved under six points with a couple of rides to go maxfrick looking good once again in the National Speedway Stadium this evening we will see Max Frick coming out in heat number 16 off of gate number one keep an eye out for that gate success so far this evening we’ve got the inside two gates working well four wins from gate one four wins from gate two one win from gate number three similar to last night and uh three wins off the outside points scored fairly even actually which is um good to see 21 on the inside 19 gate 2 17 and 15 off the outside so you can score points from anywhere jack holding up nicely we’ve got Jack Holder coming out for consecutive races holder needs points as well now he’s only got four from three rides so for Jack coming out of heat 13 I’m sure he’ll be looking to improve so next four races for you let’s have a good long look at this holder Doyle Leeds and KC in heat number 13 kc the best rider there lambert bouncing back to form in his last ride he’s in heat 14 with Kubera Dan Buy and Balto Schmarsic who’s unbeaten and Thompson Freddy Lingren Kai Hook Brady Kurts in heat number 15 good looking tell you what Hookenbeck’s having a good night maxf frick on six points mickelson Martin Vaslick going along nicely now and Charles Wright with a couple of points that is heat number 16 and that’s the action that will come up in the next block of races so heat number 13 here we go back on with the action which has been fast and furious in Manchester last night and again this evening superb crowd the weather is behaving itself bathed in sunshine can’t believe it’s Manchester no it’s unbelievable fantastic great racing and the track favoring the brave right around the outside extensive track work that time i think they wanted to generate in an outside line that was slightly further down the track because it would have been worrying for race director Phil Morris to see the guys so close to the fence already and we’ll see how that transpires rather just getting themselves ready so Jack Holder on the inside in the red helmet color jason Doyle has changed his bike here he comes out of gate number two in blue andre Leeds has changed his bike as well gate number three in white and Yankovc will go from the outside in the yellow helmet color four points for Quebec four points for Jack Holder a win here will help their cause immensely of course it will lcq’s Beckham for those two andre Leedv’s not having a great run here in the National Speedway Stadium last night or again tonight what can he do holders’s made a lovely start on the inside he moves off the line chops back to the inside that’s a nice first corner from Jack Holder yan Ket goes very wide look at that quebec got a lot of speed coming down the back straight he can take care of Jason Do come back up the inside of Holder where did he come from how did he find the speed holder had to then slam the door shut as they start the second road that was the inside this is really close now yank had such a good opening lap went super wide on the first turn that enabled him to generate a little bit more speed than the others jack Holden now coming under a lot of pressure from Leeds this is much better from Leeds leeds has got speed in the motorbike now Yanov has got a problem he’s standing off of the back now jason Doyle is getting in on the act but out in front where the action is is where we need to be seeing it holder out in front leopards around the out the inside last lap of heat number 13 leeds again trying to come on holder has to slam the door shut the Australian picks up a win a very useful win and moves on to seven points smashing ride for Jack Holder he needed it and he duly delivered it was very tight indeed at times leeds all of a sudden finding a turn of speed that we haven’t seen over the last two nights much better from him jack Holder out in front three points for him lev’s back in second place two points yank who was right in the thick of it one point in third place and Jason Doyle out the back fails to score in heat number 13 another exciting speedway race and for for Jack Holder a big three points yeah Jack Holder moves on to seven points that’ll take the pressure off his last ride generally speaking seven points is enough super ride from him right around the inside jason Doyle moved across the track there and it was enabled a straight line uh from Yankee up the inside and Leoo just clatters into him poor old Jason Doyle back to the Grand Prix not 100% fit by any means feeling a lot of pressure in this race but uh Jack Holdley had to go defensive on the last lap there because Leeds really was creating some decent speed holder of course won in Warsaw he’s on 54 World Championship points equal third with Bean Lingren that was a timely win for Jack Holder he’ll want to stay in the chase here tonight if he can of course three Grand Prix in eight days will have a huge impact on the outcome of the championship and the top seven top seven automatically qualify for next year’s championship what a lineup we’ve got in number 14 don’t take your eyes off of this one lambert beauty sma wow lambert’s on the inside in the red helmet color dominic Cabera out of gate number two in blue be’s changed his bike he’s coming out of gate number three in wide and the man who’s unbeaten tonight Vto Smiles will go from the outside in the yellow helmet color what a race this is oh this is a superb race smik off the outside dan Buulie desperately needs a race win here he does indeed he hasn’t got the best start though and he’ll have to produce something they’ve changed the bike not going to plan so far this evening can he turn it around in number 14 he’s missed the start kubar has made a lovely one out of gate number two smiles electing to go high and wide will he get the better of Lambert down the back straight lambert trying to squeeze him up oh he goes right across in front of Smileley smile’s ready beautifully fasts himself back into second place it’s a Polish one too lambert now coming back into it beaut’s up the inside smiles top top draw speedway from him yeah Smileick is reading absolutely every move from Lambert lambert’s there left him space here i think he realized hadn’t done enough couldn’t get across i’ve got a feeling Smick now will have plenty of speed and stay ahead but Kuber Oh Sparsick’s going off him i tell you what loads of speed down the back straight here comes Barto Marley we’ve got a lap to go and heat number 14 will he remain unbeaten he wants to squares the corner off how about that he’s going to go down the inside just wonderful speedway from Smling cuba coming back at him squeezes him up 12 out of 12 for the world champion what a night of speedway he is having to work hard as well can’t take your eyes off of that doesn’t get much better than that and the man with five titles he won six right out of his skin tonight three points for Barto out in front just a three two points for Dominic Cuba second place for him robert Lambert back in third one point for him and Dan Buley not having the night he would have wished for failing to score in heat to number 14 hasn’t been able to back up last night brilliance not easy after such a high point last night but Vto Mars wow he’s invincible isn’t he so far tonight there’s absolutely no way he’s going to let anybody beat him look how far behind he was there around the first turn but Robert Lambert kept putting in the pass up the inside then this turn of Smarsick’s coming around the outside again lambert deals with that up the inside again smick times cut back perfectly doesn’t stop the bike when he makes the cut back doesn’t lose any momentum and then just straight lines it up the inside cabera has the presence of mind to then come back down the track and stop the run up the inside well Cabera actually nicked a place off of him last night so had that in the back of his mind didn’t he that’s for sure and had it covered and Barto Smiles absolutely in a class of his own so far this evening so 12 out of 12 he’s almost a finalist already you would suggest another point in his last ride will be enough to go straight through to his second consecutive final in consecutive nights here in Manchester anders Thompson will go from the inside in the red helmet color freddy Lingren out of gate number two in blue kai Hookenbeck good night for Hookenbeck gate three in white and Brady Curts on eight points he’s off the outside in the yellow helmet color brady Curts will be very keen to respond in heat number 15 he’ll want to go to 11 they’ll want to go straight through to the final with Schmars where we’ll see them battle it out we haven’t seen them go headto-head we’ve got to wait patiently for that until heat number 20 here we go then heat number 15 tapes are up charging into the first corner and here comes Curts around the outside thompson’s right on the inside curts and Ling oh they’re hooked up big crash oh awkward untidy crash going down the back straight freddy Lingren’s footrest caught under the engine plates of Brady Curts couldn’t get away from him and dramatic scenes in heat heat number 15 really unfortunate there just not enough room and Freddy Lingren just as you say I think it was footrest under the engine plates once they hooked up that was it he done everything he could to uh to try and keep leaning over to the left to stop them straightening up heavy fall though for Brady Curts we know he’s already saw only just coming back from his crash in Prague there he’s right in the BM comes back across hooks up and awkward one for Curts as well massive decision for the referee huge decision for him yes minimov he had a quiet night last night yeah he’s got one to make here he’s got a big decision i have to say I think maybe that’s Brady Curts’s fault he he came back because he’d come off the fence and came across Lingren who was ahead at that point it’s fair to say difficult one massive decision brady Curts has been having such a fantastic run nasty fall we haven’t seen Kurts we’ve seen the replay so I hope he’s okay good to see Freddy on his feet straight away and he making his way back to the pit area but we don’t like to see that high-speed innocent in incident excuse me at the end of the back straight and uh an appreciative crowd for the round of applause for Freddy Anders Thompson back in the pits but concern for Brady Curts um because already had a shoulder injury after the crash in Prague that was a heavy crash and an untidy one as well for Curts getting almost ragd as he went down into the air fence fingers crossed for him yeah thoughts with Brady we hope he’s okay because as you say Kelvin he was uh already uncomfortable we reported he was 100% coming into last night’s Grand Prix well we must be feeling that he’s okay cuz we keep showing the replays yeah he’s uh he’s gone in very awkwardly so it’s fair there they cook up well maybe the footrest is in the rear wheel i think it is maybe it’s in the rear wheel but he couldn’t get away from him could he no it’s it’s I’m not sure Freddy was ever in front so I tell you what yes Pristine Toto has got a really tough decision to make there but uh most important thing is to see Brady back up on his feet yeah footrest has gone in the rear wheel not under the engine plates see the smoke coming off the bike as well certainly Freddy’s done well to get off the bike but now this is the problem for Kurts two bikes and can’t get off his own one runs up there lands heavily again down on that shoulder same shoulder that’s going to hurt yeah yeah will he be able to take and his knee there as well he’s going to feel knocked about can’t quite believe what’s happened so he’s on his feet left side knocked about knocked about certainly going to feel like a herd of elephants has run over him he does appear to be all right but puffs his cheeks out rightly so you can understand that high speed accident that is maximum speed as you go into turn number three at the National Speedway Stadium and you go in with a lot of force when you’ve got two bikes taking you in as well exactly right it’s done well to be able to get up we haven’t heard what the outcome of the decision here and uh so Brady Kurts has been disqualified so a blow for Brady Kurts but uh he will be disappointed with that but in the bigger picture I think he’ll be relieved that he isn’t hurt or broken any bones well let’s hope he hasn’t he’s obviously showing discomfort in that left hand but uh real tough decision for the referee i can’t say he’s got it wrong i felt that Brady had come back off the fence uh you know he got his foot rest in that in that burm and uh Freddy possibly didn’t have a full picture of where Brady was so got to say probably the right decision it’s very nearly hit the air fence coming out of turn number two as he went down the back straight was a little untidy but certainly the speed it we’ve seen it on I tell you what I’ve seen Tuffington had a terrible crash going end of the straight it really is one of those situations where it uh is uh very awkward indeed but for the championship that is a blow for Kurts and Smik is going along so very well we will see Kurts out again hopefully fingers crossed in heat number 20 he still guaranteed need a place in the LCQ isn’t he yeah he’s on eight points so he’ll be a couple of rides to come let’s just hope that he’s okay hov is concerned everybody’s concerned he’s been a terrific addition to the 2025 SGP series ty Wender just uh seeing his friend through just wishing him all the best curts tell you what Speedway’s tough it is a tough game and when you think he’s just come off at high speed shocking incident is going to have to settle down refocus himself for heat number 20 because there’s championship points up for grabs and when Smiles throwing down the gauntlet Smiles’s got a four-point lead right now in this this Grand Prix yeah Smiles having one of those superb nights that he has quite often but Brady Kurts going toe-to-toe with him in the championship second Grand Prix of course on the top that uh down hard difficult one for Curts he’s a racing man and he has a racing brain of course going for the lead can’t can’t really fault his effort can you you can’t no that was one of those unfortunate things by the time he’s grabbed a bit of dirt on the footrest the bikes turned left a little earlier than he anticipated and certainly earlier than Freddy Lingren anticipated and one of those things so here we go for the restaging of heat number 15 riders are making their way back round to the start freddy Lingren will be in the rerun brady Curts won’t be that man who’s having a good night i’ll tell you what a win here will do Kai Hookenbeck with Brady Curts out of the picture this is a fabulous opportunity for Kai Hookenbeck to go straight through to the final yeah could do he could go double figures here with a win and lie in second place at this stage behind the world champion Barto Smiles so what an opportunity for Kai Hookenbeck who’s had a desperate runner for up until this point so riders back at tapes just the three of them second time of asking for heat number 15 anders Thompson just doing a last bit of gardening on the inside he’s in on the inside with a red helmet color on freddy Lingren has had to change his bike cuz the other one’s too knocked about gate number two in blue kaiuk had a gate number three in white and Brady Kurts is not there he’s excluded as the graphic says as a consequence of that high-speed crash in the original stagings of heat number 15 which way is it going to go as I say for Hook and Beck and Freddy Lingren lingren comes into this race on six points both those riders will be looking for a win now great start from Lingren on that spare bike nothing wrong with that that fires himself to the front here comes Hooken Beth through into second place thompson out the back in third place lingren right around the outside total commitment from the Swedish veteran hugging the outside here comes Hookenbeck hookenbeck up the inside nothing to choose between the front two hookenbeck now just got his nose in front can Linguin respond he can i tell you what for a man who’s just gone down hard onto the track lingren is showing plenty of confidence he’s now decided that it’s too far round for him riding very defensive now going down the straight very narrow stops Kai Hookenbeck getting a clean run into the corner going to have to do that for the rest of the race freddy Ling ran out of pressure but he’s worked hard fabulous fabulous effort from Freddy involved in that nasty incident not very long ago showing great commitment and character out in front here heat number 15 through the last corner and Freddy Lingren is going to move on to well he’s had three second place he’s going to nine points first win of the night he’s been very consistent with three second places prior to heat number 15 but Freddy Ling on his spare bike well I tell you what there’s nothing wrong with that is there at all sharp away from the tapes and he picks up the three points he’ll be absolutely chuffed to bits with that and Kai Hook going along nicely as well three points for Lingren in front kai Hook back in second place two points one point for Anders Thompson and the luckless Brady Curts this is out there in number 15 this really sums up Freddy Lingren never knows when he’s beat no you can knock him down but he will get up and it was an absolutely superb start as you say Kelvin on that spare bike looked better off the start than he has done all night so far with three second places brave move to decide to go right around the fence there at the time I thought I’m not sure that’s the right thing to do Freddy and so it proved to be as Hooken Beck put his nose up the inside but once Freddy worked it out said “Okay yeah it’s not the place to be.” Pins right down on the inside line starts riding defensive kybec moves on to nine points decent meeting for him so going along very nicely the German nine points likewise for Freddy Ling with his first race winner of the evening with a inside gate to come he can finish on 12 if he wins his last ride that’s heat number 19 heat number 16 everybody would have had four outings martin Bassik out here maxfrick was a terrific winner last time martin Baselix won his last two rides he failed to score in his first one but has bounced back with two super rides mickelson’s out here looking for more points mickelson on four needs a race win that would certainly liven his Grand Prix up immensely a last chance qualifier on the cards as a consequence ficks off the inside inside inside gate for him red helmet color gate two in blue is Mickelson he’s changed his bike martin Basilic having a smashing night gate three and white and Charles Wright the wild card off the outside in the yellow helmet color right won a race last night a lot of rooms between gate three and four here could be a bit of elbow banging coming away from the tapes from the outside two riders here we go tapes are up wow what a start from Charles Right martin Vasel missed it completely he’s out the back mickelson’s fired himself to the front out of gate number two frick up into second place charles right off of gate number four comes around the inside chasing Frick baselic out the back of Frick’s now under pressure frick coming through into the front terrific response from him gets the better of Mickelson lovely ride from Frick yeah Max Rick’s got the bike working well mickelson sticking with that outside line but Max Rick’s really got the bike hooking up he’s not riding in any dirt he’s on the light patch there the slick stuff but he’s confident with that bike seems to be working really really nicely this is not good for Martin Bashik as he now looks for a way there up the alone that’s Charles right coming through now he’s cutting back charles Wright in the BM getting dragged towards the fence good action for third place smashing right from Max Fred turning on the style here in heat number 16 he’s under pressure from Mickelson as they get to the latter stages through this miklson round the outside desperately working overtime frick hangs on time for third i think it was Martin Vaselik maxi Martin Vassley mike just picked up a point on the run to the checkered flag but the man that saw the checkered flag first was Frick and Frick has won his last two outings and he has moved on to nine points from four rides going along very nicely indeed so three points for Maxfrick Mickelson second place two points for him one point for Martin Vaselik he did get there handy point for Vaselik nothing for Charles Wright in heat number 16 frick turning on the style there smik leads away on 12 frick on nine hooking back likewise link on nine as well perz on eight martin Vaslick seven jack Holder seven dominic Cabera in eighth on six points so four races to go before the LCQs plenty to yet to be decided smiles is set for the final once again two consecutive finals for him in two consecutive evenings max Frick has turned his evening around he’s sitting on nine points i tell you what the the surprise rider tonight for me is Kai Hookenbeck he really has had a return to form he’s shown no form at all so far this year he comes into this evening well down the rankings he’s in 16th place with just 12 points so far from the first four rounds well he’s going to add to that big time here this evening can he make the final he’ll be dearly hoping so and Dan Bulley simply just has to win heat 17 hasn’t been his night he’s been uh not quite on the pace uh you kind of understand that it’s been such a huge win yesterday that he’s got three points has to win the last one and then hope that six points will be enough we have seen it six points we saw Dominic Kubber go through to the uh LCQs on six points in Warsaw um whether it’ll be enough tonight time will tell but right now right now he’s in 13th place he needs to get into 10th if he’s going to have an LCQ run out here this evening just a bit of extra work going into the track for these last four races okay let’s get some more reaction now the president of the FIM Hong Viegas is joining Abby with Joy joy we’re making history in Manchester with the Grand Prix here what’s your thoughts on this double header i was the first one to ask for a Grand Prix year when we had the nations and I think this double double Grand Prix in fact was fantastic last night was one of the best ever agree with you there and tonight um Bartos looks back to the pace we expect Bartos to have he’s very very intelligent in the way he chooses the the way where to go faster and now he has a big advance let’s see still missing one with each for each rider thank you so much thank you thank you yeah great to see Hog Viegas and he is enjoying his weekend here in Manchester we’ll take a look at the gate success one more time prior to these last four races and riders being released for heat number 17 six wins off the inside five out of gate number two just the one out of gate number three and four from the outside so uh pretty much the same as last night in truth the interu gate and gate four working well gate number three is probably one to be avoided in the latter stages this evening kc Buy what a race it is for Buy Charles Wright and Kai Hooken Beck in heat number 17 heat number 18 is Maxfick robert Lambert Jack Holder and Anders Thompson robert Lambert probably needs a win heat number 19 Linguin Doyle Kubar and Mikkelson freddy Linguin once again with that battling spirit you’ve got to say you have to admire him for it it really is spectacular and Curts will we see Kurts he’s on eight points andre Leedv Spartik unbeaten so far martin Bassik on seven points heat number 20 that’s the next four races to come to complete the qualifying races before the LCQs dan really needs a win here for sure but he’ll only have the minimum that is required might not be enough tonight it’s all very tight down there he’ll have three races to watch and wait yes he will have to win this race if he can then be patient to see what transpires in the following three he’s got where’s he coming out gate number two gate two has worked pretty well tonight second best guy gate here this evening charles Right well I’m sure he reflects on the last two nights it’s a high point in his career it’s a privilege to race in the Grand Prix and uh he’s had the opportunity to do it twice here in the National Speedway Stadium so Yanovc who won his first ride he will start from the inside in the red helmet color dan Buley massive race for him has to win it gate number two in blue charles Wright gate three and white and Hookenbeck the German off the outside the yellow helmet color he has had a great night he’s been rock solid worst place is a second place if he wins this one he moves on to 12 points and do you know what that might be just enough to go straight through to the final it might be so I’m sure he’ll be very keen to do that of course he will he number 17 tensions on what a start for beauty drama for KC the bike’s given up this goes straight away round the first turn here comes Hook around the outside of But is holding firm down the back straight in the middle of the track electing to go back to the inside and it’s worked well bey is he giving himself a lifeline here in heat number 17 yeah he’s certainly giving it absolutely everything bike drives across the corner hook effect he’s got speed up the inside oh yeah Dan Bulley had to cut him off there around the inside i think Dan knew from the off that the inside would be the line the track’s just been graded he’s had a little bit of water put down on the outside and he’s doing all the right things this is going to give him a lifeline as you say Kelvin yeah heat number 17 Dan Buy coming under pressure momentarily from Kai Hookenbeck made half a mistake he’s out in front he’s got less than a lap to go it’s his best ride of the night quite comfortably got away from the tapes hasn’t been making starts tonight but he knew exactly what he needed to do it was simple just simply had to win the race and he’s done that but come back under pressure from Charles Ryan at the conclusion of heat number 17 now the question will six points be enough for a last chance qualifier here tonight in round number five in Manchester there’s one man on the screen now he’ll be certainly hoping so he jumps up into eighth place at this stage but there are three heats to come kavette can’t get to him who can leaprog him robert Lambert there’s the position after heat number 17 dan Buley last night’s winner he lies in eighth place but he’s vulnerable to Robert Lambert leeds and Leeds but it still might still dan Buy will have a patient wait to see the outcome of the next three races but the outcome of heat number 17 wow terrific yeah he did nothing wrong there made a good start he was fair on Hook and Beck here he didn’t drive right over to the fence i think he realized that he was there gave him every bit of racing room but uh just came under pressure there from Hook and Bet looked like he was going to get on him but there Dan Buler using that BM to full effect to get back across the front of Kai Hooken back got defensive charles Wright getting in the mix on the run to the line so there we go now will now have to be patient and see what transpires in the next three races there’s a rider in heat number 18 that can have a say in what happens in the LCQs robert Lambert at this stage is outside that position he’s in 12th place max Vick will go from the inside in the red helmet color robert Lambert needs points here gate number two in blue jack Holder gate number three in white and Anders Thompson who’s had a disappointing evening he will go from the outside in the yellow helmet color and Thompson is in 14th a race win he’ll finish on six points as well will that be enough possibly not quite possibly not but you just never know but for Bulley with six points he’s six in eighth place he will be biting his fingernails right now for the next three races heat number 18 Maxfrick a winner last time can he do it again here in heat number 18 tapes have gone up fantastic start out of gate number two lambert absolutely fabulous gate two working a tree here comes Thompson around the outside max Freter spinning up coming off the first turn and it’s Thompson winding it on hasn’t done much all night suddenly the bike’s beginning to work he’s going to get the better of Robert Lambert and it’s Thompson from nowhere fast himself to the front brilliant ride jack Holder out the back but Thompson hits the front it’s so tight for these LCQ positions thompson now will doubly score on to six points could be enough he’s got a race win so that’ll be vital lambert oh there Jack Holder roaring up the inside and Max Rick really tough on Max max already for sure going to be in the LCQ maybe would have wanted more jack Holder’s got pace here robert Lambert trapped on the inside here comes Jack Holder robert Lambert has to block him kills the momentum we’re into the last lap now jack Holder up the inside opportunist move from the Australian gets the better of Robert Lambert snatches second place away it’s going to be a chance to the line side of the line but Holder hangs on tell you what Robert Lambert and Holder have got history don’t really like each other and they were desperate desperate as they came to the conclusion but Anders Thompson out of nowhere has given himself a lifeline the result three points for Thompson in front jack Holder coming through in second place two points one point for Robert Lambert well Lambert that won’t be enough and that is a desperately disappointing evening for Robert Lambert finishing on six points but he’s outside the top 10 so that’s not good news for him and Thompson is in ninth place right now that is enough and Dan Buy still in eighth place so we could well see last night’s winner in the LCQs as he was last night but for Anders Thompson he found some speed here yeah he did he’s looking very good actually robert Lambert hit the front great start from here amanders Thompson just stuck with the outside line on the opening lap best way to generate that speed whatever happens in the rest of the race you can get a lot of speed on the opening lap around the outside max Rick there having to ride defensive jack Holder at this point at the back not looking good for Jack there but he moves through the field lambert there putting pressure now on Anders Thompson but Jack Holder spent the whole race trying to work out what to do cut backs perfectly there on Max Streick then repeats the move on Robert Lambert great ride from Jack Holder yeah a tough race indeed between Holder and Robert Lambert but there’s no doubt that Anders Thompson Anders Thompson is in ninth place and anybody behind him mickelson is on six is Mickelson yeah possibly Mickelson might have something to say he’s out in heat number 19 freddy Ling’s off the inside in heat number 19 in the red helmet color jason Doyle out of gate number two in blue cubera gate three in the white helmet color and Mikkelson also gate four yellow helmet color mickelson comes into this race in 12th place he is certainly um going to leapfrog a couple of riders and that could be bad news for Cabera cabera’s out here as well could be bad news for Thompson and Dani and Dan Bulley this is quite a significant race here we go charging into the first turn ling’s got there he’s got the better of Door around the outside mickelson smashing ride from him absolutely jet propelled and here comes Do around the outside of England where did D find that from he’s elected to go very wide cabar is up the inside with Mickelson tied as they complete the first lap mickelson’s in front still do riding much better here really committed to the outside line but Mickelson’s away very useful points for the Danish rider on the cards yeah very useful indeed jason Doyle actually making the outside work better than we’ve seen in the last few races now Lingren coming under pressure from Kubera goes defensive around the inside i think that’s probably where he was ticking for the rest of the race very good ride for Mickelson out front though yeah and Cabera I’m not sure this is going to be good news for Cabara because he’s out of the point and Mickelson may well just be leaprogging and that will um relegate Dominic Cabera outside the top 10 we’ll wait and see but that looks how it may well finish up here super ride from Mickelson and he picks up a really useful win and Mickelson came into this race lying in 12th place that’s about to change big style and he’ll complete his qualifying races on nine points comfortably comfortably through to the LCQs here tonight but for Cabera that might just be Julia favor Misses out yeah so three points for Mickelson in out in front jason Doyle in second place two points one point for Freddy Lingren in third and Dominic Caba misses out in heat number 19 let’s see what that means now mickelson moves into sixth place martin Vaselik in eighth curts is there in seventh cber in ninth still and Dan Buley in 10th that must be due to the way they’ve met each other has to be robert Lambert still outside yeah it’s all down to Leevs in terms of Dan Buley’s future for the LCQ but a good start on the inside forceful move from Lingram but Mikkelson smooth running around the outside doyle there brave to move around the outside of Lingren lingren has to turn the bike very hard coming into turn three don’t think he realizes that Jason Doyle is coming it was a decent ride from Jason Doyle to finish his Grand Prix night looking much better in that one but Mkelson happy with that front wheel in the air over the line celebrating yeah it’s a really strong performance from Mickelson late in the uh evening he number 19 turning on the style and rocketing himself into sixth place his first win of the evening so heat number 20 will complete all the qualifyings braden Curt is out here he’s changed his bike cuz the other bike was bent and twisted after the nasty crash he’s on the inside red out gate number two in blue is Andre Leedvs barto Vaslick unbeaten so far out of gate number three in white martin Vashwick will go from the outside in the yellow helmet color as far as I can see battered and bruise cuts is out there good to see it’s great to see it in terms of Dan Buy i think Leeds has to win this race a second I don’t think will do it for him okay yeah Leeds on four points he’s in 14th let’s see what happens now e number 20 green light is on revs are up tapes are up and away we go kurt’s made a lovely start smile has elected to go wide he’s in traffic but Kur has made a stunning first corner and he’s away lev’s coming through in second place curse running wide bashik’s around the inside smack’s had a really over night lev’s coming through into second place but Smarz going to have to work very hard here for points lev knows what he needs he’s riding as determined and we’ve seen him all this weekend brady Kurts what a brave man he is heavy fall out front maybe not as quick as we’re used to seeing him but he’s doing the job three points on offer here for him leads hasn’t given up yet lev’s coming on strong in second place but Braden Curts defying the injuries defying the hurt and the longer the race goes on the better Kurts looks off the inside gate back out in the grid where he loves it down the back straight he was on eight points he’s going to finish on 11 and the Australian turning it around here in heat number 20 you got to love that you’ve got to give him an awful lot of respect brady Kurts he’s in this championship chase he wants it makes it intense wow lifeline for Bey Smiles and Brady Kurts are through to the final what a ride from Kurts three points for Braden Curts huge ride from the Australian andre Leed’s back in second place two points smick through to the final on 13 one point for him and Martin Bashik misses out here’s the position after five rides each and 13 for Smarlick brady Kurt what a brave man he is bouncing back with a win there he is through to the final with Bartoick at the National Speedway Stadium another fabulous night of Speedway we’ve seen some superb action already the big race is to come where the big points are handed out barto Schmars leading the way superb stuff from Kurtz to go straight through to the final they did it last night they’ve done it again tonight kai Hookenbeck what a performance from him curts and Frick let’s take a look at the lineup for the LCQs so there we go that’s the eight riders that will battle it out in the LCQs to see which two riders will join smarlick and Curts in the final gate success after 20 races tonight seven wins from the inside six from gate number two just one from gate three and six wins from the outside gate graveyard that is gate number three tonight there’s the points scored 33 34 from gate two 26 points scored from gate number three and 27 from the outside gate that is the true picture of the way the uh gates are performing so far this evening after 20 races three races to come before the completion of the double header here in the National Speedway Stadium artos Mars going along very nicely indeed but Curtz is hanging tough there is no doubt about that and uh Arto Msick will be able to watch the LCQs and prepare himself for the final where he’ll have the first gate pick hookenbeck will have a good gate pick here for the LCQ and will it be a miraculous night could damn beautifully somehow make the final for the conse second consecutive night from gate number three in the LCQ of course that the home fans will be very much on his side maxfrick who missed out after a terrific performance last night didn’t get to the final he resisted the temptation to take gate number four for the second time gone straight for gate number one knight proved to be the right place at the right time smashing night of Speedway Grand Prix Speedway out of the top draw for two consecutive nights i do hope you’ve enjoyed it at home we have three races to complete round number five the midway point of the championship kubber battling away once again kubber just about sneaking in in ninth place hasn’t had a great great night only scored six points but we’ve seen him do it before he had six points in Warsaw and made the final forbeck best Grand Prix of the season by far for him for the German he had the first pick of Gates for this first LCQ grading going on i say hooking back off gate one he’s had plenty of speed tonight i fancy him off gate one yes he has looked pretty impressive rock solid he’s had one win with four second places tonight very consistent indeed but it’s only the winners now that will join Bart Smick and Brady Kurts we have a minute or less before riders will be released to uh enter the track coming out jack Holder of course has already won a Grand Prix this year looking to make the final here this evening just didn’t quite do it last night finalists last night were Julie Smars Curts and Lingren will we see the same four riders in the final for two consecutive nights no we won’t because Lingren and Buly one of them’s going to get locked out yeah so there we are that blows my bat right out of the water i fancied that we would see it and unfortunately it’s going to fail it’s going to fail at the final hurdle but there we are so riders in position to be uh entering the track big ride for Holder this one he’s locked in a battle in the championship standings of 54 points with both beauty and Lingren of course both still in these LCQs yes he is jack Holder going along pretty nicely so here we go riders on their way out for CQ number one here they come then big moment huge opportunities who’s going to go through to the final we know two of the finalists of course Smilesick and Curts they did it last they’ve done it again tonight top two in the world really are beginning to dominate the series holders there holders trying to hang tough he wants to certainly be in the mix he’s 10 points behind coming into tonight it’s compatri Curts on 64 championship points jack Holder on 54 martin Bashik he’ll dearly love to make a final he’s ridden well tonight he’s had a couple of race wins beginning to find his better form Martin Basselik in the last couple of evenings he needs a big ride here though off of the outside gate won’t be easy so the lineup for the first last chance qualifier car hook the German off the inside the red helmet color jack Holder gate number two in blue out of gate number three and wide it’s Dominic Kuber and Martin Vashley goes from the outside in the yellow helmet color i fancy Hook and Beck but Holder will be a major threat here he’s been there he’s done it he’s already won a Grand Prix this season hookenbeck has had a terrible run of form has found some great form tonight can he clinch the deal here has to hit the front can’t miss the start here we go then the green light is on tapes her up what a start from Holder he’s got there he fires himself to the front it comes Bashik ashley coming on strong around the outside he’s got there what a first corner and back straight for Martin Bashik jack Holder’s got work to do now hook backs in third place here comes Holder on the inside what a response from the Australian files himself back to the front martin Bashley reads it beautifully sensational lap and a half of Speedway well I tell you what Martin Rashley read that well but Jack Holder’s now making a move up the inside he’s going to have the legs there yes he has he’s hit the front determination from Jack Holder it’s a big race for him he needs to be in the final down the back straight jack Holder will not be denied martin Vasley chasing him hard in second place what a ride from Holder we’re into the last lap and Jack Holder turning on the style and he’ll see Q1 martin Vaselik hasn’t given up he hasn’t thrown the towel in got one last chance through this final corner and Jack Holder looks a long way has to look to the right but he’s through he’s in the final there we go jack special ride for him it’s his third final of the season and along nicely jack holders in this you know and that is a terrific ride from him martin Bashik superb early on and a great battle for first and second hold us through to the final martin Bashley back in second place hook and Beck Knight’s over as well in third and Cabera misses out he finishes in fourth place in the first LCQ this evening jack Holder brilliant ride brilliant ride from Jack Holder finished fifth got 12 points last night is definitely going to go one better tonight but he’ll want more than that it was a good start went around the inside martin Vashelik plenty of grip got some momentum read it well jack hold up back up the inside there and it was a super move from Jack once he got in front settled down rode everything right he’ll be happy with that tough spreeway there jack Holder coming through get the better of Martin Vashlick vashlick must have fancied his chances early on but um Chris Holder his brother and Jack Holder just going about their business so LCQ2 riders on the way round to the start line another huge race here and dramatic stuff we’ve just seen a smashing race in the first LCQ can LCQ2 live up to that who’s going to go through to join the three finalists so far schmars Curts Holder they’re there one of these four going to join them will it be Lingren lingren’s ridden world again this evening will it be last night’s winner or will it be that man who just faded away at the back end of last night maxf Frick he’s on the inside he’s got the red helmet color on Max Frick the Australian gate number two in blue is Freddy Lingren gate number three in white is Dan Buy and Mik Mickelson off the outside in the yellow helmet color mickelson had a lovely ride in his fifth outing he really did come good there and he looked terrific and he won it from gate four so he has good memories from gate number four could very well be an opportunity for Michael Mikkelson to really kickstart his Grand Prix campaign freddy Lingren has just seen Jack Holder go through they’re both locked on 54 points before tonight lingren will be well aware of that chose gate two will it work out for the Swedish rider now tapes are up we’re into the first corner and it’s Lingren linguin just about gets there but Frick has ridden a lovely first turn he comes off the corner here comes Mickelson mickelson down the back straight brilliant ride from the Danish rider frick now chopping back to the inside can he get the better of Mickelson as they go into turn number one he can brilliant stuff for Max smallest of mistakes for Mikkelson and Frick was through here comes Mikkelson again up the inside he’s done it max again cuts back it’s a long way to the dirt for Mickelson he’s gone backwards again here comes Mickelson again up the inside they’re swapping places for fun every corner beauty linguin’s around the outside what an LCQ lingwood’s come from third to first fabulous move from the Swedish man and he’s hit the front we’ve got a lap to go and Freddy Lingman from nowhere has turned it upside down and he’s going to go through to two consecutive finals here in Manchester from Ling ling who was upside down involved in that nasty crash with cursing his head you got to admire the commitment from these boys out there tonight freddy Lingren coming from third to first in one stunning move in the LCQ2 brilliant ride brilliant ride you’re absolutely right here’s the result freddy Lingren out in front sensational three-way once again max Freick back in second place misses out mickelson mastered his chances didn’t do it and it’s not Dan Bu’s night he misses out in LCQ2 but Fred Ling and Jack Holder have just turned on the star in the last two races this is quite some conclusion to two nights of fabulous Speedway here in Manchester i tell you what Freddy Lingren for three quarters of that race was a spectator he was just watching Mickelson and and Max Frick battl out up front for the LCQ win but determination he stuck with it he’s working he’s watching the two riders in front of him working out where they were riding and for a lot of the laps neither of them were right by the fence now his attack starts takes him a lap to wind it up look at the speed he gets once he’s out there brilliant stuff from from Freddy Ling yeah Freddy Ling riding out of the top draw into another final finished second in Prague and that was a return to form for Freddy Lingren and he was fourth last night or want to be on the rostroom tonight not very disappointing if you make the final and you don’t finish in the first three and fast Freddy Lingren is in there to join Brady Curts and Bartock and Jack Holder so two Australians a Polish rider and a Swede in the big final here tonight so there are the world championship points 12 points for Frick martin Vaselick picks up 11 kahuk from him tonight 10 points for him world championship points now mikkelson with nine cabar on eight bey picks up seven thompson six lambert five four for Leeds three could forget two points for Jason Door and one point for Charles Wright just the four finalists to decide which way the big points go bart Smarling of course with an opportunity to stretch the lead once again in the championship but Brady Kurtz Curts who beat him in the LCQ this battle between these two personality is really beginning to build up we thought it might have slipped away tonight but Curts turned it around with a stunning ride in his last outing in heat number 20 and they’re back in the final again great success seven wins off the inside eight from gate number two six from gate number four and only one win all night long from 22 races from gate number three it really hasn’t worked tonight a graveyard that is great number three you don’t want to be there so we’ve got the gate choice for the big conclusion here in the National Speedway Stadium the final it’s coming up very shortly aby’s down there waiting patiently so let’s go aby’s down there it’s the big final take it away Gabby gate selection then for the final up first is Bartozic and he’s going to go from yellow he goes from the outside gate which gate will that lead brady Curts he goes from gate two which has been successful tonight he will start from blue inside gate hardworking Freddy Lingram will start from red and Jack Holder into the final tonight but a difficult gate for him he’ll start from white from gate three so the lineup for the final we’ve got Freddy Lingren on the inside gate brady Kirk comes out of gate number two jack Holder gate three and Barto Smiles will go from gate number four that is the lineup for the conclusion of round number five here in Manchester the final what are your thoughts on Barto Marslet going from gate four didn’t expect that got to say I thought he would come off either one or two uh gate four I mean it has worked in the last block of four heats had two race wins from gate four but hasn’t been successful in the LCQ so I’m a little surprised time will tell whether the world champion and the championship leader has chosen the right place ready Curts i think gate two he will be pleased with that and just doing a few physical jokes you would think after two nights of racing that might just be a little bit too much but um these boys are fit these days both Curts and Lingren have had heavy falls they were involved in that nasty incident earlier on that’s the trophy they’re all chasing of course the World Championship trophy has become very accustomed to holding it at the end of each season he does he’s uh he is very familiar with it indeed will he be able to do it for the sixth time in 2025 or will we see a new winner of the world championship holder certainly has recaptured his form in 25 it dipped away in 2024 in the middle part of the season but he has found his mojo in 2025 basic who’s had a terrific night was unbeaten prior to his fifth ride didn’t seem to really try super hard in heat number 20 if I’m um honest he did have gate three and there’s only been one winner from there he picked up one point and went through to the final polish fans are hearing their numbers once again they’ll be um cheering him on once again we won’t have a British winner tonight because we don’t have a British winner a British rider in the final but we did have a British winner last night barto Smley you have to admire his consistency he’s come to a place that he doesn’t really gel with but he has turned that around seems to have worked it out doesn’t he yeah he was second last night can he go one better tonight or will we see Brady Kurtz win his first Grand Prix in his career these two you just sense it’s building up beautifully and we’ve got a competition on here with two riders that really are beginning to set a standard they really are they are clear in the championship of course it could change there we’re just at the midway point now five rounds to come of course but we are going to a track uh that Barto Milesnik knows particularly well next weekend in Gora of course that was his boyhood club rode for the club for a number of years smiles is it a brave choice to go from gate number four didn’t hesitate must have done his homework and has elected to go from there he’s got to be thinking he’s going to generate a bit of speed off that first turn curts is going to be desperate for this though isn’t he he’s he’s picked himself up shook himself down saw his Belleview teammate Dan Buy win last night he would so like to do it and win his first Grand Prix and he deserves a win he’s he’s ridden superbly well he’s been brilliant in sprint races he’s picked up nine points from the three sprint races so far this season and he’s been apart from Prague he’s been absolutely rock solid in the Grand Prix so here we go then it’s final time here in the National Speedway Stadium round number five the ATPI FIM Speedway of Great Britain what a night of Speedway we have witnessed again last night was great tonight every bit the same and what a conclusion we have we’ve got the top two in the world going headto-head we’ve got Jack Holder trying to get on amongst it again and Freddy Lingren who never knows he’s beaten this is a fabulous conclusion to a part of Grand Prix speedway it’s been a great couple of days we’ve got three of last night’s finalists here as well in Lingren Smiles Curts and throw Jack Holder in he would love to win from here but gate three that’s going to be tough for him just arguing there with the start marshall that he’s he’s in a rut start Marshall wants to move him over i think Jack’s argument is well someone’s been here already yeah he’s got away with that and Jack Holder who is very close to gate number four so for anything goes from the inside and the red helmet color Brady Curts gate two in blue jack holder out of gate three in W and the world champion the championship leader goes from the outside in the yellow helmet color Smiles who you going with Kelvin well I’m going to go with Kurts I just sense it it’s his time yeah I I can’t disagree but I need to go with someone different off the inside gate I’ll go with Here we go there Ty Wolfen knows what it’s like to be in this position he’s been there many times here we go final time up Kurt makes Smart Leg’s having a real go from the outside electing to go right around the outside curt has got a good lead here comes Liquid here comes Smart smart leg around the outside of turns three and four can Curts cover it off here we go here comes Smiggling up the inside he’s done it what a move from Barto Smiggle i tell you what Kurts is going to come back at him but Smiggle super super moved did everything right got plenty of speed around the first turn went super wide he’s gonna stay out there he knows that wet that’s where Kurts can generate most of the speed he’s going to cover that off here we go basically riding out of his skin once again got the better of Brady Kurts you cannot deny the fact that this champion is riding like a champion here tonight in the National Speedway Stadium down the black straight for the final time in round number five second last night the championship leader wins his third Grand Prix of the season what a way to do it polish fans delighted the team delighted as well what he was doing when he chose gate forward didn’t he how can you ever doubt him how can you ever doubt him stunning performance from Barto Marsley got to give Brady Kur a lot of credit as well involved in a really nasty incident earlier on but Basley has laid the curse at the National Speedway Stadium he’s a winner in Manchester i tell you what Brady Kurtz is doing everything well but that man is doing everything slightly better yes Marley simply is the best rider in the world right now and his performances so far in the first round five rounds of the championship in the first half he’s won three of the Grand Prix he’s only had one disappointing round in his home country in Warsaw and the reception he is revered he is an absolute national hero in Poland and he’s come to the UK and he’s picked up 40 points in two days very useful and he moves on to 93 World Championship points a very proud Polish man delighted with the support he receives here in the UK but importantly for all of that success and he has been superb the gap still only 11 points yes so the championship is far from over and Brady Kurtz is certainly keeping him honest smileick wins here tonight in round number five in Manchester brady Kurts back in second place it’s Freddy Lingren on the rostroom here tonight he’ll be pleased with that jack Holder finishes in fourth place but for Barto Smiles well you run out of superlatives this was some finish yeah he chose gate four i think he knew exactly what he was going to do from there i don’t think he ever thought he would actually get to the corner in front but he makes a very early decision to get in the BM around the first turn that’s where he knew he would be able to make that speed up on the first lap got to say Brady Kurts really determined start went straight to the inside look so narrow there on the first turn he’s in the virgin dirt no one’s been there smick front wheel in the air he’s got so much speed cuts back to the inside you can see there Brady Kurt still brave enough after that crash to be using the fence going in the corner wasn’t enough smiles got his wheels line going in drifted up to the burm perfect maneuver well VTO Smiles League is having to give Brady Curts a lot of respect these days and he knows he cannot mess around when Curts is out there and we saw that very evident in the final tonight many congratulations to Barto Marley who is winning Grand Prix for fun that’s the 29th Grand Prix win of his career they have this tremendous drive and hunger for more we have a six-time world champion in attendance here are we seeing another one in the making a five-time world champion right now but Smilezik’s looking good for another one 20 points for Smiles 18 for Kurt 16 for Lingren 14 for Jack Holder they are the points dished out for round number five here tonight in Manchester so the updated World Championship standings 93 for Smileik and 11point lead over Brady Kzer on 82 70 points for Freddy Lingua moving into third place holder in fourth dan Buulie slipping back to fifth place at the National Speedway so we have the presentation coming up of course we will hear from the top three riders with Abby on the center green prior to them being um introduced onto the rostroom chris it has been two very very special nights of Speedway but Bart Smarting as you say rightly so just has the little bit in hand each time yeah credit to everybody here at Belleview the NSS because 47 races track held up but Baras Marshick is showing his class okay let’s get some reaction with the third place man aby’s with Freddy Lingren freddy into the final last night into the final tonight and on the podium yeah one step better than yesterday how would you summarize your night Freddy you always give it 100% yeah I do unfortunately very often it’s not enough so uh you know I’m pretty sick of losing out in the final so uh well it is what it is hear the disappointment but you did take the third place congratulations thanks not too happy but I tell you what he’s written out of his skin tonight Freddy Ling and when you consider he was involved in a very nasty incident third place was a great effort freddy Linger in third tonight okay Brady Curtis is with Abby now brady Speedway Riders are made of something else um tonight what a performance it was a massive off and your second here on the podium how are you feeling very second hand that’s for sure this one’s going to it’s going to hurt in the morning but uh I can’t let Beck get away i’m going to be here all year and uh yeah thank you so much to the to all the fans here for the good reception it’s uh I’m not British but it uh thank you very much they do give you a massive amount of home support you are a Belleview rider but the courage the bravery and it just shows how much this world championship means to you you must have been fighting through huge pain barriers then yeah I’m uh I wasn’t sure I was going out in in the heat or not and uh yeah the boys in the pits got me fired up and uh out we went rest up cuz Gorchoff is coming quick i’ll be there Brady well done so once again Brady Karns um just reminding Bart Smik and everybody else in the Speedway world that he is in this fight and he’s absolutely right brilliant performance once again from Brady Curts abby is now with the winner the world champion Bartlick bartlick you’ve come to Manchester you say last night you’ve now got a good memory you’ve got the evening there’s no doubt but I think in there I think there’s a subtle reminder that there’s plenty more to come from Barto Smiles League i think that’s not lost on him the uh the comments made by Brady Curts this is a proper rivalry Chris oh this is there’s pure emotion in Brady Curts’s face he has had such a tough night he has shown so much courage to stick it to Barto Marsik he only extended that lead by another couple of points what a championship we’ve got ahead we have indeed we have reached the midway point and Bart Smarzik’s going well he’s won three rounds brady Curts has yet to win a Grand Prix smiles of course has won 29 freddy Ling looks a little disappointed with his performance but he shouldn’t be i tell you what the way he’s done it I mean he should be very proud of it of course he wants to get to the top of the box but third place tonight two consecutive finals in two nights freddy Lingren doing himself proud tonight next man up Brady Kurts he’s going to feel like a herd of elephants have run over him tomorrow morning he’s pretty frank with Abby feels pretty secondhand but Brady Kurts is in this championship fight doesn’t want to let get too far out in front but there’s no doubt the world champion the five-time world champion has been exemplary this evening he has turned it on the style he’s had more speed he’s looked a bit more confident tonight a little bit more settled than the ride in the final no doubt about that was out of the top draw boss Nars on top of the box again the trophy for third place the trophy presentation now will be conducted with Tim Lightoot the ACU chairman coming forward to present the third place rider on the evening Freddy Lingren acu of course is the autoycle union the federation for the UK good to see Tim here this evening brady good to see a smile on Freddy also good to see Ian Sanderson the CEO of the ATPI handing out the trophy to Brady Curts the Australian second place a win in a Grand Prix cannot be too far away from the Australian and rightly he has a beaming smile and Jas clearly enjoyed his weekend here in Manchester president of the FIM coming forward to present the five-time world champion and the championship leader and a three-time winner in the Grand Prix in 2025 Barto another fabulous performance from a fabulous rider will be upstanding for the national can now pause for the national anthem of Poland every morning Heat heat heat heat there we go ladies and gentlemen Mars singing his songs out national anthem a proud Polish man and still riding at the top of his game fair play to him but we are in for some championship chase we’re at the midway point we do hope you’ve enjoyed it i mean that has been two very special nights of Speedway here in Manchester the weather’s behaved it was toppy turby and it was looking like we may well get thunderstorms and spoil the racing but it’s not to be smiles once again showing and proving what he’s all about but there’s no doubt that Brady Curts has an inner belief that he can really put the pressure on him you could just see the way he was speaking to Abby he really believes that he has a chance to get the better of him no question and why wouldn’t he you know he’s made three podiums four finals so far this year so yeah you know that belief is there abaras the margins are always fine but I would say tonight he’s back to his absolute best that’s ominous for the rest of the field but we’ve got three guys at least beauty holder lingren consistent they’re chasing those two yes they are it’s some the same suspects coming through so wonderful speedway the boys up there on the rostroom they’ll be enjoying themselves immensely we’ll get Soie time for the top three in the world okay let’s get some reaction with Abby and Greg and they will reflect on the performances of the top three tonight greg let’s discuss the podium finishes freddy Lingram he actually sounded and looked really disappointed with third place yeah definitely i mean after all the hard work he did there in that LCQ as well i mean he was he was dead last I think at one point and then he started his mission kind of like Dan did last night and just that guy you could never underestimate him he really pushes the limits but they seem so calculated for him yeah and he also obviously was involved with that crash with Brady he had to come back with that restart got the win again you just see the the character of Freddy yeah i mean he he never gives up it’s the I don’t even know what the correct phrase is for him but he’s he’s absolutely insane and that guy he wants to win you don’t want to have him on your tail or chasing you but um you know it’s a credit it’s so fun to watch you sometimes you want him to miss the start just for that yes now another guy that really wants to win and just so much steely determination is Brady Curts he must have been riding through huge amounts of pain yeah for sure you can see the swelling in the handy there and and I think that he’s not letting on to too much but of course not he’s a he’s a racer the endorphins the nerves and the adrenaline took over there in those last couple of races and the guy’s he’s so determined as you’re in your interview and you can hear him on the podium now too he’s just like he he wants this so bad and he knows that he can get Bartage it’s just a matter of time he is keeping Bartekch honest there’s only 11 points still as we come into the second half of the season anything can happen right we’ve seen it so many times and um I mean I I’m a Brady fan too i really like what he does i just like his control on the bike the mix of styles and uh he learns quick yep he really means business but unfortunately so does Bartosh we’re We can’t stop right i mean the guy like I said last night I’m in awe he he amazes me every single time he’s on the track so fun to watch and to see his determination the speed the work that they’ve probably done again this winter it shows the guy is a man on a mission and uh you know how do you stop this guy we say it every time but he is so darn good and how do you stop him when we now go to tracks that he’s won multiple times at absolutely so stopping him is one thing matching him is another thing and coming to to Gourjoff to match him in Gorov is going to be tough but you know that that’s a Gator track too however that guy finds lines i I I’m just excited we’re only halfway through the series there’s so many great races still to come greg thank you for your company terrific stuff from the two down in the pits there just summing up the top three here this evening they parading around the track still thousands of fans in the stadium applauding the performances of uh the riders here this evening so
