this is why I got up at half past 5 this morning look at this boat one of the best rides you can ever ever do look at that good morning good morning so today is my last day in Morca well for this trip and I had to come and do a really early morning fermenttor ride because I think this is one of the best rides that you can ever do ever it’s like 40k from where I’m staying there and back and it is about a thousand meters but I mean you know if you’ve been to New York how beautiful this is and the guys that I met yesterday on the ride um one of them had said “I’d seen your videos um he actually went to Grand Canary and then Morca on my recommendations.” And I know like I guess influencers get like a bit of a bit of a bad name um just in terms of just pushing stuff that people don’t need just to make money um I do not count myself in that i think that’s why I just don’t like the name influencer or the the job influencer however I’m happy to be an influencer if I’ve encouraged someone to go ride somewhere on their bike like that made me so happy um and yeah so this is my this is my push to you like if you’ve never been to Morca book the trip to Morca i would say time wise because obviously you saw the heat yesterday i would say to come either like April April early May maybe or September but it’s not as hot cuz like this morning it is I think it was like 24° and it was 6:00 a.m when I set off i want to stop chatting because I need to get back because I need to be kind of the other side of the island for 10 to 10 because I’m kind of coming back here we’ll see i don’t I don’t really know where it’s going but um I’ll bring you along for the for the fun little trip that I’ve got planned i want to give this go a date you little knee pads that is the best baby goat hello [Applause] there okay don’t do it about to go kayaking we’re in I can’t remember what it’s called san Vincent san Vincent so about to buy a little cap just to keep my head out of the I am paddling this is Morca like I’ve never done it before how funny is this though do you know where we’re going i’m guessing this way around that way I guess along the course yeah and I’ve never kayaked actually maybe I actually maybe I have in the lakes but um I’ve never done it in like water like this i was like I have to do it in Morca i never even knew this was here had a little Google this is mad i’m like a little bit [Music] when Yeah when the sea level is down it was nice you did i knew when I’d fallen out i was like I I can’t leave this without going back in yeah i didn’t I didn’t go further forward i just stayed in my seat i didn’t yeah that’s I think that’s why like the first time I think that’s why the first time I like stacked it woohoo can’t I can’t do something and not do it and then look it’s so low yeah i didn’t sit back on the seat i just kind of stayed where I wasn’t i think cuz I was too high i had to like twist to get out and then I just stacked it outside oh it’s so fun though and I’ve leared to get back in the kayak which was I’m so glad there was no cameras on that cuz that was not it was not gracious got it on my Garmin as well i’ve got me kayak um activity going so that’s ready for the old straws i’ll tell you what my arms and shoulders tired now it’s just 7k back to the hotel actually I’m going to go and get orange juice some sush hello so I thought I’d have to film you on the rest of the day because I couldn’t film that much because I didn’t have a like a thing to make my camera flow and I didn’t want to lose the camera so yeah we kayaked we climbed up some cliffs jumped into the sea you didn’t see a lot of that cuz I obviously didn’t have my camera but yeah we jumped off this like I say cliff i mean it was quite high it was quite high for me i think it was like 4 mters 3 4 meters anyway so I jumped into the sea there and then we k some more we went around a little cove had some melon jumped off another climbed up some more rocks clambored around some others it was just like a really nice day i think it’s because it’s something that I’m not used to doing so like when I come to New York probably like a lot of you you just do the cycling thing but I was like “Oh I’m going to leave a link to the place that I did it.” It was only was it €60 we were out for like a good three three and a half hours like I loved it it was such a I don’t know it’s just a different experience which I really enjoyed so um that’s pretty much it so I’ve packed all my stuff up my tax is coming to Pit i say taxi i’m getting a transfer um in about 40 minutes do a go it’s really sunny also as well um the guide I was asking him about the heat they’re saying it’s calm which is that makes so much sense i only thought you really got that in the canaries but obviously it’s hot so you can get it anywhere so basically what KMA is is it’s um wind and dust and sand that’s blown across from like the Sahara I think and that’s why it’s been so hot um and that’s why yesterday I could barely like my mouth is just so dry and sore because of that I’m guessing um makes me feel a little bit better cuz I had to um stop on that climb i was like I am dying on this climb it’s still really humid today though so um but yeah that’s been my day i’ve had such a nice trip again in Morca i mean when do you not have a good time in Morca although if it rains not as pleasant anyway I’m going to go head to the airport i’m trying to think of anything else to let you know on yeah I’ll leave the ride i mean everyone knows for men to ride in fact I will leave a link to like my top five favorite rides in Morca even if I’ve not done it this time so that you can do them and kind of steal the roots if you want to come out and do them later in the year or whatever all right thanks for watching will see you all very soon and yeah farewell goodbye thanks Ma i just love so much okay goodbye goodbye

Katie, you are an influencer of smiles. You are a joy to watch. Have a great day.
Hi u have bike in uk ❤❤
Speaking of GOAT's . . .
Now that is vacation😊 enjoying at full extend 🤘🏻😎
Well, you played a role in me switching to 165 mm cranks 5 or so years ago. You and Phil Burt. And no regrets here. Keep on doing what you’re doing; you have a great approach to cycling and life.
That goat was there last week too…
Next time you're in Llandudno remember the Goats aren't that friendly! Kayaking looked great fun – limbo kayak!
That water is a beautiful blue! Was the water cooler than that ride that "defeated you?" You smash mountains on a regular basis. I got worried for you when you were overheating. I've known that kind of overheating, so I felt it to see you. Take care of your lovely being, because we learn and live vicariously through your videos. Your pretty smile and attitude are contagious.
Looks like one of your better days out and about, glad it went well, although that cave was a bir of a challenge.
Another little adventure finished. Good to try something different. Safe trip back. Bye.
You always have a refreshing take on rides and locations. You and Tristan Ridley are my favorite bikers and bike packers! Both of you provide candid and optimistic perspectives on your rides and the places you go. You go!
Goat zero sheep, maybe next time
Nice to see you having so much fun.
I saw three 🐐 in your video. Wow the water was so green. That was a fun 3hr of cliff jumping and kayaking 🛶 into the cove cave 😮. Thank for sharing the Mallorca vacation spot katie.
On long tours, I always try to do at least one off-the-bike adventure. I’ve heli-hiked on Fox Glacier in New Zealand, done a glider plane ride in Maine, USA, done a jet boat up the Snake River in Idaho, USA, and many others. It’s always a great adventure doing something I wouldn’t ordinarily do.
Cap de formentor my absolute favourite route and scenery. Kayaking’s good fun unless you come off, it’s a pig to get back in for me anyway. Glad you liked it. Nice little vid as always.
Thank you for sharing a different type of adventure!
Cala st Vincente , where the locals go to get away from puerto pollensa ….
Did something similar to the kiac trip in the cave business years ago, on Turkey I think, only I was snorkeling instead, right up your street Id have thought 😊, the sea there looked lovely, crystal clear?? 😊
I love to see the pure happiness. 🫶 That place looks beautiful!
Always good to mix it up now and again … keep having fun, on and off the bike! 🚴🐐⛰️🍊🌞
Haha – right now (11pm) in Suffolk it’s 21°C, and it’s been up around 30° today. Dunno what it is in Manchester, but welcome back to the heat!
Boy! That water looked good 💙👀🩵
I watch so many Mallorca cycling videos that I forgot that people actually do other stuff there, like kayaking and swimming.
I said to you a few months ago about Northern Ontario having nothing to look at but rocks and trees. I was out for a 40 miler today and i realized that I would so much rather look at rocks and trees than concrete buildings and 6 lane highways..
😀😃
I was in Mallorca in late Aug/early Sept 2019., stayed in Puerto Pollensa. The cycle to Cap de Formentor was my first ever ride with some climbing. It was a stunning ride, something I’ll never forget. Cala Sant Vicenç is really beautiful. Cant recommend that corner of Mallorca enough.
very nice ❤
