today I’m going to show you one of my favorite balance exercises that ticks all the boxes for improving your balance and preventing falls now one of the common problems with balance exercises like standing on one leg is that they only challenge your static balance which means your balance in one position whereas this little exercise does your dynamic balance as well it’s called the tightroppe walk and here’s how it looks you’re going to stand on your floor and you’re going to imagine you’ve got a tight rope going out in front of you like that and all you’re going to do is go heel to toe walking along that tight rope so your heel must touch your toe as you walk and you want to do this as slowly as possible it’s kind of like riding a bike if you go really fast it’s actually quite easy but if you slow it down you start to wobble a bit and that is where the improvements happen just 2 minutes of practice of that per day can be transformative give it a try and drop a comment below and let us know what you

I'm on it!
Thanks Will !
Just love you, I always feel like you’re my sweet Nephew, that has stopped by, to help auntie stay on top of her game.
I appreciate you and all of your knowledge!
P.S., so much more challenging than static, one leg balancing !
I feel all of the other muscles working!
On it but I do it barefoot and use my toes to try and grip the floor as I go. Is that good Will? Thought it would help my feet.
Thank you! This is the missing piece.
Is there an exercise for building muscle in the feet?
Good practice for passing a driving sobriety test! I've worried about being perceived as drunk if I ever get asked to do this – brilliant.
This is great!!!

😢oh dear, never thought it would come to this. I need a counter top to hold onto . Added now to my daily "must do" exercises

Figure skater here (for 59 years). This is excellent, and I'm always exercising for balance, strong legs, feet, ankles, and, of course, core.
I also walk on top of curbs (deserted parking lots) and walk backward. UPHILL. Looking 12-15:years younger, according to people.
Sure his age as stated is a number of years shy oftrue age😮
I am realy a big fan of all your exercises. For me there is obe problem. Yoz show sooo many exercises and such an amoubt if possibilities, that I feel almost lost. How can I start with 5/6 exercises to create a daily routine? Where can I find something similar?
Slow is better and do we have to do it without shoes and socks like the video, or can we use tennis shoes? Thanks.
I really enjoy your channel and learn a lot. I'm definitely going to incorporate this in my routine.
Thank you so much for your help😊🎉❤

In India most rituals have a purpose. There is one practice of walking slowly around the temple heel over toes. Young ladies usually do this.
Hi Will, love the videos as always, just to let you know something.I used to do this in Taichi, It was called walking on rice paper. I still do this, it is great for getting focusing on your balancing and also for your mind. Thanks again my friend. John.
I have been doing this every day and have seen great improvement
This is very hard for me. How should I progress? I can't even do one step without losing my balance!!
