Welcome to another chaotic travel vlog from the worst travel vlogger in Sweden! 😂 Today, I’m taking you on a spontaneous adventure to Saltholmen, a ferry terminal in Gothenburg, Sweden. From here, you can take the ferry to the beautiful southern archipelago – including Vrångö and other scenic islands.
🗺️ I show you the ferry map, talk about island hopping in Gothenburg, and give you a local’s look at this charming spot. You’ll also get a peek at:
Local snacks like baguettes and ice cream 🍦
A popular Thai restaurant 🍜
A restaurant called Paradiset (yes, “Paradise”) 😍
And even a nudist beach – no cameras allowed! 🏖️
🌊 To top it off – I went for my first swim of the year in the freezing 12°C water. Coming from Southeast Asia… that was a shock 🥶
If you’re planning to visit Gothenburg or just love quirky travel content, make sure to like, subscribe, and turn on notifications. I might do a full island hopping tour in the next video – who knows!
🔗 Useful Info:
🚋 Tram from Gothenburg city to Saltholmen takes ~20 minutes
⛴️ Ferry tickets cost around €3–4, same as a tram ride
🌴 Great for summer days, bike rides, swimming, and exploring the archipelago

I love Saltholmen 🙂
Jag har inte badat utomhus sedan 2013 här i värmland men du är tuff nog att doppa och bada dig
Är det första doppet i år 2025?
Islands ❤
Imponerande att ta ett dopp i ett kallt hav. Mvh badkruka
Toasten. 29 bath. Fortfarande. Samma som 2010. Eller 27 kanske det var då.
Snygga skor på gymmet. Köpt dem inför denna resan? Bra jobbat !
