There’s going to be some action. Look, already, a lot of action at the front of this group, Juan Guillermo Martinez, Romain Bardet’s teammate, who is in the last positions of this group, we see Guillaume Martin who has just returned. Sepp Kuss eating a little, Sergio Higuita who is restarting and other guys behind who were in this breakaway with Clément Braz Afonso for Groupama – FDJ, with Louis Meinjtes. There’s also movement in the Yellow Jersey group. Here it is, this Yellow Jersey group. Jacky said: There’s still Paul Seixas, but there aren’t many people left. There’s Maxim Van Gils, there’s Florian Lipowitz, of course. There’s Vingegaard and Matteo Jorgenson, Tadej Pogacar and Pavel Sivakovv, Remco Evenepoel, Bruno Armirail still alongside Paul Seixas. And it’s coming back very, very, very quickly now to the front of the race. The big fight has begun. It’s Bruno Armirail. Apparently. I thought it was Clément. Romain Bardet is relaunching. The points, the mountain points. There are a lot of points today. They’re only hors catégorie (out of categories), with Santiago Buitrago going to fight for those points. Yes, 15 points. Buitrago has already moved into second place at the top of La Madeleine, so 15 and 12, 27 points. We can see the Yellow Jersey group, Jacky. There could be a junction between these three groups. There are still a few gaps in the descent. Paul Seixas is still hanging on with Bruno Armirail. I’m a little scared, me, on this descent of La Croix-de-Fer with all these riders who are falling behind, but not too much. When you’re a rider, when you have a bib, you’re ranked in the general classification, you only think about one thing: riding the descent flat out to try to make up time on the Yellow Jersey group. There’s a way, on this descent, to quickly make a mistake, even if the road is dry. That’s not Louis Meintjes’ problem. He’s experiencing it a little behind. He’s gaining some margin, the South African, ahead of the Visma, are making the descent. We saw them, the bees quickly stung. And we find Romain Bardet, who fell just behind Santiago Buitrago, at the top, but who is a fan of descents. Romain Bardet, one of the last descents of his career. The pin is tomorrow evening for Romain, who asks for directions. Forced to take risks. Yes, we can see it. He’s in control. The small advantage for Romain Bardet is that he has a bike in front of him. It’s true that any rider approaching a descent doesn’t look at their front wheel, they look far ahead. It’s always interesting to have a bike in front that’s tracking you. Here too, it’s a steep descent. We’ve caught up with the Colombian trio. There’s no one between them anymore. Apparently, on the Visma – Lease a Bike side, Sepp Kuss has just been asked to stop riding, and note the return of Ben Tulett. It’s true that we’re seeing a lot of yellow jersey. Ben Tulett attacks, direct. Ben Tulett attacks. It’s Remco who goes into the wheel. Yeah, Remco. It’s Remco. Sivakov reacts too. So there, we’re not going to let Remco Evenepoel get away, obviously. It’s coming back. 38 seconds for Romain. He’s still far from the foot of the climb. Romain Bardet, the problem is that he’s there, he’s saying to himself: I have to manage my effort to save some for the final climb. He can’t go flat out. While behind him, a rider like Pavel Sivakov, the finish isn’t in Valmeinier, for Sivakov. The finish is… At every marker. Yes, there you go, at the foot of the Télégraphe, at the foot of the final climb. Here we go, 16.5 km/h, the gradient at an average of 6.7%. We’re going to describe the monster. You already showed it earlier on your magnificent palette. Steve Chainel. It’s the Télégraphe. Up to 7.6 kilometers from the finish line and we see it, an average percentage Around 8% on his longest section. Not a big percentage, it’s pretty consistent, but it still hurts. He’s not Super Mario. Look, Bruno Armirail is riding in the lead for Paul Seixas. So, what are we there? In a position. And he’s relaunching, Romain Bardet, with a 25-second lead. A little hope. The problem he has, he would almost have preferred to be caught in the valley and save himself for tomorrow. But now, he’s still leading a stage of the Dauphiné, so he can’t afford to stop to recover for tomorrow. He’s continuing the adventure, he’s enjoying himself. One of the last breakaways as a rider. We had neutralized, but we had allowed the breakaways to fight for the victory. Attack from Kuss. We were waiting for Sepp Kuss. We were waiting for Jorgenson. Here we go. With 13 kilometers to go, another attack from the former winner of the Vuelta a España. And Sivakov is going to go back. Just as Romain Bardet was starting up again, Sepp Kuss decides to accelerate. And right away, Pavel Sivakov is there again. Sivakov with Pogacar behind him. Will Pogacar move? Vingegaard in his wheel, Remco who has put himself in Jonas Vingegaard’s wheel. Behind, it’s Florian Lipowitz. Is he really Lipowitz? Remco who would also like to find his place on the podium at the Dauphiné. For now, it’s Lipowitz. Bib number 4, white jersey. Above all, we saw Jorgenson pull away, fall back. Could there be a big acceleration from Sivakov to prepare for Pogi’s attack? That’s what we can ask ourselves because right now, he’s giving his all, there’s Johannessen. Behind, it’s being unhooked. Look, Remco. And here’s Pogacar’s attack. And we’re going with Vingegaard. 11.9 kilometers from the finish. Whoever likes me, follow me. And there, it’s standing. There, it’s standing. Come on, over. Vingegaard has sat down again. Same scenario as yesterday. Much longer climb, different climb. Watch out for Lipowitz who’s coming back and who might counter Jonas Vingegaard. Look, he’s turning around, Vingegaard. He’s going to try to join forces with Florian Lipowitz. And Remco isn’t there. Remco is going to lose the podium. The podium, it’s clear, there. We have the three best of this Dauphiné. Paul is catching up with Sepp Kuss. Perhaps the best rider in history, of this century, for sure, leading the penultimate stage of this Dauphiné, heading towards Valmeinier with Vingegaard, 15 seconds behind, with Florian Lipowitz 22 seconds behind. And Remco Evenepool, who is still riding with Johannessen, 50 seconds behind. We have a group of a dozen riders behind who are now cruising around fifteen seconds behind the Evenepool group. We can see Florian Lipowitz behind. He’s not far either, Vingegaard’s Florian Lipowitz. He’s especially closing in. Yes. He’s closing in especially compared to Remco and the others. He’s building his podium just as he built his podium in Paris-Nice. And the gap. Yes, 19 seconds, it’s limiting. On the other hand, Evenepool is 1’25” behind now. Lipowitz, 51” behind. Yes, Lipowitz is regularly losing 5 seconds per kilometer. Remco Evenepoel too. The only one holding out is Vingegaard. We had doubts at the beginning of the week. Some signs showed that Jonas Vingegaard was ready. There was this time trial that surprised us with its result. Vingegaard beat Tadej Pogacar quite easily, Remco Evenepoel rolling on the road world champion. But these two mountain stages swept away any doubts. Pogacar is turning around quite a bit. He wants to have a little visual reference. This finale, the different hairpins. He’s going to turn right again, there will be 350 meters left. He’s made up time. Look, in this last kilometer, we’re going to go beyond 30 seconds. Ten, six, and four bonus seconds. Jonas Vingegaard giving it his all. Of course, he’ll be beaten, but his goal is in three weeks. Giving everything, covering the kilometers, maximum effort to try to compete in the big July race, which is a marathon. The Dauphiné is eight days. The Tour is 21 days, and we know the Dane is an excellent marathon runner. Florian Lipowitz, the former biathlete. There were more tactics in biathlon than in cycling, who just passed under the flame red. Kisses to Emilien. To everyone. To the Martins, the Simons. To all our biathletes. And as we said earlier, he has the balls and he has the rifle. And every day, he finds the target. In any case, he hit the mark twice in 24 hours. Winner yesterday, when we thought he was a little in doubt, he will win again today, savoring in a few moments a 98th victory. Tadej Pogacar wins at Valmeinier and is only 24 hours away from winning the Dauphiné for the first time in his career. Unlike yesterday, he recovered completely in the final. Yesterday, we saw that he wanted to make up as much time as possible on Vingegaard. He finished practically freewheeling, unlike Vingegaard who made up a few seconds on the Slovenian rider in the last few hundred meters. He is where he belongs. I think he is already happy to be ahead of a rider like Remco Evenepoel in the general classification. And in the White Jersey classification, because they are both in that classification. And Florian Lipowitz will win the White Jersey ahead of Remco Evenepoel, until tomorrow. Still, it’s not over. At the finish line, it will be almost 1 minute 20 seconds. 1’21” behind Florian Lipowitz. So, as I said, he will be very, very far away tonight in the general classification. He was 50 seconds back. He will be more than two minutes back. We’ve been waiting for his arrival for a long time. He had already finished tenth in a Dauphiné, Tobias Halland Johannessen, while I find him pale, Remco Evenepoel, jersey wide open, he’s going to finish. We’re going for Tobias Johannessen. It’s going to be interesting compared to Seixas, compared to Jorgenson. He was 30 seconds ahead of Paul Seixas, a little more than the American Jorgenson. Remco Evenepoel who is finishing. Will he also be under threat, tomorrow, from Tobias Halland Johannessen? The top 10 of this stage, with Guillaume Martin, also the first Frenchman, will have a good run in the general classification. And then, Tadej Pogacar’s 98th victory. The general classification will be announced in a few moments. For now, we have the top five in the general classification, while Tadej Pogacar is heading towards the ceremonial podium. We can see Marc Chavet, to whom we salute Marc. And we should have the general classification. Now, the question is: is Paul Seixas sixth? We’ll find out on the pedal kings’ list. I gave you this classification a few seconds ago. The rest of the classification is now with the pedal kings.

Dop dop ça mousse !!
vive le dopé
Bravo eurosport
