Ex Royal Mail bicycle. Circa 1980s I guess. A postie mate said he first had one when he joined back in the 80s, loaded up with 49kilos of post!
Unsure how much it weights. It’s heavy, about 20kg I think.
44/18 gearing. Rod brakes.
The weirdest bottom bracket design I’ve seen – not threaded but has a sleeve that you insert which then has standard BSA threading for a regular cup and cone bottom bracket. Similar to the ones you use on a bike with knackered threads that tighten against each other.
Usually ride fixed, clipless. So this is bit more leisurely and practical – if slow.
