The Barden road descent is located high up in the hills of North Yorkshire with Embsay to the south and and Kettlewell to the north. The descent starts from the crest of Halton Moor on Black Hill and I can guarantee it is a blast !
Your trusty steed will quickly pick up the pace as the force of gravity pulls it down towards the valley below where the river Wharfe carves it’s way through some of Yorkshire’s finest countryside.
Today I was on the verge of hitting 50mph but due to the prevailing winds I had to settle for a sub “50” descent (49.1mph)

Isn't it winter in UK? Short sleeves?!?!?
No better feeling.
The climb up looks like a nightmare though, I did the Bwlch in Wales and got carried away on the descent and went the wrong way off it and lost my group, had to climb it again haha!
Should read Barden road descent down to Barden priory near Bolton abbey
Go on, Daz, smashing it 😎🚴🏿♂️💨
