good morning today we’ve changed to Partamon and we’re cycling in the out the province and we’re cycling from the village of Ban to Fukalier and doing a loop and going back come and join us oh and we saw vultures we started in Banon and headed out down the quiet roads [Music] the views as we headed out were just glorious all through this valley [Music] along the ribbon of smooth tarmac nothing to be seen recycle past fields swoop through bends and then met glorious old cars coming the other way including plenty of friends for Fifi [Music] we carried on below this pretty little village [Music] taking the road towards forcalier [Music] we passed sheep with bells and carried on with these beautiful views before heading up alongside a reservoir which looked turquoise under the blue sky [Music] isn’t that so inviting [Music] with views back towards the Lubberon and then on to what we think looks like Hagrid’s house these incredible stone structures no cement just stone piled on each other absolute works of art then we arrived in Fort Calcier it’s such a pretty town and on Monday full of a market the bells were peeling [Applause] and we just enjoyed it we just had the most glorious cycle through and we’ve just stopped in the town of forcalier which is such a pretty place has a fantastic Monday market and always has a nice bustle it’s got even more of a bustle on today because there’s the trail de do provence going on so there’s lots of runners and walkers going through and as we arrived the bells in this bell tower were chiming and it was so loud it was wonderful on from here up into the hills and then we were off again heading out up the road behind the town with the Durans Valley laid out at our feet [Music] gently climbing through the bends [Music] with glorious views every way we turned at the top we stopped and just took it all in listening to the beers dashing around overhead honestly it was absolutely spectacular [Music] but happily that was the high point and from there on it’s a downhill run [Music] we passed banks of scented broom which was so heady and then we started heading really down sweeping through bends along this beautiful quiet road [Music] passing through hair pins [Music] i’m just simply enjoying the ride heading towards Santetien or the little place you can see in the distance which is at the bottom of the Montana Jill we’re not heading up there today [Music] few more bends some more stunning views and again more cyclists than cars [Music] couldn’t help but smile [Music] then once we were through the village we were heading back towards Vernon [Music] this area filled with wild flowers [Music] back past a little lavender distillery and under the village we’d passed earlier such a pretty place then we saw horses but it got even better when we stumbled across these three vultures in a field picking over a carcass there were more circling above us along with black kites all we could do was stand and stare and enjoy the sight absolutely incredible [Applause] but we dragged ourselves away headed back to Banon so we just arrived back in Banon and honestly I think we always love riding around this area but to be honest I think that’s been the best ride we’ve had for a long time just the scenery was spectacular and those vultures honestly it totally and utterly made my more than my day probably my year i’ve never seen anything like it so hope you’ve enjoyed this little ride with us um thanks for following and if you want to see more then please subscribe cheers bye for now have a good day [Music]
