Hello everyone, looking for a new bike to commute around 16-40km (depending on the route I’m gonna be choosing to follow) 3-4 times a week (100-150 elevation). Also, I’m planning to slowly start preparing for a tough triathlon during 2024-2025 (new on this).

I would have gone directly for a canyon endurace cf 7 but need a commute bike asap and stock forecasts seem really bad.

No real clue about bike hardware etc, so far I just own a trek marlin 8 for going up and down a local mountain.

So for now, I was thinking to get a roadlite for everyday until an entry level endurace is available in a reasonable price for a rookie.

1. Do you think that the difference in drivetrain worth the 150 extra euros?

2. I would consider different bike suggestions & advice for my situation 🙂

Thank you all.
