I finally built my new bike and gave it a ride today!
I bought a new beautiful Trek Domane SL6 Gen4 of Hex Blue color and a pair of Bontrager Aeolus Elite 50 carbon wheels. I originally wanted to give a try to new Bontrager Aeolus RSL TLR tires, but they are really expensive now, so I decided to go with Schwalbe Pro One TLE, which were twice less money for the same size (32mm).
So far after riding this bike I am really happy with my new setup. I decided to keep my previous bike Trek Emonda ALR 5 2024 as my race bike or fast but short rides bike. Those two bikes do really feel different: Domane is very soft and comfortable, but Emonda is racy and feels like it rolls faster.
The main problem for me with Emonda were long rides, after like 2hrs on it I usually feel pain in my neck and shoulders area, like someone is stubbing knifes there. I did 1hr 40min ride today and Domane definitely feels better in this regard.
