I bought this off craigslist about 3 yrs ago for $250. Last summer I had it upgraded to 9 speed with 105 shift levers. I love this bike. When I was younger (before I was married) I had a steel Bianchi with full 105 and I loved that bike. Life happens and I don't have it anymore but I kept searching for a decent steel frame for a reasonable price.
I took it to my local bike shop for just a tune up, asked how much to upgrade to 9 speed 105 and she tells me about $500. Included rear derailer, both shifters, cassette, chain and chain rings. New cables all the way around and 1 new tire.
I told her to fix the tire and i would think about it and call her back. I called her back on the way back to work from the bike shop.
I rides like a dream. I would like to get a Brooks saddle…..
